ÉTAPE 1Utilisation avec une tente coupole

Lors du premier montage : Avant d’enta-mer votre voyage, il est conseillé toutd’abord de procéder au montage de votrenouveau tarp, afin de vous familiariseravec les différentes étapes de montage.

Choisissez tout d’abord le côté adapté devotre tente coupole et évaluez quel endroitconviendra le mieux pour monter votreauvent. Assemblez soigneusement tous lessegments de l’arceaux en alu, de manièreà ce qu’ils soient bien imbriqués les unsdans les autres (1). Disposez la partieétroite de la toile par-dessus votre tentecoupole, de manière à ce que l’œillet soitau centre du croisement des arceaux de latente coupole (2). Fixez les deux haubansà l’arrière au sol, soit aux sardines déjà dis-ponibles de la tente, ou séparément àl’aide de sardines supplémentaires (3).

Legen Sieden schmalen Teil der Plane so über IhrKuppelzelt, dass die Öse mittig auf demGestängekreuz des Kuppelzeltes liegt (2).Fixieren Sie nun die hinteren Abspannlei-nen entweder an den vorhandenen Herin-gen des Zeltes oder spannen Sie sie mitzusätzlichen Heringen aus (3).

STEP 1Use with dome tent

Pitching your tarp for the first time: Werecommend you do a dry run pitching yournew tarp in order to familiarise yourselfwith all the steps in the pitching proced -ure before embarking on your first trip.

First, decide which is the best side of yourtent to erect the roof tarp. Spread the tarpout flat on the ground and slot the seg-ments of the aluminium poles together,carefully, ensuring that they lock togetherfirmly (1). Lay the narrow section of thetarp over your dome tent so that the eye-let is located directly where the poles in-tersect (2). Now anchor the rear guylines,either by attaching them to the pegs ofthe main tent already in place or by usingadditional pegs (3).

Pull the wide opposite end of the tarp asfar as possible away from the tent and an-chor the pole by inserting the pointed endinto the existing eyelet (1). Tauten thefront middle guyline and anchor it with apeg (2). Now anchor the side guylines withthe remaining pegs. Fine-tune the finalposition of the tarp by adjusting the ten-sion of the guy lines in front of and abovethe tent (3).

Pour cette étape, deux personnes sont né-cessaires. Disposez la pointe du premierbâton de trek dans l’œillet situé à l’arrièrede la toile (1) et tenez-le droit pendantque l’autre personne tend les deux hau-bans arrière (2). Insérez le deuxième bâtonde trek de la même façon dans l’œilletsitué à l’avant (3) et tendez le haubanavant (4). Tendez ensuite les haubanslaté raux (5). Pour que la toile soit bienmaintenue, il est nécessaire de régler etéquilibrer la tension de tous les haubans.

This step requires two people. Insert thetip of the first trekking pole into the cor-responding eyelet at the back of the tarp(1) and hold it up straight as the otherperson tightens the two rear guylines (2).Insert the second trekking pole into thefront eyelet as above (3) and tighten thefront guyline (4). Now tighten the sideguylines (5). Fine-tune the final positionof the tarp by adjusting the tension of allthe guy lines.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Clean yourtarp when assembled using only a littlesoap and water. On no account should thetarp be machine washed or dry cleaned,since this could cause irreversible damageto the protective coating on the fabric.Suitable silicone-based lubricants protectpoles from corrosion.

FIRE PREVENTION: Open fires and flamesare a hazard for tarp materials and yoursafety. Avoid naked flames in the immed -iate vicinity of the tarp.

LAGERUNGBevor Sie Ihr Tarp längere Zeit lagern, muss esvollkommen durchgetrocknet sein, sonst be-steht Gefahr von Schimmel- und Stockflecken-bildung.

UV-STRAHLUNGUltraviolette (UV) Strahlung zerstört mit derZeit alle modernen Zelt-Materialien. Das spe-zielle Polyester-Zeltmaterial erhöht die Le-bensdauer gegenüber herkömmlichen Nylon-Zelt-Materialien, kann aber auch auf Dauer derNatur nicht trotzen. Bitte vermeiden Sie des -halb dauerhafte intensive Sonneneinwirkung.JACK WOLFSKIN übernimmt keine Garantiefür Schäden durch UV-Strahlung.

NOTEREPAIRSRepair materials for minor repairs during usageare provided. Production faults will be repairedunder the terms of our guarantee. Please ensure that thetarp is in a clean state and ask your nearestretailer to return it, enclosing clear repair in-structions and proof of purchase.

STORAGEAllow your tarp to dry thoroughly while stillassembled before storing it for any longer period. This will prevent mildew and dampstains forming.

UV LIGHTUltraviolet (UV) radiation reduces the tear-strength of all tent materials over the courseof time. The special polyester tent material in-creases the service life in comparison withcon ventional nylon materials. Tarp materials,however, cannot permanently defy the effectsof nature. Therefore, please avoid subjectingthe tarp to intensive sunlight for extendedperiods of time. JACK WOLFSKIN will not as-sume any liability for damage caused by ultra -violet light.

NAHTDICHTERDie wichtigsten Nähte sind mit einer spe-ziellen Nahtband-Versiegelung versehen.Es empfiehlt sich, Nahtstellen, in die Bän-der oder Gummilitzen mit eingefasst sindund die so die Bandabklebung unterbre-chen, von innen und außen zusätzlich mitbeiliegendem PU-Nahtdichter abzudichten.Eine Garantie für die Verklebung ist aus-geschlossen.

ADDITIONAL TIPSCorrect initial tensioning of the poles, thevestibule and the guy lines are the pre -requisites for secure assembly and opti-mum wind stability. Check that the tarp iscorrectly positioned and correct if neces-sary. Take your time; a few minutes spentchecking the tarp during assembly willmean that you can relax when the weat-her next turns bad!

SEAM SEALANTThe important seams are specially tapesealed. However we do recommend add -itional sealing with the PU seam sealantprovided, particularly at those points ofthe seam where tapes or rubber tension -ing loops are integrated into seam andthus interrupt the continuity of the tapeseal. We offer no guarantee on the seamtaping of the seams.
