POM POMPoliossimetilene (POM) con una percen-tuale di fibre di vetro del 30% è idoneoper temperature sino a 60°C e pressionisino a 12 bar. Viene impiegato per iltrasporto di acqua, soluzioni saline mi-nerali, liquidi alcalini, carburantiparaffinati ed olii minerali. Nel caso diPOM si tratta di un co-polimero diacetato termoplastico che può essere la-vorato senza problemi su tutti i macchi-nari comunemente in uso. Componentiin POM si contra-ddistinguono per leloro proprietà essenziali per pompe cen-trifughe: elevati valori di plasticità, du-rezza, stabilità dimensionale. Grazie al-l’elevata durezza ed al basso coefficiented’attrito si ha un ottimo comportamentoall’abrasione ed una buona resistenzaall’usura contro erosione da fluido edusura da getto. L’aggiunta di fibre divetro migliora ulteriormente la qualitàpropria del POM e si ottiene così unmateriale parti-colarmente idoneo per iltrasporto di liquidi inquinati.

Designed for the deliveryof water, mineral salt solutions, alkalineliquids, parafined fuels and mineral oils.POM is an acetate-copolymer and a ther-moplastic which can easily be processedusing conventional machinery. Althoughparts made of POM focus on the quali-ties that are essential for centrifugalpumps, it is the addition to glass fibrewhich improves the original quality andgives a material which is resistant againsterosion and abrasion when deliveringcontaminated liquids.

Teile aus POM zeichnen sichdurch für Kreiselpumpen lebenswichtigeEigenschaften aus – hohe Zähigkeits-werte, Härte, Formbeständigkeit. Diehohe Härte und der niedere Reibungs-koeffizient ergeben ein sehr günstigesAbriebverhalten und eine gute Verschleiß-festigkeit gegen Strömungs- und Strahl-verschleiß. Der Zusatz von Glaskugelnverbessert die ursprüngliche Eigenschaftvon POM und ergibt ein Material, dashervorragend geeignet ist für die Förde-rung von verunreinigten Flüssigkeiten.

It is ideal for the delivery ofhigly aggresive liquids.PPS is resistant toalkalis, organic and inorganic acids,strong solvents and hydrocarbons. How-ever, it is not resistant to chloroform, aquaregia and chlorosulphonic acid and it isonly partly resistant to certain alcohols,gasolines, amines, concen-trated chro-mic and nitric acids, trichlorethylene,acetic acid and hydrofluoric acid. PPS isa part-cristaline, aromatic thermoplasticwith a very stable chemical structure dueto the cristallinity. Although PPS is anexceptional material, with the additionalof glass fibre a material is produced withfeatures:

Esist nicht beständig gegen Chloroform,Scheidewasser und Chlorsulfonsäure undes ist nur bedingt brauchbar bei bestimm-ten Alkoholen, Benzinen, Aminen sowiekonzentrierter Chromsäure und Salpe-tersäure, Trichlorethylen, Essigsäure undFlusssäure. PPS ist ein teilkristalliner, aro-matischer Thermoplast mit stabilem che-mischem Aufbau und besonderen her-ausragenden Eigenschaften:

Toutefois il ne résiste pas au chloro-forme, à l’eau forte et à l’acidechlorosulfonique et requiert certainesprécautions d’emploi dans le cas d’alco-ols, d’essences, d’amines ainsi que de l’an-hydride chromique concentré et de l’acidenitrique, du trichloréthylène, de l’acideacétique et de l’acide fluorhydrique.LePPS est un thermoplastique aromatiquesemi-cristalin présentant une structurechimique stable et des propriétés parti-culières hors du commun:
