Dear Friends & Colleagues,
we are pleased to announce the 6th German-Romanian Symposium on Gastroenterology, which will be held in Regensburg during May 23rd to May 25th, 2019.
It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the city of Regensburg. Regensburg, designated as UNESCO world heritage site, is a place where “tradition meets future”. The German-Romanian Symposium on Gastroenterology can proudly look back on a tradition of five exceptional conferences and always encourages future by supporting young clinical researchers.
The aim of our Symposium is to bring together German and Romanian clinicians and scientists, to support collaborations and to build up new scientific networks.
Therefore, we are thankful to all the fellows and contributors who submitted their original scientific work, which provides the backbone of our scientific meeting and forms the fundament of scientific and clinical future in Gastroenterology in and between our countries.
We are grateful to all professors/mentors for their enthusiasm, dedication of time for governance of the scientific event and their efforts to keep the education on highest standard.
This year’s program covers a wide range of important topics comprising Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Metabolism, Infectious Diseases, Microbiome, Oncology, Sonography and Endoscopy. Novel exciting data will be discussed in oral presentations and 50 poster contributions.
We hope you enjoy this exciting event, which synergizes scientific progress and friendship among our countries. We are looking forward to three days of intense scientific exchange and personal interaction.
With our best wishes
Prof. Dr. Martina Müller-Schilling
and the Team of the Department of Internal Medicine I University Hospital Regensburg
