Motivation behind EUREKAs initiative
• propose EUREKA as a collaboration tool to support cross-border co-operative projects
• count on EUREKAs 30 years experience• complement the efforts in the basic
research sector by industrial research• make use of a variable geometry within
the EUREKA network to launch a multilateral call
• AT, BG, HR, CZ, DE, HU, RO, RS, SK have signalized to support participants by public funding

Multilateral Call 2015
• the EUREKA Danube Region countries have agreed to launch a multilateral call in 2015
• tentative time planning:• call opening March
9, 2015• deadline project outlines April 30, 2015• submission deadline June 17, 2015
• EUREKA sees the common call as an opportunity to promote industrial R&D projects in the Danube Region

Planned Procedure
• The check and the evaluation of applications are organised by the EUREKA national offices/national funding bodies
• If all involved E! countries have evaluated positively, the project is eligible for the EUREKA label (E! Meeting in 10/15)
• Projects could start from late 2015

Dissemination
• Announcement via the EUREKA communication channels (website, EUREKA news, eZine, LinkedIn, …)
• Similar at national level
• for relevant events in the first half of 2015, the possibility to organize a matchmaking will be checked
