Polyps are seen in 75% of patients with autoimmune gastritis: - Hyperplastic polyps account for 77%, - Oxyntic gland pseudopolyps for 11% - Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs, carcinoids) are found in 19% The remaining lesions are - adenomas (9%), - adenocarcinomas (5%) and - malignant lymphomas (1%)
