Die 23 Galerieräume des Louvre Abu Dhabi sind mit Teppichen aus Naturstein ausge­legt. Der Bau kann als Palast der Herrscher­familie oder als welt­offene Plattform für Kulturaustausch ge­sehen werden.

The 23 gallery spaces of the Louvre Abu Dhabi are finished with floors of natural stone. The structure can be regarded as a palace of the ruling family or as a cosmopolitan platform for cultural exchange.

Bei Dunkelheit leuch­tet die innere Struktur des Konferenzzen­trums von Plasencia durch die milchige Etfe­Hülle. Bis in weite Ferne wird so signalisiert, dass gerade eine Veran­staltung stattfindet.

In the dark, the internal structure of the confer-ence centre in Plasencia gleams through the milky Etfe membrane, signalling over a great distance events that are taking place there.

In der Harbin Opera sind die Foyers genau­so spektakulär wie die Säle. Die Architekten ließen sich von der Landschaft und den hohen Schneewechten in der Stadt im Norden Chinas inspirieren.

In the Opera House in Harbin, the foyers are as spectacular as the auditoriums. The archi-tects drew inspiration from the landscape and the tall snow cor-nices in this icy city in northern China. 58
