Wissenstransfer - eine AuswahlWir möchten unserer gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung nachkom-

men und unterstützen den Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesell-

schaft. Dabei stellen wir unser Wissen gesellschaftlichen Akteuren,

der Politik sowie der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung. Aus dem Jahr 2019

möchten wir Ihnen diese ausgewählte Transferaktivitäten vorstellen

DataDay, 17.01.2019 , GESIS Köln. Eintägiger Data Science Work-

shop für Daten- und Wissenschaftsjournalist*innen. Bei der ersten

Ausgabe des von Sophie Zervos organisierten Transferformats stell-

ten Referent*innen aus den Forschungsdatenzentren die GESIS-

Datensätze zu relevanten Themen wie Bildung, Wahlen und politi-

schen Einstellungen vor. Gemeinsam mit 16 Journalist*innen, unter

anderem von Spiegel-Online, dpa, WDR Quarks, Deutschlandfunk,

Bayrischem Rundfunk, ntv.de und dem Science Media Center ging

es um die Frage, wie der korrekte Umgang mit Forschungsdaten die

journalistische Praxis bereichern kann.

Bundestagsfraktion Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen: "Genderforschung

stärken - Politik und Wissenschaft für Wissenschaftsfreiheit".

Hannover. Strategieworkshop mit dem Vorstand der Bundeskonfe-

renz der Frauen- und Gleichstellungsbeauftragten (bukof).

„Zukunft entwickeln – Europa gestalten“, Diskussionsforum im

Rahmen der Themenwoche „Europa“ der Kölner Wissenschafts-

runde (KWR), 22.05.2019, GESIS Köln. Beteiligt waren neben GESIS

die Cologne Business School, das Max-Planck-Institut für Gesell-

schaftsforschung und die Universität zu Köln. GESIS informierte

unter anderem über das Projekt Solikris, zu Wort kamen aber auch

Kölner Jugendliche. Moderation Fritz Lietsch, forum Nachhaltig Wirt-

schaften.

politische Bildung in Bonn.

„Leibniz im Bundestag“ (LiB), 05.06.2019, Berlin. Sabina Haveric:

„Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz aus soziologischer Perspektive“,

Gespräch mit der Abgeordneten Antje Leszius (CDU). Die Leibniz-

Gemeinschaft organisiert jährlich die Veranstaltung „Leibniz im Bun-

destag“ (LiB), bei der Mitglieder des Deutschen Bundestages die

Möglichkeit erhalten, sich im Austausch mit Expert*innen der Leibniz-

Institute über zentrale gesellschafts- und forschungsrelevante Fragen

und Entwicklungen zu beraten. GESIS reicht jährlich verschiedene

Vorschläge ein, um den MdBs wissenschaftliche Expertise zur Ver-

fügung zu stellen und mit ihnen in einen Dialog zu treten.

Ingvill C. Mochmann. Teilnahme an zwei Paneldiskussionen zum

Thema „Children born of War“ im Rahmen der Vorführung des

Dokumentarfilms „Wars don’t end“ im norwegischen Parlament,

22.02.2019, und in den nordischen Botschaften in Berlin, 27.06.2019,

sowie zwei Vorträge bei den Forschungstagen am Kriegsmuseum in

Narvik, 25.09.2019.

„Geliebt & Geächtet – Kinder des Krieges“: Interview mit Ingvill C.

Mochmann für den Dokumentarfilm der Gesellschaft für bedrohte

Völker. Der Film wurde im August in mehreren deutschen Städten

gezeigt.

Podiumsdiskussion: „Rechtliche Herausforderungen von Web-

Scraping im Data Science Kontext“, 17.09.2019, Universität

Mannheim. Fabian Flöck und Arnim Bleier von GESIS diskutierten

mit den Rechtsexperten Paul Vogel (Universität Würzburg) und

Sebastian Golla (Universität Mainz), Moderation Sophie Zervos,

GESIS.

Johannes Breuer, 26.10.2019. Als Interviewpartner zu Gast im

Deutschlandfunk in der Sendung „Streitkultur“ zum Thema

„Nutzung und Wirkung von Computerspielen“.

als einen klugen Kopf“, Berlin. Ausgerichtet durch den Leibniz-For-

Beatrice Rammstedt, 28.10.2019. „Charakter: eine Frage der Per-

sönlichkeit“. Teilnahme an einer Podiumsdiskussion im Rahmen des

City Science Talk, Wien. Die Veranstaltung wurde aufgezeichnet und

am 13.11.2019 im Kultur-Radiosender Ö1 gesendet.

Simone Haasler & Sophie Zervos, 04.11.2019 (Organisation): „RRI

in the Research and Innovation Community of the Green Village at

TU Delft (RRI Green Village)“, GESIS Köln. Workshop im Rahmen des

NewHoRRIzon Social Lab „Research Infrastructures, including

e-Infrastructures“ in Kooperation mit der TU Delft (NL) und dem

Zentrum für Soziale Innovation (AT).

„Leibniz im Landtag“ (LiL), 14.11.2019, Düsseldorf. Für GESIS

boten drei Forschende Gespräche an: Ingvill C. Mochmann zum The-

ma „Children Born of War – Stigma, Integration, Sicherheit“, Keith E.

Smith zum Thema „Public Opinion on Climate Change“ sowie Pascal

Siegers zum Thema „Rechtspopulistisches Wahlverhalten: Ursachen

und mögliche Maßnahmen“, der Gespräche mit insgesamt sechs

Abgeordneten führte. LiL wurde 2008 von Sophie Zervos, GESIS,

gemeinsam mit den anderen Leibniz-Instituten aus NRW als Dialog-

forum für Abgeordnete des Landtags NRW ins Leben gerufen.
