1998 hat sich mein Leben sehr verändert. Ich hatte tiefe und heilende Begegnungen mit Gott, die aber auch zum Teil sehr schmerzhaft waren. Ich durfte ler-nen, durch alle Gefühlsachterbahnen hindurch Jesus immer anbeten zu können, denn Er ist vor allem und Er ist der Herr.

In 1998 my life changed completely. I had deep encounters with God, which brought healing but were also painful at times. I had the privilege to learn to worship Jesus throughout all emotional ups and downs, because He is supreme and He is Lord.

You shall be honoredIn 2004, I was sitting in my room in the North of India (Kashmir), wanting only one thing: going back home to Germany. I was faced with some personal challen-ges for a while and was looking for a way to escape. But at the same time I knew, that I had to go through these things, if I really wanted to follow Jesus. It’s not about us, it’s all about Him. We lay everything down at His feet, so that He will get the glory!

Du sollst geehrt sein2004 saß ich in Nordindien (Kaschmir) in meinem Zimmer und wollte nur noch zurück nach Hause, nach Deutschland. Ich stand über eine länger Zeit in einigen persönlichen Herausforderungen und suchte nach einer Möglichkeit, diesen zu entfliehen. Jedoch wusste ich auch, dass ich durch diese Dinge hin-durchgehen muss, wenn ich Jesus wirklich nachfolgen will. Es geht nicht um uns, sondern um Ihn. Wir legen alles zu Seinen Füßen nieder, auf dass Er alle Ehre bekommt!

Du bist so wunderschön2010 fuhren wir als Band in die Schweiz auf einen An-betungseinsatz. Während einer Abendveranstaltung sang ich prophetisch über die Schönheit Jesu. Das war die Geburt des Liedes.

Psalm 23 (für Birgit)2011 erzählte mir eine liebe Freundin, dass sie ernsthaft erkrankt sei. Was bleibt da anderes, als zu beten? So saß ich im Gebets-haus in Lüdenscheid und betete den Psalm 23 über ihr aus, mit meinen eigenen Worten, die irgendwann zum Lied wurden.

Du bist so wunderschön2011 in Nagaland (Indien). Ich sitze in meinem Zim-mer und bete Jesus an. Vor meinem inneren Auge sehe ich die vielen Hügel und Bergketten, die für Nagaland so typisch sind. Und ich sehe Jesus, viel höher und größer als diese Berge. Ich fange an, über und Nagaland zu zu singen, damit jeder sieht wie gut und herrlich er ist. Er ist das Licht. Die Liebe bleibt2012 feierten wir das Jubiläum einer unserer Diens-te der FCJG. Ich dachte so darüber nach, was so ein Jubiläum eigentlich ausmacht. 25, 50, 75 Jahre. Nichts bleibt, wie es war. Ein Kommen und Gehen von Freunden und Beziehungen. Was bleibt am Ende von all dem, was wir im Leben so tun, eigentlich übrig? Gott allein. Sein Wesen bleibt unveränderlich, ohne ein Wechsel der Schatten. Sein Wesen ist Liebe.

SuperheroIn 2012, I was on staff at the REVIVAL SCHOOL of FCJG Lüdenscheid. Again and again I encountered people there, who did not know about their potential of giftings and creativity, placed there by God. There were so many lost childhood dreams that were re-dis-covered. God planted all these things as a seed inside of us, to see it grow and bear much fruit. With God all things are possible. We are supposed to be those who shake the earth!

Superheld2012 war ich Mitarbeiter der FCJG Revival School in Lüdenscheid. Immer wieder hatte ich es dort mit Men-schen zu tun, die nicht wussten, welch ein Potenzial an Begabung und Kreativität Gott in sie hineingelegt hat. Da waren verschüttete Träume der Kindheit die neu entdeckt wurden. Gott hat all diese Dinge als Same in uns angelegt, damit er aufgeht und viel Frucht bringt. Mit Gott ist alles möglich. Wir sollen die sein, die mit Ihm den Weltkreis erregen!
