Die Positionskontrolle an Stellantriebenist in der chemischen Industrie undPetrochemie, aber auch in der Lebens-mittelindustrie von großer Bedeutung.Für die Erfassung der Ventilstellungen sindLösungen im Aufbaugehäuse noch ammeisten verbreitet. Ein wichtiger Grunddafür ist sicherlich der Schutz vor Umwelt-einflüssen, den das Gehäuse den Sensorenund beweglichen Teilen bietet. Vorteilhaftsind auch die Klemmenleisten und dieMöglichkeit, die Ventilansteuerung interndurchzuschleifen. Zudem ist im Aufbau-gehäuse ausreichend Platz für dieIntegration zusätzlicher Komponenten(z. B. Bustechnologie).Lösungen im Aufbaugehäuse haben aberauch gravierende Nachteile. Diese fangenbei der Vielfalt der Einzelteile an, die sich

logischerweise auch auf den Preis aus-wirkt. Schlimmer noch ist, dass dieMechanik sich mit der Zeit wieder verstellt.Außerdem ist es im Störfall besondershinderlich, dass die optische Anzeige derVentilstellung auch bei normaler Verschmut-zung nur schwer abgelesen werden kann.

Furtheradvantages are the terminal strip and thepossibilty of implementing an internalloop-through arrangement of the valvecontrol.
