10 Thesen für die Nutzung von Social Media für IR
1. Der IR-Alltag ist per definitionem dialogorientiert.
2. Sollte plötzlich eine aktive Teilnahme notwendig werden, wäre es zu spät, sich mit den Basics zu beschäftigen, denn Schnelligkeit wird zum Erfolgskriterium.
3. Wenn (zunächst) nicht aktiv, dann Social Media wenigstens passiv nutzen.
4. Entscheiden sich Unternehmen dann, z. B. Twitter aktiv zu nutzen, sollten sie eine klar definierte und nachhaltige Strategie haben, denn hat man den Kanal geöffnet, wäre ein Rückzug schwierig.
5. Social Media ist nicht nur Facebook und Twitter.
6. IR-Manager werden schnell feststellen, dass die Grundsätze erfolgreicher Investor Relations ausnahmslos auf den Dialog via Social Media übertragbar sind.
7. Eine unternehmensweite Social Media Policy ist essenziell.
8. Unternehmen können neben Hinweisen auf eigene Inhalte (Content) für das Investor Relations Umfeld interessante Randinformationen (Context) anbieten.
9. Soziale Netzwerke auch eine ideale Plattform für den weltweiten Wissens- und Meinungsaustausch unter IR-Profis.
