I seem to see the tail but cannot connect together the patches e and f: pos, sibly some optical illusion due to the light of star dust in this region-

0 I can trace the tail with certainty to this point but not beyond; but a friend locates the sections c and y (or up to LY Draconis) where its end is still broad. Tam disposed to accept this extension as my own eyes are very mrich fatigued.

There is not sensible curvature in the tail up to b' b", but it must be de- cidedly concave 011 the s. f. side if sections c and y are adopted.

Sections a, b and c were located at 9" Om p. m. in strong twilight and were then considered doubtful for want of good comparison stars, but sub- sequently.

(9'' 45" p. m.) were corrected as here given.

The tail is traced tip to a Urs. maj. (yo): no indications of curvature in this position: Excessivcly faint.

O ? All the sections made to night were located by estimation and less accu- rately than usual.

Tail excessively faint beyond b' b" and only strongly suspect,ed.

This section located by B friend and is to be accepted as probably correct.

Cloudy clear moist air; the tail is not recognisable.
