Zum diesjährigen Salone del Mobile präsentiert ZEITRAUM die Neuheiten für 2017:

Das vielseitige Office-System RAIL, entworfen vom Kölner Designduo Kaschkasch, wird in Form einer Tischreihung gezeigt. Die Vielfältigkeit des Tischprogramms, das erst-mals zur Orgatec im Oktober 2016 gezeigt wurde, finden Sie im RAIL Katalog.

Das neue Bett KOSI mit Nachtkasten und Bank von Moritz von Schmeling wurde erstmalig zur diesjährigen imm Cologne in Köln gezeigt.

Kollektionserweiterungen 2017:

Der Barstuhl SIT BAR vom Mailänder Designduo Lorenz+Kaz und der Barstuhl NONOTO BAR der Berliner Designer Läufer + Keichel ergänzen die jeweiligen Stuhlkollektionen. Der Beistelltisch PLAISIR 2 vom Münchner Designstudio Formstelle ist jetzt auch mit Holzteller erhältlich.

Das Boxspringbett MIUT ist jetzt mit dem Betthaupt aus Massivholz MIUT BOARD erhältlich.

At this year’s Salone del Mobile, ZEITRAUM will be pre-senting new 2017 products:

The versatile RAIL office system, designed by designer duo Kaschkasch from Cologne will be presented in the form of a row of tables. Have a browse through the RAIL catalogue to see the many different options and applications of this range of tables, first shown last October at Orgatec 2016.

The new KOSI bed with matching nightstand and bench, designed by Moritz von Schmeling, were introduced at this year’s imm Cologne.

Additions to existing collections:

The SIT BAR barstool by Milan-based designer duo Lorenz+Kaz and the NONOTO BAR barstool by Berlin designers Läufer + Keichel complement the respective chair collections. The PLAISIR 2 occasional table by Munich-based Formstelle will now also be available with a wooden tray.

The MIUT boxspring-bed is now available with MIUT BOARD solid-wood headboard.

As a manufacturing producer, we are extremely flexible and able to offer additional special solutions. Our conceptual and sustainable principles set the tone here as well.

ZEITRAUM presents RAIL, the versatile solid wood table collection for new generation offices and homes.

The Cologne-based designer duo Kaschkasch has develo-ped an elaborate furniture range, offering versatile solu-tions, especially for tomorrow’s workplaces.

“The aim was to develop a modular, versatile range of ta-bles for ZEITRAUM, which could be used in the most dif-ferent environments. The result is RAIL, a series of solid wood furniture, consisting of worktables, dinner tables, conference tables, high tables, café and bistro tables, as well as benches and additional modules such as acoustic elements and a high desk. With its studio-like aesthetics, RAIL offers versatile and holistic options for the most di-verse requirements at home, in the office or in the hos-pitality sector”, according to designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider from Kaschkasch.

ZEITRAUM stellt RAIL vor, die wandlungsfähige Tisch- kollektion aus Massivholz für das Arbeiten und Wohnen einer neuen Generation.

Das Kölner Designerduo Kaschkasch entwickelte ein durchdachtes Möbelprogramm, das insbesondere vielsei-tige Lösungen für den Arbeitsplatz von morgen bietet.

„Der Ansatz war, für ZEITRAUM ein modulares Tischpro-gramm zu entwerfen, das vielseitig einsetzbar ist und themenübergreifend funktioniert. Entstanden ist RAIL, eine aus massivem Holz gefertigte Möbelserie, die aus beliebig erweiterbaren Arbeits-, Ess- und Konferenztischen, Steh- tischen, Café- und Bistrotischen, Bänken sowie Zusatz- Modulen wie Akustikelementen und einem Stehpult besteht. RAIL schafft mit seinem Atelier-Charakter ein flexibles und ganzheitlich gedachtes Umfeld für unterschiedlichste Arbeits-, Gastronomie- und Wohnsituationen“, so die Desig-ner Florian Kallus und Sebastian Schneider von Kaschkasch.

RAIL – Construction

RAIL is based on a patented connection between table leg and tabletop. Thanks to a continuous groove on the under-side of the tabletops, the trestles can be moved as requi-red. Tabletop and legs are fastened with a quick-release clamp, creating a stable workplace. The RAIL table can be extended by adding additional tops on each longitudinal side:

The legs are then slid so that they are positioned centrally below the point where two tops adjoin. This means that only one trestle is needed to support two tops.

The tops come in square, rectangular and trapezoid shapes with rounded edges and no joints. When combined, they offer countless and easily adjustable solutions for modern offices: as a desk in small offices or at home, as a confe-rence table or as a large work surface for collaborative teamwork.

The high desk module RAIL Break raises the surface to 107 cm, allowing for working while standing up or using a stool, which is easier on the back. The module can also be used for short meetings.

Additional acoustic elements RAIL Screen can be flexibly placed on the RAIL tables, creating individual work areas, absorbing sound and also functioning as pinboards. Also fitted with acoustic foam, the wall panels RAIL Wall impro-ve room acoustics and can be used as large noticeboards or backrests.

RAIL is also available as a high table RAIL High with a height of 107 cm, which can be used, for example, as a narrow workplace or meeting table.

The comprehensive furniture range is complemented with the round RAIL bistro and dinner tables RAIL Café, Dine and Snack, and thus allows for consistent interior designs.

RAIL is available in different woods and finishes that match the entire ZEITRAUM collection. The tabletops also come in a light grey linoleum design.

With RAIL, ZEITRAUM presents an unconventional alter-native to existing standard systems for multi-user work-stations in open-plan offices – the perfect solution for creating individual, customized workspaces.

RAIL – Konstruktion

RAIL basiert auf einer patentierten Verbindung zwischen Tischbein und Tischplatte. Dank einer durchlaufenden Nut an der Unterseite der Platten sind die Tischböcke nach Wunsch verschiebbar. Ein Schnellspanner fixiert Tischplat-te und Tischbock, sodass ein stabiler Arbeitsplatz entsteht. Tisch RAIL kann mit einer Ansatzplatte wahlweise an bei-den Längsseiten erweitert werden:

Hierfür werden die Tischböcke mittig unter den Stoß ge-schoben, sodass auch bei der Reihung von mehreren Tisch-platten jeweils nur ein Tischbock nötig ist.

Die quadratisch, rechteckig und trapezförmig verfügbaren Tischplatten haben abgerundete Ecken und sind zargenlos; kombiniert bieten sie zahllose und leicht anzupassende Lö-sungen für moderne Arbeitsräume: als Schreibtisch in klei-nen Büros oder im Home-Office, als Konferenztisch oder als großzügige Arbeitsfläche für interaktives Arbeiten.

Ein Stehpult-Modul RAIL Break erhöht die Arbeitsfläche auf 107 cm, sodass im Stehen oder auch erhöhtem Sit-zen gearbeitet werden kann, das einer rückenschonenden Arbeitsweise entspricht. Außerdem dient es für kurze Be-sprechungen.

Die Akustikelemente RAIL Screen können flexibel auf die RAIL Tische gestellt werden. Diese haben die Funktion, individuelle Arbeitszonen zu schaffen, Schall zu absor-bieren und als Pinnwand zu fungieren. Die ebenfalls mit Akustikschaum ausgestatteten Wandpaneele RAIL Wall verbessern die Raumakustik und kommen als großflächige Pinnwand oder als Rückenlehne zum Einsatz.

RAIL ist in einer Höhe von 107 cm auch als Hochtisch RAIL High erhältlich und ist so beispielsweise als schmaler Werkplatz oder als Besprechungstisch nutzbar.

Die runden RAIL Bistro- und Esstische RAIL Café, Dine und Snack komplettieren das umfassende Möbelprogramm und ermöglichen die Gestaltung eines ganzheitlichen Raum-konzepts.

RAIL ist in verschiedenen Holzarten und Beiztönen, pas-send zur gesamten ZEITRAUM Kollektion, erhältlich. Die Tischplatten sind ebenfalls in einer lichtgrauen Linoleum-Variante wählbar.

Mit RAIL stellt ZEITRAUM eine unkonventionelle Alterna-tive zu aktuellen Standardlösungen wie Wechselarbeits-plätze in Großraumbüros vor und sorgt so für ein individu-elles und persönliches Arbeitsumfeld.

SIT BAR – a simple barstool. With its minimalist design, the SIT range of chairs is suitable for both domestic and com-mercial settings. With SIT BAR, the chair family is being extended to include a barstool that comes in two diffe-rent seat heights: 65 and 80 cm. The stool is available in oak, stained oak and American walnut and features either a wooden or upholstered seat. The feet rest comfortably on the slightly sloped footrest. SIT bar: minimalist look, comfortable and sturdy use.

SIT BAR – der schlichte Barstuhl. Die Stuhlserie SIT ist durch die reduzierte Formgebung sowohl für den Wohn-bereich als auch für den Objektbereich geeignet. SIT BAR ergänzt die Stuhlfamilie um einen Barstuhl in zwei Sitzhö-hen, 65 und 80 cm. SIT BAR ist in Eiche, Eiche Farbbeize und amerikanischem Nussbaum, wahlweise mit Holzsitz oder Festpolster erhältlich. Angenehm ist das Abstellen der Füße auf der angeschrägten Fußablage. Formal ist der SIT BAR reduziert, praktisch ist er bequem und robust.

NONOTO BAR – The modeled bar chair. The NONOTO chair family is complemented with a new barstool: NONOTO BAR. The unique junction between frame and backrest lends the stool a sculptural character. A ring serves as footrest while also providing additional stability and ad-ding another finish: both the walnut and the graphite black stain design come with a matt black powder-coated foot-rest. All other stains and the natural oak version feature a rose gold-coated footrest. NONOTO BAR is available in two seating heights of 65 and 80 cm, features either a wooden or upholstered seat.

Als Fußablage dient ein Metallring, der zur Sta-bilität beiträgt und ein weiteres Material zum Massivholz addiert: Bei Nussbaum und Farbbeize graphitschwarz ist die Fußablage in mattschwarz pulverbeschichtet ausge-führt. Bei Eiche und allen anderen Farbbeiztönen ist der Fußring rosegold. NONOTO BAR ist in zwei Sitzhöhen 65 und 80 cm erhältlich, wahlweise mit Holzsitz oder Fest-polster.

The PLAISIR 2 tray table has a new variant:

The small tray table now comes in a new design: Avec plaisir – with pleasure – the name says it all. Based on ori-ental tray tables, the concept communicates the gesture of serving tea or coffee. A slender, low, three-legged wooden frame holds a removable aluminium tray. The tray is now also available as a delicate removable solid-wood plate, matching the slim and higher PLAISIR 1 design.

Das Tabletttischchen PLAISIR 2 hat eine neue Variante:

„Avec plaisir” – mit Vergnügen – der Name ist Konzept. Die thematische Anlehnung an orientalische Tabletttisch-chen transportiert formal die Geste des Servierens von Tee und Kaffee. Unbeschwert trägt ein feines, niedriges Drei-beingestell aus Holz ein abnehmbares Aluminiumtablett. Dieses ist jetzt auch zusätzlich als zarter, abnehmbarer Holzteller in Massivholz erhältlich. Passend zur höheren, schlanken Ausführung PLAISIR 1.

KOSI Boxspring – the unusually light boxspring bed. While offering the comfort of a box-spring bed, unlike conven-tional systems, KOSI has an exceptionally light expressi-on. What’s innovative about KOSI is its construction: bed spring base and mattress are laterally braced by elliptical legs. The corners feature generous radii, thus giving volu-me to the upholstery elements. A mattress topper provides additional comfort.

The KOSI mattress is made in Germany by the manufactu-rer muun for ZEITRAUM. The mattress offers four different combinations. Topper and core can be turned around to get a different sleeping comfort.

The bed can be complemented with a slender solid wood or upholstered headboard. Its lateral parts are curved, recal-ling an embrace and providing a feeling of shelter. Crafts-manship in combination with modern CNC technology gives the headboard made of solid wood its own quality.

KOSI Boxspring – das ungewohnt leichte Boxspringbett. KOSI Boxspring bietet den Komfort eines Boxspringbetts, wirkt aber im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Systembet-ten ungewohnt leicht. Neuartig und spannend an KOSI Boxspring ist die Konstruktion: Bettrahmen und Matratze werden seitlich von ellipsenförmigen Beinen gefasst. Die Ecken verschmelzen zu großzügigen Radien und geben den Polsterelementen Volumen.

Die KOSI Matratze wird in Deutschland vom Hersteller muun für ZEITRAUM angefertigt. Die Matratze besteht aus einem wendbaren Kern und einer wendbaren Auflage. Durch simples Umdrehen bietet sie vier Liegevarianten.

Wahlweise kann ein schlankes Kopfteil in Massivholz oder als gepolsterte Version hinzugefügt werden. Seine abge-rundeten Seiten deuten eine Umarmung an, die Geborgen-heit schenkt. Handwerkskunst in Verbindung mit moderner CNC-Technologie verleiht dem Kopfteil aus Massivholz eine eigene Qualität.

KOSI NIGHT – the nightstand to the KOSI bed. The KOSI NIGHT nightstand rests on elliptical legs, which are con-nected via a frame that supports a small box.

Moving the tabletop sideways reveals a storage space for books or jewellery.

KOSI BANK – serves not only as a bench. Matching the KOSI bed, the KOSI BANK bench also rests on elliptical legs. The cross-beam frame guarantees stability and sup-ports an upholstered seat.

With it´s rounded edges, the upholstery is rather reminis-cent of a cushion. KOSI BANK is both a bench and a shelf for clothes.

KOSI BANK – dient nicht nur als Sitzbank. Passend zum KOSI Bett steht auch die KOSI BANK auf ellipsenförmigen Beinen. Die Kreuzkonstruktion sorgt für Stabilität und trägt eine gepolsterte Sitzfläche.

Durch die abgerundeten Ecken wirkt das Sitzpolster kis-senartig. KOSI BANK dient sowohl als Sitzbank als auch zum Ablegen von Kleidung.

MIUT BOARD – the delicately shaped, solid-wood head-board corresponds formally to the padded head board of the MIUT COMFORT box spring bed. What’s special about the headboard is its fine and detailed shape. As opposed to conventional box-spring beds, the MIUT BOARD head-board has a soft and light expression. Its calm aesthetics highlight the subtle detailing: the finely differentiated slender shape is CNC milled and hand-finished.

The bed’s cone-shaped body conveys a feeling of warmth and security. MIUT BOARD is suitable for both hotels and homes. Thanks to the mattress lying atop the frame, it is easy to change bedclothes. The clearance under the bed allows sufficient air circulation, thus creating a healthy cli-mate in the bedroom: benefits that are perfect for hotels and are also appreciated at home.

MIUT BOARD – das fein konturierte Massivholzkopfteil entspricht formal dem Polsterkopfteil des Boxspringbetts MIUT COMFORT. Die Besonderheit des massiven Kopf-teils ist seine feine und detaillierte Kontur. Anders als bei herkömmlichen Boxspringbetten wirkt MIUT BOARD nicht opulent, es ist weich und leicht. Sein ruhiges Erschei-nungsbild konzentriert den Blick auf das sich verjüngende Profil: Die differenzierte Konturlinie ist CNC gefräst und von Hand geschliffen.

Aufgrund der auf-liegenden Matratze ist es leicht zu beziehen, der Stoff des Bettrahmens ist abziehbar. Die Bodenfreiheit ermöglicht eine gute Luftzirkulation, die für ein gesundes Schlafklima sorgt. Vorzüge, die Hotelansprüchen genügen und im priva-ten Schlafzimmer geschätzt werden.
