DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst German Academic Exchange Service Johann Gottfried Herder-Programm

Das Johann Gottfried Herder-Programm unterstützt und vermittelt den Einsatz von im Ruhestand befindlichen Hochschullehrern deutscher Hochschulen sowie in Ausnahmefällen Führungskräfte im Ruhestand aus Wirtschaft und Verwaltung an Hochschulen im Ausland. Die geförderten Herder-Dozentinnen und Herder-Dozenten geben wichtige Impulse zur Vernetzung ihrer Gastuniversität mit Hochschulen in Deutschland, zur Erneuerung und Modernisierung des Lehrangebots der Gastuniversität und vermitteln zudem deutsche Sprache und Wissenschaftskultur im Ausland.

Die Förderung erfolgt semesterweise, Verlängerungen sind möglich.

Leistungen: Die Dozentinnen und Dozenten erhalten während ihres Aufenthaltes an der Gasthochschule ein monatliches Auslandstage- und Übernachtungsgeld, eine Reisekostenpauschale, eine Sachmittelpauschale sowie eine Kranken-, Unfall- und Privathaftpflichtversicherung. Hochschullehrer*in Master of Science / Promotion erwünscht Informatik Die Kirgisisch-Deutsche Fakultät für Informatik (KGFI) wurde 2004 an der Kirgisischen Staatlichen Universität für Bauwesen, Transportwesen und Architektur (KSUCTA) gegründet, die seit 2003 in enger Kooperation mit der Westsächsischen Hochschule Zwickau steht. 2017 wurde sie durch die Gründung des Deutschen-Kirgisischen Instituts für Angewandte Informatik (INAI.KG) erweitert. „Economics and Business Administration“ in cooperation with the Goethe University Frankfurt as well as a Business Administration Master Programme with the University of Leipzig as partner university. The guest lecturer will participate in teaching and research activities e.g. „Measuring and comparing the performance by cities in Vietnam and Germany“ and „Using micro-household surveys to analyzing aspects on the Vietnamese society in the Renewal era“ at the faculty. Other activities to participate during the guest lectureship can be „Portfolio Management“ and „Development Finance“. A special emphasis is put on the field of research.

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is a Vietnamese state university founded in 2008 based on the bilateral academic cooperation between Vietnam and Germany. The guest lecturer shall participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, founded in 2015. It offers the B.Sc.-Programme Mechanical Engineering that combines basic engineering sciences with fundamental natural sciences and mathematics. Students choose between the two majors „Engineering Design and Automation“ and „Energy and Process Engineering“. Partner universities to this programme are the Ruhr-University Bochum and the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. With a background in Mechanical Engineering Design and Manufacturing the guest lecturer will provide corresponding lectures as well as transfer didactical knowledge in the field of teaching. In addition he/she shall support consulting activities outside the university. The guest lecturer shall participate in thesis supervision for the M.Sc. programme „Global Production Engineering and Management“ which is offered in cooperation with the TU Berlin as well as give support to improve the curriculum for the „Foundation Year“ (university preparatory course).

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is a Vietnamese state university founded in 2008 based on the bilateral academic cooperation between Vietnam and Germany. The Master Programme in Mechatronics and Sensor Systems at the VGU is in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe since 2010. Examples for teaching subjects and research areas at the Department of Mechatronics and Sensor Systems Technology are Automation, Robotics, Sensor Technology, Control Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Research projects to support by the guest lecturer are Application of Wireless Sensor Network in Crop Harvesting and the Online Monitoring System for Water and Wastewater. Further tasks to fulfil include consulting outside activities with industry, improvement of curricula for the next intake, participation in the committee of lecturer recruitment and marketing activity for student recruitment.

The National University of Civil Engineering was founded in 1966 with the mission to contribute to the national industrialization, modernization and international integration. Since its foundation in 1969 the Faculty of Construction Economics has been constantly developing education and training at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The guest lecturer will be employed at the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management to teach the skills needed to manage residential, commercial and industrial projects. Therefore he/she possesses expertise in the various areas of large-scale building and civil-engineering projects, overseeing the building process from design to development, construction and operation. During the 2-month lectureship it is expected from the guest lecturer to teach 2 to 3 modules from the following:
