About the Workshop

Workshop Location The workshop will take place at the Leuphana University Lüneburg, Institut für experimentelle Wirtschaftspsychologie (Institute of Experimental Business Psychology), Campus Rotes Feld. The address is:

The closest bus stop is Kefersteinstraße / Uni (Bus 5012 from the train station, direction Bockelsberg). You can also get to the workshop location by taxi, car or bike, or walk there (for more information see below).

Talks and Workshops In addition to invited lectures, the workshop consists of two types of presentation: There will be so-called Quick Talks (15 minutes talk + 15 minutes discussion) and Extended Talks (30 minutes talk + 15 minutes discussion). We will have a poster session too.

Internet Access Free WiFi is accessible if you connect to WLAN-Leuphana. When you start the browser, you have to enter Benutzername: cdm and Passwort: m2014dC

Workshop Participation and Social Activities

Registration is free of charge. We will supply coffee, snacks and a small lunch each day but ask participants to take care of accommodation and traveling on their own.

Participants of the workshop are welcome to join our social activities. Three social activities have been arranged:

Friday, 4th of April |20:00 | Conference-Dinner at Mälzer-Brewery

Travel Information

How to get to Leuphana University (Campus: Rotes Feld)

Plane The closest airport is Hamburg Airport. From Hamburg Airport you can take the S-Bahn (S1, direction: Wedel / Blankenese) to Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). It takes about 30 minutes. From Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) you take a train to Lüneburg (see next section). To get to the S-Bahn just follow the sign with the green . For more information, see the HVV-website (http://www.hvv.de/en/all-you-need-to-know/for-air-travellers/). We recommend purchasing a “Gesamtbereich“-ticket for approx. 8 Euro (single ride). You can use this ticket to continue to travel to Lüneburg. Please note that you then need

to take the regional trains called “Metronom” . These trains are colored in blue, white and yellow and usually depart from track 11, 12, 13 or 14 (direction Lüneburg or Uelzen)

Train An easy way to get to Lüneburg by train is either via Hannover or via Hamburg. From Hannover, the ICE takes about an hour to Lüneburg. From Hamburg, trains are running every half an hour. If you take the Metronom train, you can travel with a “Gesamtbereich“-ticket. Make sure that you buy the ticket before getting on the train. If you take an ICE or an IC, you need to buy a different ticket from the “Deutsche Bahn”. Lüneburg train station is right next to the central bus station. From there, busses depart in all directions throughout Lüneburg.

Bus From the train station take the bus line 5012 (direction: Bockelsberg, every 20 min.). Get out at Kefersteinstraße (Universität) to get to the Campus “Rotes Feld”. You will get a bus ticket from the bus driver (approx. 2€). A quick and easy alternative is to take a taxi. Taxis are available at the station (approx. 5€). From the train station, you can also walk to the city center (10 min.) or the venue (20 min.).

Car Coming from the South, take the Autobahn A 7 Hannover-Hamburg, exit Soltau / Ost and then follow the B 209 to Lüneburg. In Lüneburg, follow the Willy-Brandt-Straße. You will pass a Lidl-store on your right. You have to pay attention to find a sign leading you to the university’s parking area (on the left side).

Coming from the North, take the Autobahn A 39 to Lüneburg / Nord. Then drive along the bypass road (Umgehungsstraße), exit Lüneburg /

Häcklingen, or follow the A 250 Hamburg- Lüneburg and then drive along the eastern bypass road (Ostumgehung) and exit Kaltenmoor. Follow the signs to University Campus Rotes Feld.

Coming from the West (e.g. Berlin), take the Autobahn A 24, exit Zarrentin and then follow the B 195 and B 209 to Lüneburg. Parking. There is a parking lot for visitors, which is accessible via the Willy-Brandt-Straße. If there is not enough space, you may contact the organization team (+ 49 175 760 54 78) and we will help you find a suitable space in the close vicinity.

Traveling in Lüneburg (and in Hamburg)

Bus (and Hamburg Metro) Information about bus timetables and tickets is available on the HVV website (www.hvv.de/en) for Lüneburg and Hamburg (incl. Metro timetables). Tickets can be purchased from any bus driver or ticket vending machine.

Single tickets are valid for one trip and one person. Round or return trips are not permitted and single tickets are not transferable.

Day Tickets are valid for unlimited travel all day long (expires usually at 3 a.m.).

The 9 am Day Ticket is valid after 9.00 o’clock, like the 9 am Group Ticket, which may be used by up to 5 persons. In many cases, you save money buying a 9 am Day Ticket – even if you just plan to take two trips. It is also advisable to buy a 9 am Group Ticket, even for only two people.

Pay attention: The ticket price in Hamburg depends on where you want to go. It is easier to get the right ticket if you enter start and destination (Start- und Zieleingabe) at the ticket vending machine.

Bike A very comfortable and flexible way to move around in Lüneburg is by bike. It is easy to rent a bike from StadtRad (http://www.stadtradlueneburg.de). Just register at the webpage or download the app. Bikes are offered and returned at different stations throughout the city (e.g.: Main Campus, City Center, Campus Rotes Feld, and Train Station) and it takes you about 10-15 minutes to get from one station to another. The first 30 minutes are free, after that you pay 6-8 cents / per Minute (daily max. 12€).

Walking The workshop location is approximately 1.5 km away from the city center and therefore, you can easily walk.
