Technical Capacity

The existing runway system allows:

• 43 departures or

• 43 arrivals or

• 72 flight movements per hour

The capacity equals 1.6 runways.


ConclusionsWithout increasing the capacities:

• by 2007 latest

amount of arrivals will exceed the existing capacity during peak hours (increasing amount of delays).

• by 2010 latestthe total volume of traffic will fall below existing

quality standards.
