ALPENRAUM: 23 NEUE PROJEKTE !Das Programme Committee des Pro-grammes Interreg VB Alpine Space hat sich am 19. und 20. Oktober 2016 in Bern getroffen, um eine Entscheidung über die Projekte der zweiten Projekt-ausschreibung zu fällen.
23 von 31 Projekten wurden angenom-men, 12 davon haben eines oder mehre-re schweizerische Partner; wobei 2 Projekte haben einen Schweizer Lead Partner. Ausserdem sind Schweizer Beobachter in vielen anderen Projekten involviert.

NORDWESTEUROPA PRO-GRAMM
Das Programmkomitee der Nordwesteuropa Program-me hat sich Mitte September in Deutschland getrof-fen. Acht Projekte wurden nach dem zweiten Pro-jektaufruf genehmigt, darunter ist ein Projekt mit Schweizer Partner. Die Fachhochschule Nordwest-schweiz beteiligt sich an dem « PHOSphorus Recove-ry from waste water FOR YOUr Life Projekt (Pho-s4You) ». Sechszehn Projekte, darunter drei mit Schweizer Beteiligung wurden für die zweite Stufe eingeladen.
Die erste Stufe der vierten Projektausschreibung findet gleichzeitig mit der zweiten Stufe des dritten Projektaufrufes statt. Die Projekte können bis 18. November 2016 eingereicht werden.

URBACT PROJEKTAUFRUF
Das Programmkomitee des URBACT Programms hat sich Anfang Oktober in Bratislava getroffen. Es wur-den sieben neue Netzwerke zu verschiedenen The-men wie Unterstützung von Kultur- und Kreativwirt-schaft, Stadterneuerungsstrategien oder Jugendar-beitslosigkeit gewählt. Weitere Informationen zu den sieben neuen Netzwerken können Sie unter dem folgenden Link aufrufen.
Das Programmkomitee hat ebenfalls entschieden, einen Aufruf für gute Beispiele im Dezember 2016 zu lancieren. Die Idee ist, einen europäischen Pool der guten städtischen Beispiele zu kreieren, die in ver-schiedenen Städte des Kontinents verstanden, adap-tiert und wiederverwendet werden können. Die Städte, welche die besten guten Beispiele präsentieren wer-den, können sich anschliessend an Transfer Netzwer-ken beteiligen, um weiteren Städte zu helfen, ihre Lösungen zu implementieren.

ESPON TARGETED ANALY-SES
Targeted Analysis Projekte- dies sind Stakeholder-ba-sierte Projektvorschläge, die von lokalen, regionalen oder nationalen Stakeholders eingereicht werden können - werden bei ESPON zweimal jährlich ausge-wählt und danach ausgeschrieben.
Die Projektvorschläge sollen Themen behandeln, die in den Stakeholder-Regionen von hoher Wichtigkeit sind, und zu denen Forschungsbedarf besteht. Gleich-zeitig sollen die geplanten Resultate für weitere Län-der brauchbar sein. Die Projekte dauern grundsätzlich ein Jahr.
Obwohl die Targeted Analysis Projekte zweimal pro Jahr selektiert werden, können Bewerbungen zu jeder Zeit eingereicht werden. Die letzte Bewerbungsrunde wurde am 19. August 2016 geschlossen. Nächstes „cut-off date“ ist der 13. Januar 2017.
Nicht nur Schweizer Stakeholder können sich an Targeted Analysis Projekten beteiligen; auch Schwei-zer Forscher/-innen oder Forschungsinstitutionen sind willkommen, sich auf die Ausschreibung eines von ESPON ausgewählten Projektes zu bewerben. Die Ausschreibungen finden einige Monate nach dem Schluss einer Bewerbungsrunde statt. Alle Ausschrei-bungen werden laufend auf der ESPON Website veröffentlicht. Auch der Newsletter des Schweizer ESPON Contact Points (ECP) informiert darüber wie auch zu anderen neuen Entwicklungen.

ESPON APPLIED RE-SEARCH- THEMEN FÜR DAS JAHR 2017 WERDEN GE-WÄHLT
ESPON Applied Research Projekte werden einmal jährlich im Dezember ausgeschrieben. Für das Jahr 2017 sind sieben neue Projekte vorgesehen.
Das Monitoring Committee hat im Juni 2016 eine Liste von 15 möglichen Themen genehmigt. Aus dieser Liste werden schlussendlich sieben Themen, die den aktuellen Europäischen Prioritäten als auch dem Forschungsbedarf am besten entsprechen, ausge-wählt und ausgeschrieben. Die übrigen Themen wer-den als Kandidaten für das Jahr 2018 berücksichtigt.
Die Ausschreibung der sieben Applied Research Projekte für das Jahr 2017 wird nach der ESPON Week in Bratislava (5.-9. Dezember 2016) lanciert. Schweizer Forscher und Forscherinnen als auch Forschungsinstitutionen sind herzlich willkommen, sich zu bewerben.

ATC- THINKING AND PLAN-NING IN AREAS OF TERRI-TORIAL COOPERATION- UP-DATE
Forscher und Forscherinnen hatten bis am 9. Septem-ber 2016 die Möglichkeit, sich zu bewerben, das von ARE (Lead Stakeholder) und Partner Stakeholdern erfolgreich eingereichten Targeted Analysis-Projekt durchzuführen.
Das Projekt startet noch 2016, die Projektdauer ist ca. ein Jahr. Neben diversen von ESPON organisierten Events sind auch zwei Veranstaltungen in der Schweiz unter Federführung des ARE geplant, um die Zwi-schen- und Schlussresultate zu diskutieren. Vorgese-hen ist ein Fachworkshop mit Expertinnen und Exper-ten im Frühling/Sommer 2017 wie auch eine Tagung nach der Veröffentlichung der Schlussresultate (vor-aussichtlich Ende 2017/Anfang 2018) für ein breiteres Publikum.
Das ARE begrüsst das Interesse an dem Projekt und wird über neue Entwicklungen als auch über Details betreffend genannter Veranstaltungen laufend infor-mieren.

THE4BEES: DIE «CO-CREATION»-WORKSHOPS
Das Projekt THE4BEES konzentriert sich auf das Energiesparpotenzial, das durch die Veränderung des Verhaltens der Nutzer von privaten und öffentlichen Gebäuden entsteht. Dazu werden innovative IT-Instru-mente verwendet. Das von Interreg Alpine Space geförderte Projekt bringt 13 Partner aus sechs Alpen-staaten zusammen.
Die entwickelten Instrumente werden in sieben Pilotre-gionen getestet. Jede Pilotregion wird einen bestimm-ten Typ von Nutzern/Nutzerinnen und Gebäuden – so-ziale Lebensräume, Schulen, Betriebsgebäuden, Verwaltungen, Geschäfte – untersuchen. Lokale und regionale Verwaltungsbehörden, Geschäftspersonen, Dienstleistungs- und Infrastrukturanbieter/innen betei-ligen sich an diesem Projekt.
Die im Rahmen des Projekts organisierten «Co-creation»-Workshops involvieren die Nutzer/Nutzerin-nen der Gebäude, als auch verschiedene Teilnehmer aus dem akademischen Bereich, aus öffentlichen Körperschaften und Unternehmen. In der Schweiz werden die Untersuchungen von der Hochschule für Technik und Architektur Freiburg geleitet. Die Pilotre-gion befindet sich im Innovationsquartier blueFACTO-RY in Freiburg.

C-TEMALP: PROJEKTSTARTGemeinsam mit elf weiteren Partnern aus fünf Alpen-ländern ist für die Schweiz die Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft HTW Chur an einem neuen Projekt im Programm Interreg Alpine Space beteiligt. C-TEMAlp verfolgt das Ziel, die Rahmenbedingungen für die grenzüberschreitende Unternehmensnachfolge in den jeweiligen Regionen zu verbessern.
Einen Schwerpunkt bildet der Aufbau gemeinsamer Serviceleistungen und eines grenzüberschreitenden Netzwerks von Experten. In einem ersten Schritt wird die Ausgangslage in den einzelnen Regionen analy-siert. Hierzu wurden rund 60 verschiedene Dienstleis-tungen der zwölf Projektpartner im Bereich Unterneh-mensnachfolge analysiert und in einem dreidimensio-nalen Schema positioniert. Die Resultate geben An-haltspunkte für die Entwicklung neuer Unterstützungs-angebote. Zusätzlich werden in den einzelnen Regio-nen so genannte Alp Cafés mit wichtigen Stakehol-dern und Experten organisiert. Dabei werden wichtige Fragen und Problemkreise der Nachfolge aus ver-schiedenen Blickwinkeln diskutiert.
An einem der ersten Alp Cafés bei der Industrie- und Handelskammer für München und Oberbayern brach-ten Prof. Dr. Frank Bau (HTW Chur) und Jörg Senn-rich (Netzwerk KMU Next) die Schweizer Perspektive ein. Das Projekt C-TEMAlp läuft noch bis Ende 2018.

INTESI - SEKTORÜBERGREI-FENDER, TERRITORIALER GOVERNANCE ANSATZ ZUR SICHERUNG DER GRUNDVER-SORGUNG
Das Alpine Space Projekt Intesi zielt unter dem Lead der SAB (Schweizerische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für die Berg-gebiete) auf eine bessere horizontale und vertikale Koor-dination von Grundversorgungsdienstleistungen ab.
Dabei sollen Vorschläge gemacht werden, wie bestehen-de Strategien und Politiken angepasst werden können, so dass sie nicht einem sektoralen sondern einem integ-rierten, territorialen Konzept entsprechen.
Im ersten Halbjahr der Projektlaufzeit wurden alpenweit SGI (Services of General Interest sprich Grundversor-gung) Strategien gesammelt, um Herausforderungen, Bedürfnisse und Potenziale hinsichtlich der Grundver-sorgung zu erheben. Gleichzeitig ist eine online Daten-bank im Aufbau, die es Interessierten ermöglicht, Abfra-gen zu SGI Strategien zu machen. Zudem sind die Part-ner aus 5 Alpenländern daran, in zehn Testgebieten quantitative und qualitative Daten zur Grundversorgung zu erheben. Das Schweizer Testgebiet umfasst 6 Ge-meinden im westlichen Teil des Bezirks Porrentruy (JU). Die SAB koordiniert dort zusammen mit dem kantonalen Service du développement territorial sämtliche Intesi Aktivitäten.
Am 23. Februar 2017 findet in Delémont die öffentliche Mid-Term Konferenz des Intesi Projektes statt. Gleichzei-tig wird der Intesi Grundversorgungs-Think Tank gegrün-det, welcher langfristig verschiedene Akteure der Grund-versorgung (Dienstleister, politische Entscheidungsträ-ger, NGOs, Fachhochschulen und Universitäten) zu einem regelmässigen Austausch zusammenbringt.

PEACE_ALPS: „POOLING ENERGY ACTION PLANS AND ENHANCING THEIR IMPLE-MENTATION IN THE ALPS„
Das Projekt PEACE_Alps hat zum Ziel, die Behörden kleiner Gemeinden bei der Umsetzung von Aktionen im Energiebereich zu unterstützen. Zu der Schweizer Pro-jektgruppe gehören Planair SA (regionale Planungs- und Beratungsbüro, zuständig für die Projektsteuerung in der Schweiz), die zwei Naturpärke Chasseral und Doubs, wobei die Kantone Jura, Neuenburg und Bern als auch der Bund das Projekt finanziell unterstützen.
Die 37 Gemeinden der Naturpärke Chasseral und Doubs wurden am 22. September 2016 zu einem Austauscha-bend rund um das Thema Energie eingeladen. Hauptziel war, einen Vorschlag zur Unterstützung der lokalen Behörden bei der Umsetzung von spezifischen nachhal-tigen Aktionen im Interesse von Region und Bevölkerung zu erarbeiten.
Der Anlass ermöglichte den Teilnehmern ihre Erfahrun-gen im Bereich Energie auszutauschen als auch an einem der drei thematischen Workshops teilzunehmen (Gebäudesanitärtechnik, Sonnenenergie und Fernhei-zung), die auf Projekten und Experimenten basierten, welche in den Gemeinden durchgeführt worden sind.
Die Gemeindevertreter haben Informationen zur techni-schen Unterstützung als auch ein individualisiertes Energieblatt inklusive Energiebilanz und Wärmekataster erhalten. Die Bilanz präsentiert das generelle Energie-profil einer Gemeinde und die lokalen erneuerbaren Ressourcen. Die Wärmekataster zeigen in einer graphi-schen Form die Schlüsselpunkte ihrer Energieversor-gung und ihre Potentiale.
Das Projekt PEACE_Alps sieht vielseitige Aktivitäten vor. Gemeinden, die an der Umsetzung teilnehmen möchten, werden mehrere Stunden von einer kostenlo-sen Expertenberatung profitieren können.

GRETA: “NEAR-SURFACE GEOTHERMAL RESOURCES IN THE TERRITORY OF THE ALPINE SPACE”
Zunehmend wird die oberflächennahe Geothermie in alpinen Regionen zum Heizen und Kühlen von Gebäu-den genutzt. Neben der standardisierten Nutzung von Erwärme Sonden findet sich in alpinen Tälern ein unaus-geschöpftes Potential bei der Nutzung von Grundwasser als Energiequelle und Energiespeicher. Produktive Grundwasserleiter mit typischerweise komplexem geolo-gischem Aufbau, grossräumlichen Strukturen werden jedoch häufig von der geothermischen Nutzung ausge-spart.
Speziell im alpinen Raum mit komplexen Grundwasser-verhältnissen und steiler Topographie ist die direkte Nutzung von Grundwasser (über offene Systeme bzw. Brunnen) sehr anspruchsvoll. Hier sollen für ein Pilotge-biet in der Region Davos-Landwassertal, Werkzeuge erstellt werden, um speziell gespannte Grundwasserver-hältnisse, Locker-/Festgesteins-Interaktionen und topo-graphisch kontrollierte Untergrundtemperaturen räum-lich-Zeitlich abzubilden.
Das Pilotprojekt, das in Zusammenarbeit der For-schungsgruppe Angewandte und Umweltgeologie der Universität Basel, der Firma Geotest AG, der Gemeinde Davos und dem Amt für Natur und Umwelt (GR) hat zum Ziel, geothermische Potentiale in der Region Davos herauszuarbeiten und zu quantifizieren, um eine opti-mierte Nutzung von geschlossenen und offenen Syste-men zu erreichen.
Modellbasiert werden Nutzungsszenarien für typische alpine Grundwasservorkommen erarbeitet und compu-tergestützt optimiert. Hier liegt ein Hauptaugenmerk auf der saisonalen Energiespeicherung abgestimmt auf den räumlichen Bedingungen und Möglichkeiten vor Ort.

Die Alpenkonvention ist ein völkerrechtlicher Vertrag zum Schutz und zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung der Al-pen. In der Schweiz betreut das ARE die Konvention als federführendes Amt.

XIV. ALPENKONFERENZ IN GRASSAU (DE)
Am 13. Oktober hat in Grassau die XIV. Alpenkonfe-renz stattgefunden. Die Schweiz wurde von Frau Maria Lezzi, Direktorin des Bundesamtes für Raum-entwicklung ARE vertreten.
An der XIV. Alpenkonferenz standen verschiedene Themen im Fokus. Unter anderem wurden die The-men grüne Wirtschaft in den Alpen, die Entwicklungen im Rahmen des EUSALP-Programmes und alpine Schutzgebiete besprochen. Ausserdem wurde der neue Alpenzustandsbericht vorgestellt. Der Bericht zeigt die aktuelle Situation, Chancen und Hindernisse, als auch gute Beispiele im Bereich Nachhaltiges Wirtschaften im Alpenraum.
Als Nächstes geht die Präsidentschaft der Alpenkon-vention an Österreich über. Österreich will für seine Präsidentschaftsdauer die Themen Verkehr und Mobi-lität, Berglandwirtschaft und Bergwald, Naturschutz, Wasser, Klimawandel, Energie und Naturgefahren als auch die Rolle der Frau in Bergregionen in den Vor-dergrund stellen.

NEUE PUBLIKATION GIBT EI-NEN ÜBERBLICK ÜBER DIE ADOPTIERTEN ETZ- PRO-GRAMME
Der Regionale Entwicklung-Ausschuss (REGI-Aus-schuss) des Europäischen Parlaments hat eine Analy-se der neuen Europäischen Territorialen Zusammen-arbeit Programme (ETZ-Programme) beantragt. Die Studie untersucht ETZ-Programme in der Programm-periode 2014–2020, um einen Überblick über neue Strukturen, Änderungen und Massnahmen zu geben.
Die Studie, die auf einer Analyse der Kooperations-programme als auch auf Interviews mit Verwaltungs-behörden beruht, gibt eine Einschätzung darüber, inwieweit die verschiedenen Programme die Möglich-keiten, welche die neue ETZ-Regulation anbietet, genutzt haben. Besonders fokussiert sich die Studie auf Punkte, wie Flexibilität in Bezug auf thematische Einschränkungen, Verbindungen zwischen Investiti-onsprioritäten und ETZ-Ziele, Implementierung und Managementstrukturen, Beziehungen zu makroregio-nalen Strategien als auch Herausforderungen für die äussersten Regionen Europas.
Ein Vergleich zu der früheren Programmperiode 2007–2013 wurde auch berücksichtigt. Die erreichten Schlussfolgerungen sind sehr unterschiedlich und zeigen Herausforderungen, mit denen Verwaltungsbe-hörden konfrontiert waren. Es wurde auch festgestellt, dass die Mehrheit dieser Herausforderungen erfolg-
reich angegangen wurde.
Anhand der Analyse werden auch verschiedene Emp-fehlungen für eine zukünftige Verbesserung gemacht.

INNOSQUARE is a platform for technology and innovation. Itconstitutes an entrepreneurial and innovative environmentthrough interactions with business and universities and keycompetences development. INNOSQUARE offers three types ofservices: 1) Services for businesses based on technology; 2)Development of technological Competence Centres inpartnership with public-private sectors sharing R&D resourcesand providing administrative support; 3) Development of 3Clusters with the involvement of Cluster Managers providingadministrative support for about 300 companies.INNOSQUARE is a non-profit association dependent of theHES-SO//FR HEIA-FR and supported by the New Regional Policyof the canton of Fribourg.

It has initiated and run more than 529 “ClusterCooperation Projects” involving 2135 companies within the last17 years. It runs in average 30 EU-funded projects annually. Itinitiates new business models and approaches in future topicssuch as Advanced Manufacturing (AVM) (evaluation ofcompanies readiness level in the field of AVM;developing/offering trainings to make companies AVM ready;initiating “Experience Exchange Groups” with companies).

ClusterAgentur Baden-Württemberg (CABW), hosted byVDI/VDE-IT supports 110 cluster initiatives inBaden-Württemberg in different fields, e. g. facilitatetechnology transfer and cross-sectoral innovation betweencluster initiatives. Supporting cluster managers to provide newservices to initiative cross-sectoral innovations among SME aswell as helping them going international are main tasks of theCABW. In addition, CABW is the operational arm of the Ministryfor Economy, and responsible for the implementation of RIS3.Among others, CABW is in charge to initiative policy learnings,policy benchmarking and stress testing of RIS3 with selectedEuropean regions.

Veneto Region-RIE Dept is the regional authority devoted to thecoordination of research, economic development, innovationand energy policies and practices in the Veneto Region. It is alsoresponsible for the development and implementation of S3 andfor the Regional Law 13/2014 promoting cluster development.VR deals with more than 400.000 SMEs and officially recognised17 industrial districts in the main manufacturing sectors. In2015, a new procedure aiming to give the seal of regionalinnovative networks have been launched and is today inprogress. These networks will represent one of the main toolsin the implementation of S3 and will constitute the linkage withinternational activities to be tested in this proposal.

Poly4EmI platform entails clusters, competence and technologycenters active in pulp and paper, wood, automotive, ICT, healthand polymers sectors. It promotes transition to bio-economythrough sectors cross-fertilization, digitalization of value chainsand S3. Anteja is a host of the Poly4EmI initiative, a successor ofthe Poly4EmI EU flagship project on new policy modelssupporting emerging industries through clusters and smartspecialization, led by the Ministry of Science, Education andSports in Slovenia. Anteja ensures that results of the projects,e.g. new policy tools, analysis, cases studies, projects ideas,cluster coaching and mentoring schemes, S3 will be furtherdeveloped and will build new cross-regional value chains.

Actively involved in all WPs due to its extensive experience, itleads WP T1 by further developing the stress testing tool andcoordinates the joint transnational cluster action plan. It alsocontributes as pilot cluster in WPT3.

As Salzburg’s provincial development agency, ITG coordinatesand implements the technology-, innovation-related policies ofthe regional government especially through SME support, SMECluster Networks (S3-based) and knowledge/ technologytransfer into SMEs. It provides know-how in the realization ofinnovative projects and business creation, fosters collaboration,activates regional hubs and provides consulting services.Businesses are accompanied throughout their entireinnovation processes. New methods are introduced viaworkshops or one-to-one meetings. ITG is a nonprofitorganization and no economic activities are performed on themarket.

Proplast, management entity for the New Materials InnovationCluster, is a technological cluster known at European level andsilver labelled and recognised in 2009 as Innovation Clusterfrom the Piedmont Region. It works mainly in the plastic field.The cluster offers excellent R&D and training services onpolymeric materials as well as on process and productengineering services. It has a wide range of contacts withdifferent countries, and develops projects and R&D activities instrict relation with some similar international clusters (bothtechnical research project and more strategic and policy-relatedprojects). This cluster will be used as one of the pilot clustersfor the project.
What is the partner's role and responsibility in the project?
Proplast participates to all WPs and expecially to the S3 ModelBased Definition for Cluster Innovation (cluster level) and in theactivity of testing the model on pilot clusters as co-leader of theaction.

For Alcotra, we led one project in the past and participated intwo other related to ecodesign topic and networking amongclusters. In the AS framework, we led ALPlastics, andparticipated to another project in the same area recently.

The institution operates in Lombardy, aggregating andrepresenting business and research world. The cluster contributes tothe project with the competences of the School of Managementof Università Bocconi . The School’s commitment to researchand education has enabled it to contribute significantly to thedevelopment of many industries, both in Italy and abroad. TheCluster contributes with Lombardy region, Research, InnovationUnit, the general lines of his S3 and the related workprogramme.

Autonomous Province of Trento is the regional authority incharge of the definition and implementation of the S3. Itencourages an active multilevel governance participation oflocal stakeholders in its process of implementation andmonitoring. PAT is also responsible for the R&I policies of theterritory, and is member of four national technological clusters.It aims to coordinate the regional research centres andfoundations, encouraging the innovation and experimentationof the ecosystem. In addition, PAT is directly involved in theimplementation of the EUSALP Strategy, Leader of ActionGroup 3 and Participant of AG1.
What is the partner's role and responsibility in the project?
PAT contributes to all WPs, especially to WP T1, at the policylevel. With HIT, it tests the benchmarking and the S3 modeldefinition with a pilot cluster. PAT transfers the results toEGTC/Euregio and EUSALP's AG.

HIT is a nonprofit corporate consortium between the Universityof Trento, Bruno Kessler Foundation, Edmund MachFoundation and Trentino Sviluppo. HIT promotes technologytransfer and innovation of the Trentino region in order to fosterlocal business innovation and development. HIT is core partnerof the EIT Raw Materials, linked party to EIT Digital, member ofNational technology clusters and active in several EU projectsand European Innovation Partnerships. HIT contributes to thedeployment of the RIS3 of the Autonomous Province of Trentopromoting research/industrial joint ventures and strategicpartnerships, fostering business incubation and acceleration,and attracting investment opportunities in the region.
What is the partner's role and responsibility in the project?
HIT leads by T2 coordinating the definition of the RIS3-basedinnovation model. HIT participates to all other WPs in synergywith PAT for regional activities, and it disseminates resultsthrough its network of national clusters, EIT and the EC.

HIT is core partner of the EIT Raw Materials and partner of EITDigital, partner of EU FP7 project FINODEX and H2020 Startify7,Espresso, Unify IoT and EC contractor for the secretariat of theEC Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform.

Authority at Regional level with legislative power, LOMB cancooperate in policy addressing capacity of the partners. It has aspecific institutional role in Italy in ruling innovation andresearch supports to clusters and enterprises according to EUand National regulations. The Alpine Macroregion Office hasacquired specific competences in setting up EU Strategies, e.g.the EUSALP and EUSAIR, and finding strategic leverage projectslike those in Innovation and Research. In particular, theconstruction of the EUSALP Strategy and the Mountaingovernance in Lombardy, are both relevant for establishingbenchmarks and monitoring innovation policies in the Alpineregion.
What is the partner's role and responsibility in the project?
LOMB, in collaboration with its inner Department forInnovation, participates to all WPs with a focus on WP T2 andT3. It pursues the objective to promote innovation throughcluster’s cooperation, and to sustain the development in alpineand deprived areas.

BayFOR is a partner institution in theBavarian Research and Innovation Agency and is supported bythe Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts.BayFOR is partner of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) andcontributes to an active network of Bavarian actors, to usescientific resources efficiently and to successfully present themat the European level. GODCP is the coordinator of Slovenian smart specialisationstrategy (S4): it aims to conduct the entrepreneurial discoveryprocess, to prepare the strategy document, and to present itfor the coordination of its implementation within thegovernment as well as within the stakeholders. S4 foreseesintroduction of Strategic Research and Innovation Partnershipsas an advanced form of clusters.
What is the partner's role and responsibility in the project? GODCP contributes to all WPs with a focus on WPs dedicated toS3 (good practice exchanges, cluster management).
