Grundlage des Artikels war eine repräsentative Umfrage des Institutes für angewandte Sozialwissenschaft (in-fas). Danach war für 72 Prozent der Be-fragten das Betriebsklima der wichtigste Faktor für die Berufszufriedenheit, das po-sitive Umfeld rangierte also noch vor der Bezahlung.Was aber sind die Bedingungen, damit sich Mitarbeiter in ihrem Job wohl fühlen? Und wie kann man diese Empfindungen beein-flussen und steuern? Eine Arbeitsumgebung, in der Menschlich-keit neben Sach- und Inhaltsfragen glei-chermassen bewertet wird, zeichnet sich durch ein gutes Betriebsklima mit einher-gehender, hoher Leistungsbereitschaft aus.Wir alle spüren, dass sich die heutige Ar-beitswelt in einem rasanten Tempo verän-dert. Einmal Erlerntes ist in der Regel nicht mehr für ein ganzes Berufsleben ausrei-

chend. Neben speziellem Fachwissen wer-den daher überfachliche Qualifikationen immer gefragter und wichtiger. Das gilt für Führungskräfte, zunehmend aber auch für qualifizierte Mitarbeiter.

Soziale Kompetenz ist gefragt.Einfühlungsvermögen, Kommunikations-geschick, Kooperationstalent, Konfliktfä-higkeit, Toleranz – soziale Kompetenz hat viele verschiedenen Facetten. Konflikt als Chanceheisst: Ein Konflikt ist keine Katastrophe. Konflikte sind unvermeidbar und bieten die Chance zur Weiterentwicklung. Pro-bleme können oft unkonventionell gelöst werden. In einer Konfliktsituation sprechen wir unterschiedliche Positionen zukunftso-rientiert an und üben so den konstruktiven Umgang damit.

Toleranzheisst: Wir erkennen Vorurteile und bauen sie ab, akzeptieren Verschiedenartigkeiten und erkennen die Vorteile darin. Dazu ge-hört, sowohl die eigene Position zu be-stimmen und anderen zu vermitteln, als auch die Haltung anderer zu achten.
