Presentation of the products:

Interior powder coatings: for the cover of metal furniture, instruments inside the house for the painting of refrigerators, toys, household utensils, electrical equipments, heaters, metal ware, warehouse stands, set of carriages, suspended ceilings, business furniture, etc.

Exterior powder – coatings: main sphere of use is to protect and to cover in an aesthetic way exteriors – frontal pieces. It can be applied favourably on extruded aluminium surfaces, plates, galvanized or grappled steel objects for covering lampposts permanently.

We have a GSB classification, since 1995, (= Gütegeminschaft für die Stückbeschichtung von Bauteilen E.V. – that is the specially collected range of requirements of the Germen Din norms - this classification system is accepted throughout Europe).

We have renewed our product-structure with the EN-71.3 (EURONORM) which came into operation in 1998 under West-European norms, so our powder – coatings do not include inorganic pigments or the TGIC (tri – glicidil – isocyanite) which is used as to net the spatial.

We have already proved our commitment to environment protection, with the fact that we have started recycling waste material originate from the process of production.

We also aid the modernization of the environment protection in Hungary – which is needed for the access to the EU – with the development of a recycling technology

so far not existing in our country . By employing this technology we can embark

on utilizing the powder varnish waste matter originate in Hungary.

Concrete aims:

Recycling the powder varnish waste originate from powder painting.

Developing a recycling technology less loading to the environment.

Answering to the criteria of EU concerning the repurchase and the circulation of the waste

originating this way.

By executing the aims:

He state of our environment will improve. We will develop an environmental protectionist industrial technology unique in Hungary, which is suitable for recycling powder varnish, a dangerous waste material. Through the recycling process the competitiveness of Hungarian economy will grow. By collecting and recycling powder varnishes we could reduce the amount of pollution – getting into the environment or the total amount of waste material originating from our gross economy. Hungary’s access to the EU could be contributed to on the level of environmental protection .

Measurable aims (technical features, facts, data):

» Recycling powder varnish waste material – originating from the process of powder painting, approximately 970 ton/year, as well as approximately ton idle investories. » With this new method we will be able to recycle all the waste that come from all types of powder coating that is either without regarding its concrete components. » Those materilas that are not suitable for producing powder coating should be separated for other utilization ( filling/binder for plastic floors) » Separating waste mixed with waste powder coating that cannot be utilized during the recycling technology – foreign substance, paper, others).

Quick statistics of situation survey:

The initial system forming the basis of sampling consisted of more than 1000 enterprises working with surface protection.

Of course, there are less enterprises concerned with the topic of powder coating waste matter, but the number of those who were concrete asked added up to almost 300.

The ratio of response was 75%, which, as it clearly shows to those who have an experience in information research, is a very high ratio.

On the basis of the inquiry was written down the amount of powder coating waste material per year: 126,8 tons

On the basis of the inquiry was written down the yearly amount of after-the-deadline powder coating products: 166,5 tons

The total annual amount of so originating powder coating waste material and the after-the-deadline powder coating products: 293,3 tons

Ratio of responses: 74,6% --- Ratio of sampling: 50%

Ont the basis of the above the gross amount of yearly originating powder coating waste material: 786,3 tons

The yearly arised product loss: 110 tons

Total: 896,3 tons

Earlier estimated value: 970 tons

Difference: -73,7 tons (-7,6%)

The reason and extent of difference can be identified with the mistrust experienced when giving answers during the inquiry and concealing data.

-50% of the examined amount was suitable for recycling

-the rest fell into the wrong fraction in the sift, could not be used as powder coating

-we experiment concerning with the usability of a major part of the leftover 50% material

-there is a possibility to use it as a filling (press powder, floor mass, glue material, filling material, of polyester utilizers, etc) which is the subject matter of the improvements second phase

-We have reached results regarding 10 different powder coating waste materials. As the result of the material consumption test, from the 10 different, powder coating waste materials we gained as a final product 10 different, powder coating products of full value with suitable parameters/features, which we all used up as concrete/specific products.

-there is a possibility to use it as a filling (press powder, floor mass, glue material, filling material, of polyester utilizers, etc)

-new possibilities occur for the utilization in the form of bathroom mosaic tiles, flooring utilization at abrick factory, polyester buildings (toilet, porter’s lodge) shoe soles

-this is entirely the subject matter of the 2nd phase of the development
