Einleitung/Introduction

Der Steuerungsteil dieser Starter- Kit besteht aus einer SPS des Typs Modicon TM258LF42DT. Das Magelis Bediengerät HMISTU655 wird via Ethernet- Patchkabel 490NTW00002 auf die integrierte Schnitt-stelle der SPS verbunden.Zur Programmierung der Architektur wird ein PC mit der installierten SoMachine V3.0 (MSDCHNRUA&MSDCHNSFNV30) verwendet, welcher mit dem USB- Programmierkabel BMXXCAUSBH018 mit der SPS verbunden ist.

The control part of this Starter- Kit contains a PLC Type Modicon TM258LF42DT. The Human Machine Interface Magelis HMISTU655 is connected via Ethernet- Patch cable 490NTW00002 to the integrated Ethernet- Port of the PLC.For programming the architecture a PC with installed SoMachine V3.0 (MSDCHNRUA&MSDCHNSFNV30) will be used, which is connected with the USB- Programming cable BMXXCAUSBH018 to the PLC.

Das Bedienpanel HMISTU655 beinhaltet (Rückseite):

1 Steckbare Schraubklemmleiste für 24 VDC- Versorgung.2 Serieller RJ45-Anschluss RS 232C oder RS 485 für die Verbindung zur SPS (COM1).3 USB- Anschluss Typ A (Host) für:

- den Anschluss von Peripheriegeräten,- den Anschluss eines USB- Stick,- den Download der Applikation.

4 Ein USB- Anschluss Mini B Device für den Download der Applikation (an der linken Seite).

5 Ein RJ45- Anschluss für die Ethernet TCP/IP- Verbindung, 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.

Das Small Panel Magelis STU besteht aus einem Frontmodul (mit dem Display) undeinem rückseitigen Modul (mit der CPU und den Klemmenleisten und Anschlusssteckern). Die zwei Module werden über die 22 mm-Bohrung miteinander verbunden. Die Be -festigung erfolgt über folgende Komponenten:

6 Eine Befestigungsmutter.7 Eine Dichtung.8 Ein T-Stück als Verdrehschutz (Verwendung ist nicht obligatorisch).9 Ein Bügel zum Trennen (durch einfaches Drücken) der 2 Module.

The Graphic panel HMISTU655 comprise:

A Magelis STU Small Panel is made up of a front module (comprising the screen) anda rear module (comprising the CPU plus terminals and connectors). The two modulesare fixed together by means of a hole measuring 22 mm in diameter. The fixing systemcontains the following elements:

Software

Die Hauptarbeit ist die Programmierung des Modicon M258 LogikController und die Erstellung der Bildschirme für das HMI Display.

Die Programmierung des Modicon M258 Logik Controller wird mit SoMachine ausgeführt. Die Programmierung des HMI Magelis HMISTU655 wird mit VijeoDesigner ausgeführt, welcher in SoMachine integriert ist.

Um die Softwarepakete zu nutzen, muss Ihr PC mindestens mit folgendem Microsoft Windows Betriebsystem ausgerüstet sein: Microsoft Windows XP SP2 oder SP3, Windows 7 Professional Edition 32 bit

The main programming work lies in the programming of the Modicon M258 Logic controller and creating the screens for the HMI display.

Programming of the Modicon M258 Logic controller is done by using SoMachine.Programming of the HMI Magelis HMISTU655 is done by using Vijeo Designer, which is integrated into SoMachine.

Kommunikation / Communication

Der Modicon M258 Logik Controller und das Magelis HMISTU655 kommunizieren mittels des SoMachine Protokoll auf Ethernet.

Der Download vom PC auf die M258 und das HMI wird über eineeinzige Verbindung ausgeführt. Der PC muss via USB mit der M258 verbunden werden. Über diese Verbindung werden auch die Daten an das HMI übertragen.

The Modicon M258 Logic controller and the Magelis HMISTU655 communicate using the SoMachine protocol on Ethernet.

The download from the PC to the M258 and to the HMI is done using a single connection. The PC has to be connected to the M258 over USB. Using this connection the data is also sent across to the HMI.

Aktualisierung der Controller Firmware/Update of the controller firmware

1. Kopieren folgender Files auf einen USB Stick/Copy the following Files on a USB Stick

2. M258 ausschalten/ Turn off the M258

3. Stick hineinstecken/ Connect the Stick

4. M258 einschalten und solange warten, bis die LED "USB Host" nicht mehr blinkt (3-5 Minuten) / Turn on the M238 and wait until the LED „USB HOST“ is no more blinking (3 – 5 Min)

5. M258 nochmals ausschalten und einschalten/ Turn off and Turn on once again the M258
