Targeted CandidatesThe test is mandatory for all grade 12 students

UAE nationals, in all public and private schools (Ministry of Education curriculum and international private curriculum)

All UAE nationals and non-na-tionals wishing to complete their studies at a public or private uni-versities in the UAE are required to take the EmSAT as well.

Non-Emirati students from private schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education curriculum

Emiratis applying for scholarships abroad

From national service students and applicants to military colleges

Emiratis and non-Emiratis stud-ying in government continuing education centers

EmSAT PoliciesLate PolicyLate students will not be allowed to enter the test centers after 30 minutes of starting the test, and the absence is recorded for this test.

If for some reason the student cannot attend any of the EmSAT tests, he / she will not be allowed to register again except in exceptional cases (illness, family emergency). The student must submit a re-test request to the National and International Ex-aminations Department, explaining the reason for his absence in detail and attaching a medical re-port issued by a government hospital and certified by the Ministry of Health. Accordingly, the student will be reviewed and informed of the test date as-signed to him only if the excuse is approved and the condition applies.

Cheating PolicyIf a student cheats or attempts to cheat, his score will not be counted and will be prohibited from taking the Emirates Standard Test for one year.

In case the student attempts to falsify the scores in the EMSAT certificate, his score will not be counted from the test and the case will be referred to the Legal Affairs Department to take the neces-sary action.

Useful Notes for Students• Students may examine different subject on separated days.

• There is no failing score for the test, but it is a measure of skills

• Number of subjects required to take the test 5 basic subjects

including chemistry for advanced track students only

• Exams are conducted at specific and approved test centers,

that are distributed across UAE.

• Students are registered through an ID reader in all government

schools, through the school’s accredited coordinators.

• In the case of early registration of the test, the student can

change or cancel the date and place of the test if necessary,

taking into account that this feature closes (12) days before the

scheduled date of the test, after which the student will not be

able to change the date or cancel the test, but must attend. In

case the student does not attend, an absence is recorded. The

policy of absenteeism shall apply to it on the official website of

EmSAT.

Preventive and Precautionary Measures

It is obligatory to provide the Test Center a negative COVID-19 test result for a time frame no later than one weeks on Al Hoson mobile application. And If there was any positive test then the applicant should provide a negative test results before registering in the test.

Strict Precautions will be taken for the Safety of Applicants.

Applicants’ temperature will be measured through thermal cameras and accordingly if any student showing any corona symptoms, they will be prohibited to enter examination Hall.

Applicants must wear a mask and gloves before entering test Center .

It is obligatory to provide a valid Emirates ID card.

Strict Precautions will be taken for the Safety of Applicants.

It is strictly forbidden to take any of family members to the Test Center together, and are not allowed to be in the waiting areas.

Adherence to the Social distance of two meters between the students and everyone else.

The applicants must bring their own calculator for the Physics and Math Exams.

The applicants must leave the Test Center upon completion of the Examination and not allowed to stay around in the Center.

The applicants must try to neglect getting unnecessary personnel belongings.
