By order of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum, BTG Expo GmbH was appointed as the responsible logistics provider for the exhibition „Aviation. Morning of a New Era. Russia 1910-1935 „

Up until 27th March visitors to the famous Moscow VDNH site will have the opportunity of viewing a wide selection of vintage aircraft and engines in pavilion #67. The exhibi-tion itself is dedicated to the Russian and Soviet Aviation Industry of the early 20th cen-tury and is divided into four sections.

In January 2016 BTG Ulus-lararasi Nakliyat Ticaret A.S, Istanbul, the Turkish subsi-diary company of BTG Inter-nationale Spedition GmbH, opened its first branch office in Izmir - the third largest city in Turkey with a population of 4.1 million.

As of 1st February 2016 BTG Internationale Spedition GmbH’s branch office in Ol-ching began working with a new partner in Poland.

Since it started operating in 1989, Röhlig Suus Logistics S.A. has been growing dy-namically and today has 18 branch offices in Poland, em-ploying a staff of over 800 people and managing over 100.000 m² in logistics space.

Our partner operates their own nationwide 24-hour dis-tribution network in Poland, to which we are now con-nected with our daily groupa-ge departures from Olching.

Rail transport Europe - China

Container transports by rail between Europe and China - the alternative to air and sea freight!

Since the middle of 2015 BTG has been offering its custo-mers a new service in freight transport to and from Chi-na. In addition to air and sea freight, we can offer our cu-stomers in China and Europe complete transport solutions by rail.

In September 2015 BTG - to-gether with our longstanding Chinese partner SINOTRANS - handled its first own com-plete freight train with 45 containers from Lanzhou to Hamburg and back. On 21st September 2015, the first train from Hamburg was seen off with a formal ceremony, which was attended by the Mayor of Lanzhou and senior members of the executive ma-nagement of SINOTRANS.

No fear of big challenges!

How do you transport two slag pot carriers, which are each 11.98 meters long, 7.73 meters wide and 4.35 meters high and weigh a total of ap-prox. 178 to from Ulm to So-har in Oman?

This was the question we - to-gether with our long-standing customer, KAMAG Transport-technik in Ulm - were faced with.

Due to the significant overall dimensions of the vehicles, the only solution was to di-sassemble them before trans-port.

The various items - a total of 19 packages - were delivered by low loader from Ulm to the packing shed in Hamburg, where - under the direction of BTG - they were expertly loa-ded onto eight 40’ flat racks

and were shipped via Jeddah / Saudi Arabien to the port of Sohar / Oman for a local steel-works company.

So, we have no fear of big challenges! We can find a so-lution for virtually any trans-port problem!

In February of this year, BTG Plochingen’s team was de-lighted to welcome visitors from Barcelona.

José Javier Hernandez and Pia Cadena had come from SEITRANS, Barcelona to dis-cuss with their colleagues in

Plochingen how to further develop business in the Spa-nish Market, which after years of crisis has now finally been gaining more and more in im-portance.

BTG Plochingen can look back on almost 30 years of expe-rience in the Spanish Market and many of the long-term employees have a very good

knowledge of the Spanish language and of the country and its people. Spanish langu-age skills even play a part in the selection process of the trainees in Plochingen.

Seitrans, which was founded in 1990 and belongs to the

well-known „Ita-lsempione Group“ (founded 1955), has its core com-petence in Europe-an general cargo (68%), followed by sea freight (27%), logistics and air freight. Both sales and consignment volumes have incre-asingly grown over

Just in time for the turn of the year numerous „old“ trucks of the EURO 4 + 5 classification were replaced by new and more modern truck units under classifica-tion EURO 6.

In addition to the general in-crease in efficiency attained through the new road trac-tor units (motors + aerody-namics), the lower pollutant emissions achieved through the exclusive use of the Ad-Blue technology has also been a significant factor in deciding to renew our trailer fleet. This being the only way to reach the ambitious environmental and pollution reduction tar-gets of the BTG Group.

These measures have been completed by the additional purchase of bespoke new semi-trailers. By way of exam-ple, here you can see a brand new curtain-side trailer with coil well, sliding roof and a

In February 2016, BTG Messe-Spedition GmbH was entrusted with the move-ment of some very special cargo.

The highlight was a beautiful oil on canvas painting from the 18th century, which chan-ged owners at a prestigious German auction house.

The proud new owner nee-ded assistance with the pro-fessional art packing and safe transport of his precious art-work, and with BTG Messe-Spedition GmbH, he found just the right partner.

The connoisseur owning the painting now, commented:
