Was versteht IBM unter Smarter Work?

Eigentlich geht es darum, den Esprit, den Enthusiasmus, den Ideenreichtum, die Leistungsbereitschaft, die Motivation, den Unternehmergeist eines Startups in beliebige Organisationen zu bringen. (frei nach Dr. Buhse, doubleyuu.com)

Wie geht man vor?

Je nach Unternehmenskultur wählt man einen überschaubaren Startpunkt oder einen Fachbereich als Startpunkt. Beispiele sind zB. die Auszubildenden des Unternehmens oder ein Fachbereich wie Marketing / Presse / PR oder Forschung und Entwicklung.

Auch auf der Technologie Seite entscheiden, ob ich Module oder Produktfeatures aufsparen bzw. weglassen kann.

Die Mitbestimmung frühzeitig einbinden oder bereits dort den Startpunkt setzen. Je nach Zielgruppe sind Trainings einzuplanen. Der Umfang reicht von minimal bis

umfangreich. Klar definieren, wie lange der Pilotzeitraum dauern soll, wie Ergebnisse festgehalten

werden und was danach passiert. Was sind die Erfolgskriterien? Die Rolle des Projektleiters klar definieren und diesen offiziell ernennen.

IBM bietet interessierten Kunden und Partnern einen strukturierten Workshop (Social Business Agenda), in dem ROIs, mögliche Startpunkte, Kosten sowie Peer-Group-Vergleiche enthalten sind.

Was sind Anforderungen an die IT?

Smarter Work ist mehr als die Nutzung von Social Tools. Es bedeutet vor Allem eine veränderte Unternehmens- und Kommunikationskultur nach den Prinzipien des Web 2: Transparenz, Offenheit und Respekt.

Die IT steht also erst an zweiter Stelle. Die Unternehmensführung muss als Erstes hinter der Idee der effektiveren Zusammenarbeit stehen. Dies ist ein Leadership Thema!

Mit Projekten rund um Enterprise 2.0, Smarter Work, Social Business rücken sofort die Themen Sicherheit, Device Strategy, BYOD ect. auf den Plan. Mittlerweile gibt es zu allen Punkten Best-Practices via vielen Partnern und IBM selbst.

Mit Blick auf geeignete Tools stellen sich dann Fragen wie:

Personalisierbarkeit, Wiedererkennungswert, Arbeiten mit Dokumenten, Informationsstrukturierung, Informationsfilterung, Weiterleiten von Informationen, Social Analytics, Integration in IT-Landschaft, inkrementelle Funktionserweiterung, customized Extensions, Berechtigungsmanagement, Unterstützung (teil-) standardisierter Interaktion ect. ect.

Farbige Zeilen weisen auf emails Ihrer Kunden oder Ihrer Vorgesetzten hin

How to enable colored rows: Click on “More” > “Preferences...” Select the Tabs “Mail” > “Sender Colors”

Basics – Mail – Farben in die Inbox bringen

Then enter Sender Names(or parts of it like “/IBM” or “/Germany” or “@de.ibm.com”)

and give them a nice fore- and background color When you close the Preferences dialog, the Inbox

(and most other views) will immediately start to colorize the view entries.
