Projekte der erneuerbaren Energien haben nach einem Wirtschaftlichkeitstest das Recht auf Netzanschluss.
Das sog. Renewable Energy Approval (REA) erleichtert dem Antragsteller den Prozess durch klare Regeln und Voraussetzungen der Provinz.
Ontarios Einspeiseprogramm (Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Programm) ist Nordamerikas erstes umfassendes Programm mit garantierter Preisstruktur für die Produktion erneuerbaren Stroms. Es bietet stabile Preise und langfristige Verträge für Energie aus erneuerbaren Quellen.
Das Renewable Energy Facilitation Office (REFO) ist eine zentrale Anlaufstelle für gezielte Unterstützung und Hilfe für Projektentwickler.
Förderung und Unterstützung von Konsumenten, Verwaltungen, Bildungseinrichtungen und der Industrie zur Umsetzung von Einsparungs- und Energieeffizienzmaßnahmen.
Modernisierung der Stromnetzes und der Verteilersysteme, um die Energieversorgung zu sichern und die erneuerbaren Energien zu integrieren.
