Während der zweijährigen Umbau­zeit wurde das Gebäude unter denkmalschützerischen Auflagen renoviert. Mit der neuen Innen­gestaltung der Londoner Interior Designer von MKV Design unter­streicht der Schweizerhof Bern & THE SPA seinen Anspruch, auch im 21. Jahr hundert das führende Luxushotel (5­Sterne Superior) und die erste Adresse für Business­, Event­ und Bern­Besucher zu sein.

Pendant les deux ans de travaux de rénovation, le bâtiment a été trans­formé en respectant les prescriptions des monuments historiques. Au travers du nouvel aménagement inté­rieur, réalisé par l’architecte d’inté­rieur londonien MKV Design, le Schweizerhof Bern & THE SPA souligne son désir de rester, également au 21e siècle, l’hôtel de luxe leader (5 étoiles Superior) et l’adresse la plus plébiscitée pour les voyages d’affaires, culturels ou touristiques.

During two years, the building was renovated in line with the stipula-tions by the building protection office. The new interior design by London-based MKV Design under-scores the commitment of the Schweizerhof Bern & THE SPA to secure a position as Bern’s leading luxury hotel (5-star Superior) in the 21st century, and to be the number one address for business, leisure and local visitors.
