Kurzbeschreibung

Der V-Ring ist eine vollgummielastische Wellendichtung, die auf eine Welle mon-tiert gegen eine feststehende Gegenlauf-fläche abdichtet. Die Dichtung rotiert mit der Welle.

Einsatzgrenzen

Druck: für drucklosen Betrieb ausgelegt

Temperatur: NBR: -40 bis +100° C FKM: -20 bis +200 ° C

Umfangsgeschwindigkeit (m/s): NBR: ≤ 8; axial gesichert ab ≥ 8; radial gesichert ab ≥ 12 FKM: ≤ 6,5; axial gesichert ab ≥ 6,5; radial gesichert ab ≥ 10

Wirkungsweise

Der V-Ring wird mit Untermaß auf die Welle aufgezogen und dreht mit der Welle mit. Die flexible Dichtlippe liegt an der Dichtfläche an und gleicht Toleranzen oder Winkelabweichungen aus. Die Dichtlippe verhindert das Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und schützt gegen Staub von außen.

Short description

The V-Ring is a solid rubber eleastic shaft seal that, when mounted onto a shaft, seals against a fixed running counter sur-face. The seal rotates with the shaft.

Principle of operation

The V-Ring is fitted onto the shaft with undersize and rotates with the shaft. The flexible sealing lip is flush against the sea-ling surface compensating any tolerances or angular deviations. The flexible sealing lip prevents liquid ingress and protects against dust from outside.

Limits of use

Pressure: designed for pressureless operation

Temperature: NBR: -40 up to +100 °C FPM: -20 up to +200 °C

Peripheral speed (m/s): NBR: ≤ 8; axially secured from ≥ 8; radially secured from ≥ 12 FKM: ≤ 6.5; axially secured from ≥ 6.5; radially secured from ≥ 10
