‘Die Arche’ is a Christian children‘s andyouth project which was founded in 1995by Pastor Bernd Siggelkow in Berlin.
Since that time Die Arche has beenworking for Germany‘s children:
• AGAINST the material and emotionalimpacts of child poverty,
• FOR more equal opportunities,regardless of social and culturalbackground.
Children belong at the heart of our society.The only way to achieve that is through ashared commitment.
For this reason Die Arche networkswith partners from social servicesand schools and alongsideeconomic and political actors.

More than 4.5 million children in Germany are living in fi nancial and in many cases also emotional poverty. Their opportunities for development and education are under threat. Many of them lack self-esteem and a belief in their own future.
Our motto is:
