auseinander. Dabei finden sie persön-liche Ansätze und individuelle Wege, wenn es darum geht, sich dem Neuem zu stellen. Die Besucher_innen des Museion treffen hier auf eine heterogene und manchmal anspruchsvolle Kunst, die von der jungen regionalen bis zur internatio-nalen Szene reicht.Die Differenz innerhalb komplexer – zeitgenössischer – Identitäten steht im Zentrum der Einzelausstellung der französischen Künstlerin Lili Reynaud-Dewar, mit der wir das Ausstellungsjahr 2017 im Museion eröffnen. Die Diversität in ihren vielseitigen Schattierungen und im Bezug zu den Begriffen „Heimat” und „Vaterland” ist das Thema einer vom dies-jährigen Gastkurator des Museion Nicolò Degiorgis betreuten Ausstellung.Angesichts der Krise der Demokratie in vielen Ländern erscheint die Position von Július Koller aktueller denn je. Museion widmet dem slowakischen Künstler eine große Einzelausstellung. Mit dem wiederkehrenden Motiv des Tennis- und Tischtennisspielens verknüpft er in sei-nem Werk Spiel und Sport mit politischem Statement. Wie in einigen Werken von Július Koller taucht auch in der Herbst-ausstellung “INSTALLATION ART. Begeh-bare und raumgreifende Kunst der Sammlung Museion” die Partizipation wieder auf. Die Ausstellung präsentiert Installationen, die das Publikum einladen, sich physisch damit auseinanderzusetzen.Als Direktorin ist es mir ein Anliegen, dass sich alle Besucher_innen – als un-sere Gäste – wohl fühlen, sobald sie das Haus betreten. Wir legen daher beson-deren Wert auf die Zuvorkommenheit und Zuverlässigkeit des Personals unseres Infocenters und auf die Bereitschaft der Mitarbeiter_innen in den Ausstellungs-räumen zum Dialog mit dem Publikum. Sobald das „Eis gebrochen ist”, öffnet sich ein vielfältiges Vermittlungsprogramm, das wir ständig weiterentwickeln und mit neuen Formaten ergänzen.

Museion è il luogo del confronto vivace con l’arte contemporanea, quell’arte che si caratterizza per essere diversa, altra, per il suo pensiero radicale, che ci spinge a sentire il mondo intorno a noi con maggio-re consapevolezza. Questo non significa automaticamente capire. A Museion persone con diversi interessi culturali e di diverse fasce d’età si confrontano con ciò che è sconosciuto, trovando approcci per-sonali per rapportarsi al nuovo. I visitatori e le visitatrici di Museion trovano un’arte che spazia dalla giovane scena locale fino a quella internazionale.La differenza all’interno di identità com-plesse della contemporaneità è al centro della personale dell’artista francese Lili Reynaud-Dewar, che apre la stagione espositiva. La diversità nelle sue molteplici sfaccettature e in riferimento ai concetti di “Heimat” e “patria” oggi è il tema della mostra curata da Nicolò Degiorgis, nuovo curatore ospite a Museion.Alla luce della crisi della democrazia in tanti paesi, risulta più attuale che mai la posizione di Július Koller, a cui Museion dedica una vasta personale. Con il moti-vo ricorrente del tennis e del tennis tavolo nella sua opera l’artista slovacco collega il gioco e lo sport a uno statement politico. L’aspetto partecipativo di diversi suoi la-vori si ritrova anche nella mostra autun-nale sulla collezione “INSTALLATION ART. Entrare nell’arte della Collezione Museion”. L’esposizione presenta installazioni con le quali il pubblico è invitato a confrontarsi fisicamente.Come direttrice è molto importante per me che il visitatore si senta accolto e a proprio agio appena varca la soglia di Museion. Diamo perciò particolare importanza alla cortesia e all’affabilità del personale dell'infocenter, così come alla disponibilità del personale di sala a entrare in dialogo con i visitatori. Museion is a place for striking encoun-ters with contemporary art, the art that stands out for being different, and for its radical approach that encourages us to experience the world around us with greater awareness. This does not neces-sarily imply intellectual comprehension. In Museion people of different ages, with different cultural interests, engage with the unknown, finding personal ap-proaches and ways to relate to the new. Visitors will discover art that ranges from young local artists to those from the inter-national scene.The idea of difference and the complex identities of the contemporary period is the focus of the solo show by the French artist, Lili Reynaud-Dewar, which opens the 2017 exhibition programme. The mul-tifaceted nature of diversity, examined in relation to the notions of “Heimat” and “homeland” is the theme of the exhibition curated by Nicolò Degiorgis, Museion’s guest curator.In light of the current crisis of democracy in many countries, the position of artist, Július Koller, is more relevant than ever. A personal show of his works will be ex-hibited at Museion this year. By using the recurring motive of tennis and table-ten-nis in his work, the Slovakian artist relates games and sport to a political statement. The participative aspect of several of his works comes up again in the exhibition planned for the autumn, “INSTALLATION ART. Walk-in and Expansive Works from the Museion Collection”. The show pre-sents installations that require physical involvement by the visitor.As Director, I feel it is very important to create a welcoming atmosphere where visitors feel at home. It is, therefore, our pri-ority to ensure that the info-center staff are friendly and helpful, and those on duty in the venue are always ready to engage visitors in conversation. Once the ice has been broken, we offer a vast range of con-stantly up-dated mediation activities.

Die Ausstellung präsentiert fotografische Arbeiten aus der Sammlung Museion. Portraits und Selbstportraits sowie Bilder eigener und fremder Körperlandschaften setzen sich mit Identität und Anderssein, mit dem menschlichen Körper sowie mit sozialen Räumen auseinander. Eine thematisch verwandte Auswahl von Skulpturen ergänzt diese Ausstellung. Dazu erfolgt in der Studiensammlung eine Präsentation von Fotoarbeiten aus der Sammlung Museion, die im weiten Sinn als politisch einzustufen sind. Der Bogen reicht dabei von direkter Kritik bis zum Entwurf idealer Gegenwelten.

Im zweiten Stock ergänzen Werke aus der Sammlung Goetz die Ausstellung mit Werken von Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Ulrike Ottinger und Cindy Sherman.

The exhibition explores the photographic works in the Museion collection. Portraits and self-portraits – images of others’ bod-ies and one’s own – investigate the notions of identity and otherness, the body and social space. The exhibition also fea-tures a selection of sculptures around the same theme. In the room of the Studien-sammlung there will be a small show on political photography. Like in the main ex-hibition, the works come from the Museion collection. The sense of what is defined “political” will range from direct critique to the representation of alternative visions.

The exhibition is completed by a selec-tion of works from the Sammlung Goetz in Munich by artists Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Ulrike Ottinger and Cindy Sher-man, on the second floor of the museum.

La mostra propone un percorso attraver-so le opere fotografiche della Collezione Museion. Ritratti e autoritratti, imma-gini del proprio corpo e di quello altrui indagano i concetti di identità e alterità, corpo e spazio sociale. Completa il per-corso una selezione di sculture sulle stesse tematiche. Parallelamente alla mostra, nella sala della collezione studio ci sarà una presentazione di fotografie politiche nel senso più ampio del temine. Le opere esposte rappresentano sia una diretta presa di posizione critica, sia visoni alter-native alla realtà esistente.

La mostra è completata al secondo piano del museo da una selezione di lavori dalla Sammlung Goetz di Monaco delle artiste Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Ulrike Ottinger e Cindy Sherman.

Wie definiert man kulturelle Identität? Was beeinflusst deren Entstehung? Indem Lili Reynaud-Dewar sich auf Freiheitsbewegungen und Subkulturen des 20. Jahrhunderts bezieht, hinterfragt sie sexuelle, ethnisch fokussierte sowie politische Regeln und Stereotypen des 20. Jahrhunderts, die zur Entstehung individu-eller Identität beitragen. Die Ausstellung präsentiert Installa tionen, Videos und Objekte, darunter auch so genannte Grills – über den Zähnen getragener Schmuck, der in der Rap- und Hip-Hop-Kultur die Funktion von Reliquien und Statussymbo-len einnimmt und den sich die Künstlerin provozierend aneignet. Die mit den Grills vorgenommene Manipulation des Körpers verweist auf ein tragendes Element der Ausstellung, das Cyborg Manifesto der Feministin Donna Haraway, das für die Auflösung der im westlichen Denken verankerten rigiden Trennung zwischen Mensch, Natur und Maschine plädiert.

Lili Reynaud-Dewar (La Rochelle, Frank-reich 1975, lebt in Paris und Grenoble) war mit ihren Einzelausstellungen unter ande-rem im New Museum in New York (2014), in der Kunsthalle Basel (2010) sowie in der Ge-nerali Foundation in Wien (2012) vertreten. 2015 nahm sie an der Biennale in Venedig teil. Auf Einladung des Gastkurators Pierre Bal Blanc schuf sie für das Museion das Vi-deo Live Through That ?!, in dem sie nackt durch die leeren Ausstellungsräume des Hauses tanzt. What is cultural identity defined by? What influences the way it is construct-ed? Drawing on the liberation move-ments and subcultures of the twentieth century, Reynaud-Dewar explores the rules and stereotypes of a political, racial and sexual nature that forge an indi-vidual's identity. The exhibition presents installations, videos and objects – includ-ing the so-called grills – teeth decorations that are a status symbol in rap and hip hop culture, which the artist provoca-tively appropriates. The fact of using grills to modify the human anatomy in turn recalls another key element of the show, the essay 'A Cyborg Manifesto' by the feminist scholar Donna Haraway, a metaphor for the blurring of the hard and fast dividing line between man, machine and nature in Western thought.

Lili Reynaud-Dewar (La Rochelle, France 1975, lives in Paris and Grenoble) has had solo exhibitions in institutions such as the New Museum in New York (2014), Kun-sthalle Basel (2010) and Generali Founda-tion Vienna (2012). In 2015 she took part in the Venice Biennale. At the invita-tion of guest curator Pierre Bal Blanc for Museion she produced the video Live Through That?!, which featured her danc-ing naked through the empty museum. The Museion exhibition is her first solo show in an Italian museum.

Da cosa è definita l’identità culturale? Cosa influisce sulla sua costruzione? Fa-cendo riferimento a movimenti di libera-zione e subculture del Ventesimo secolo, Lili Reynaud-Dewar si interroga sulle regole e gli stereotipi sessuali, razziali e politici che costruiscono l’identità indivi-duale. La mostra presenta installazioni, video e oggetti – tra cui i cosiddetti grills, decorazioni per i denti con funzione di reliquie e status symbol della cultura rap e hip hop, di cui l’artista si impossessa provocatoriamente. La manipolazione del corpo operata dai grills richiama a sua volta un ulteriore elemento portante della mostra, il Cyborg Manifesto della fem-minista Donna Haraway, metafora dello scioglimento della rigida suddivisione tra uomo, macchina e natura del pensiero occidentale.

Lili Reynaud-Dewar (La Rochelle, Fran-cia 1975, vive a Parigi e Grenoble) ha all’attivo mostre personali presso istitu-zioni come il New Museum di New York (2014), Kunsthalle Basel (2010), Generali Foundation Vienna (2012). Nel 2015 ha partecipato alla Biennale di Venezia. Diese Ausstellung ist die umfangreichste jemals gezeigte Retrospektive zum Werk von Július Koller (Piestany, Slowakei 1939 – Bratislava, 2007), der in den sechziger Jahren in Osteuropa zu den bedeutends-ten Künstlerpersönlichkeiten gehörte und seit seiner Wiederentdeckung in den frü-hen neunziger Jahren zu einem wichtigen Referenzpunkt für eine junge Generation von Kunst- und Kulturschaffenden gewor-den ist. Mit seinen Arbeiten positionierte er sich nicht nur in kritischer Distanz zur kommunistischen Regierung und zu deren offiziellen Kunst, sondern stellte auch die Tradition der Moderne und die Konven-tionen des westlichen Kunstbetriebs in Frage. Wiederkehrende Fragezeichen, Plus-und Minus-sowie Oben-und Unten-Zeichen, Netze, Spielfelder sowie Ping-pong-und Tennisbälle bilden in diesem Werk ein Feld miteinander verbundener Symbole. Mit ihnen verschlüsselt und erschließt Koller die Bedeutung der ihn umgebenden Welt. Tennis und Pingpong sind hier nicht nur partizipative künstleri-sche Motive, sondern auch ein politisches Statement. Die Spielregeln im Sport ver-weisen für Koller auf eine demokratische Fair-Play-Situation mit festgelegten Gren-zen – eine Position, die nichts von ihrer Ak-tualität verloren hat. Neben international bekannten Werken sind in der Ausstellung nie zuvor präsentierte Arbeiten, Archiv-materialien und Ephemera zu sehen. Die konzeptuellen Fotografien des Künstlers stellen eine Verbindung zur laufenden Ausstellung „Die Kraft der Fotografie” mit fotografischen Arbeiten aus der Samm-lung Museion her.

The exhibition presents the largest retrospective shown to date of the works of Slovak artist Július Koller (Piestany, Slo-vacchia 1939 – Bratislava, 2007). Koller is one of the most important artists in East-ern European since the 1960s, whose art had and has considerable international significance. His work developed in criti-cal distance to the communist authorities and their official art, and it also ques-tioned traditions in modernism and the conventions of the Western art business. A Dadaist spirit, radical-skeptical stance and innovative approach characterise his work, and he uses the question mark as a universal symbol of his criticism of everyday life and reality. Koller saw ten-nis and table tennis as participatory art forms and here, too, he combined sport with political statement by demanding that the rules of the game and fair play be adhered to – as the basis of all social action – a statement that is of utmost relevance even today, given the current international political situation. Along-side works of international relevance inedited works, archive material and ephemera will be present ed. A number of photographic works by the artists cre-ate a link to the exhibition of the Museion Collection, “The Force of Photography”, contemporarily on show at Museion.

La mostra si presenta come la più vasta retrospettiva mai dedicata a Július Koller (Piestany, Slovacchia 1939 – Bratislava, 2007) tra le personalità artistiche più importanti dell’Est Euro-pa dagli anni Sessanta. Nei suoi lavori Koller si pone a distanza critica rispetto al governo comunista e alla sua arte ufficiale, ma mette in discussione anche le tradizioni della modernità e le con-venzioni del sistema dell’arte occiden-tale. Spirito dadaista, atteggiamento scettico-radicale e approccio innova-tivo caratterizzano la sua opera, che nel punto interrogativo trova il simbolo universale della messa in discussio-ne della quotidianità e della realtà. Il gioco del tennis e del ping pong sono utilizzati da Koller come forma artistica partecipativa: collegando lo sport a uno statement politico, l’artista riven-dica così l’attenersi alle regole e il fair play come base dell’azione sociale – statement che conserva ancora oggi la sua piena attualità. Oltre a lavori noti a livello internazionale, l’esposizione presenta anche opere, materiali d’ar-chivio ed ephemera inediti – diverse fotografie concettuali dell’artista legano la sua personale alla mostra sulle opere fotografiche della collezione Museion “La Forza della Fotografia”.

Die Ausstellung des Gastkurators Nicolò Degiorgis deutet die Begriffe „Heimat” und „Vaterland” angesichts der aktuellen politischen Lage in Europa neu. Globa-lisierung und Einwanderung offenbaren heute die Zerbrechlichkeit demokratischer Systeme und liberaler Werte, während populistische Kräfte die politischen und sozialen Fundamente westlicher Gesell-schaften zunehmend destabilisieren. Die Ausstellung präsentiert unter anderem Videos, Dokumente und Publikationen und stützt sich auf eine dialektische Struktur, indem sie auch entgegengesetz-te Konzepte und Eigenschaften miteinan-der kommunizieren lässt. Es werden im Laufe des Jahres 2017 fünf Künstlerbücher in der Passage ausge-stellt. Parallel dazu werden diese an einem Ort außerhalb des Museion ge-zeigt, der mit der Thematik des jeweiligen Buches in Beziehung steht.

Nicolò Degiorgis (Bozen, 1985) studierte orientalische Sprachen an der Universität Ca’ Foscari in Venedig und in Beijing. Er lehrt künstlerische Fotografie an der Frei-en Universität Bozen und im Gefängnis der Südtiroler Landeshauptstadt. Nicolò Degiorgis ist Gründer des Verlags Rorhof und Kurator der Galerie foto-forum in Bozen. Seine Arbeiten wurden im In- und Ausland ausgestellt. Für seine Publikati-on Hidden Islam (Der verborgene Islam) wurde er auf dem Festival Recontres d’Arles 2014 mit dem Preis für den besten Bildband ausgezeichnet.

La mostra del curatore ospite Nicolò Degiorgis rilegge i concetti di “Heimat” e “patria” alla luce della situazione attuale in Europa. Qui globalizzazione e immi-grazione fanno emergere tutta la fragilità delle democrazie e dei valori liberali, mentre spinte populistiche destabilizzano i fondamenti politici e sociali. Hämatli & Patriæ presenta opere, video, documenti e pubblicazioni e si sviluppa attraverso una struttura dialettica, mettendo in dia-logo concetti e qualità, anche opposti. Nell’arco del 2017 verranno presentati a Museion Passage cinque libri d’artista. Parallelamente questi saranno presentati in luoghi esterni a Museion e connessi ai temi di ogni libro.

Nicolò Degiorgis (Bolzano, 1985) studi in Lingue Orientali alla Ca’ Foscari di Ve-nezia e a Pechino. Degiorgis insegna fo-tografia artistica all’Università di Bolzano e nelle carceri del capoluogo. È fondato-re della casa editrice Rorhof e curatore presso la galleria foto-forum di Bolzano. Come artista fotografo, ha all’attivo diverse mostre in istituzioni e rassegne nazionali e internazionali. Per il suo libro Hidden Islam (islam nascosto) gli è stato conferito il premio come miglior libro d’autore dal prestigioso Festival Recon-tres d’Arles nel 2014.

The exhibition of the Guest Curator, Nicolò Degiorgis re-reads the concepts of “Heimat” and “Homeland” in the light of the current political situation in Europe, where globalization and immigration are highlighting the fragility of democracies and liberal values, while populist forces are undermining the foundations of poli-tics and society. The show presents works, videos, documents and publications and uses a dialectical structure to forge a dia-logue between different, sometimes op-posing concepts and values. During 2017 five artist books will be presented in the Museion Passage and, contemporarily, in external locations selected in relation to the theme of each book.

Nicolò Degiorgis (Bolzano, 1985) studied Oriental languages at Ca' Foscari Univer-sity in Venice and in Beijing, and teaches artistic photography at the University of Bolzano and in the city's prisons. Über 60 Papierarbeiten, die mit Tusche oder Aquarell ausgeführt sind, bieten einen Einblick in das faszinierende Oeu-vre der Künstlerin, das von der Schrift ausgeht, aber auf das lesbare Wort verzichtet. Was die Künstlerin beibehält, ist eine auf vertikale oder horizontale Linien reduzierte Schreibbewegung und eine poetische Gliederung ihrer fiktiven Texte in Zeilen und Schriftblöcke, wie wir sie von Büchern, Zeitungen und anderen Publikationen kennen. Der deutliche Zug zum Meditativen, der Blanks Arbeiten eigen ist, wird verstärkt durch den inten-siven Einsatz der blauen Farbe. Die Aus-stellung stellt einen weiteren Schritt dar in der Erforschung der Werke des Archivio di Nuova Scrittura, die in der Sammlung Museion verwahrt werden.

Irma Blank (Celle, Deutschland, 1934, lebt und arbeitet in Mailand) benützt die Schrift als Ausdruck der Intuition, indem sie die sprachlichen Gesten auf „Urzei-chen” reduziert. In über 40 Jahren künst-lerischer Aktivität hat Irma Blank ihre Werke in Museen, Galerien und in interna-tionalen Großausstellungen präsentiert: u.a. auf der Documenta Kassel (1977), der Biennale von Venedig (1978), der Quadri-ennale Rom (2005), dem Centre Pompidou in Paris (2010), dem Kunsthaus Hamburg (2016), dem MAMbo Bologna (2016).

Oltre 60 lavori a inchiostro o acquerello su carta presentano l’affascinante opera dell’artista tedesca, che prende le mosse dalla scrittura per rinunciare alla parola leggibile. Ciò che ne risulta sono scrittu-re fittizie, che della scrittura conservano solo il gesto e formano blocchi di testo e capitoli come nelle pagine di libri e gior-nali. La tendenza alla meditazione, tipica del lavoro di Blank, è rafforzata dall’uso intenso del colore blu. Con la mostra di Irma Blank Museion continua l’indagine sulle opere dell’Archivio di Nuova Scrittu-ra conservate in collezione.

Irma Blank (Celle, Germania, 1934, vive e lavora a Milano) pratica la scrittura come strumento di conoscenza intuitive e riduce i segni linguistici a “Urzeichen”, segni primordiali. In oltre quarant’anni di attività, ha esposto le sue opere in musei, gallerie e rassegne internazionali come Documenta di Kassel (1977), la Biennale di Venezia (1978), Quadriennale di Roma (2005), Centre Pompidou di Parigi (2010), Kunsthaus Hamburg (2016), MAMbo Bologna (2016).

More than 60 works in ink or watercolour on paper present the intriguing oeuvre of the German artist, whose script-based aesthetic does away with the legible word, featuring poetic subdivisions of fictitious text into lines and blocks, as we know it in books, newspapers and other publications. The meditative spirit typical of her works is reinforced by the intense use of the colour blue. The Irma Blank exhibition in Museion continues the exploration of the works in the Archivio di Nuova Scrittura which are part of the collection.

Ein Publikumsgespräch mit der Künstlerin, in dem sie über die Vorstellung ihres zweiten Films La controfigura (Das Doub-le) sprechen wird. Dieser Spielfilm, an dem Rä di Martino seit längerer Zeit arbeitet, erscheint 2017 und ist ein Remake des Kultfilms The Swimmer (Der Schwimmer) aus dem Jahr 1968 mit Burt Lancaster in der Hauptrolle. The Swimmer verarbeitet eine Kurzgeschichte des US-amerikanischen Autors John Cheever. Die Vereinigung italienischer Museen für zeitgenössische Kunst AMACI hat den Film im Rahmen der vierten Ausgabe des Pro-jekts Museo Chiama Artista finanziell unterstützt.

Incontro pubblico con l’artista per parlare dell’uscita del suo secondo film, intitolato La controfigura. Il lungometraggio, in uscita nel 2017, è un remake del film culto The Swimmer (Un uomo a nudo) del 1968 con Burt Lancaster e ispirato a un racconto breve di John Cheever. AMACI – Associazione Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani ha partecipato al cofinanzia-mento del film nell’ambito della quarta edizione del progetto Museo Chiama Artista.

Public meeting with the artist to discuss the release of her second film, entitled La controfigura (the body double). The feature length film, slated to be released in 2017, is a remake of the 1968 cult movie The Swimmer with Burt Lancaster, based on a short story by John Cheever. The project has occupied Rä di Martino for a long period. As part of the fourth edition of the AMACI project entitled Museo Chiama Artista, the Italian As-sociation of contemporary art museums co-financed the film.

Die Ausstellung schließt das 2015 begon-nene Projekt Museum as Toolbox ab, an dem sich fünf europäische Museen für Gegenwartskunst beteiligt haben: Kunst-haus Graz, KUMU Tallinn, MSU Zagreb, Museion Bozen und MS Łódz’. Mit einem Residency-Programm hinterfragt Museum as Toolbox Instrumente und Inhalte, mit denen ein Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst heute mit Jugendlichen kommu-nizieren und interagieren kann. Dabei arbeiteten Künstlerinnen und Künstler im engen Kontakt mit musealen Institutionen und Jugendlichen. Die im Verlauf dieses Prozesses entwickelten Projekte stehen in der Ausstellung nicht nur in Beziehung zueinander, sondern reagieren auch auf die Sammlungen der einzelnen Museen. Dabei werden die Projekte der Wander-ausstellung den unterschiedlichen muse-alen Standorten angepasst.

La mostra segna la conclusione del progetto europeo Museum as Toolbox, che ha visto Museion collaborare con Kunsthaus Graz (Austria), KUMU Tallinn (Estonia), MSU Zagreb (Croazia) e MS Łódz’ (Polonia). Quali strumenti e conte-nuti può usare il museo d’arte contempo-ranea oggi per relazionarsi ai giovani? Il progetto si è interrogato su questa tematica articolandosi in un sistema di residenze di artisti, che hanno lavorato a stretto contatto con le istituzioni e i giova-ni di ogni città. In questa mostra itine-rante, i progetti sviluppati nelle residenze sono messi in relazione tra loro e con le collezioni ciascun museo. Ogni progetto viene quindi ricontestualizzato nel museo che ospita la mostra.

The exhibition marks the conclusion of the European project Museum as Toolbox, launched in 2015. The initiative involves five European contemporary art muse-ums: Kunsthaus Graz, KUMU Tallinn, MSU Zagreb, Museion Bozen and MS Łódz’. Exploring the tools and contents that contemporary art museums can use to reach out to young people, it com-prised a series of residencies for artists who worked closely with the institutions and young people in each city. The exhi-bition connects up the resulting projects and also forges a link with the collections in each museum: each project engages with the museum that hosts the touring exhibition.

Das Kleine Museion zeigt drei neue Projekte von drei Fotografen, die in unterschiedlicher Art und Weise mit Südtirol verbunden sind. Im Mittelpunkt dieser zwischen dokumentarischem und künstlerischem Anspruch angesiedelten Ausstellungsreihe steht das Verhältnis zwischen fotografischer Formsprache und aktuellem Zeitgeschehen.

Il Piccolo Museion ospita tre progetti inediti firmati da tre fotografi legati in modo diverso al territorio altoate-sino. Ognuno di loro conduce una ricerca su tre territori diversi e le persone che da questi territori sono fuggite, vi sono giunte o vi resistono. Tra taglio documentaristico e approccio artistico, la serie di mostre ruota attorno al rapporto tra linguaggio fotografico e attualità.

The Piccolo Museion venue presents three new projects by three photographers who are connected to the South Tyrol area in different ways. Each sets out to explore three different territories and the people who have left, arrived here or decided to stay put. With an approach that combines reportage and art, the exhibition series revolves around the relationship between photographic practice and current affairs.

Dass der Titel „ikea“ ein durch den Einfluss einer Weltmarke vertrautes häusliches Universum – als Raum für den eigenen Körper – heraufbeschwört, ist kein Zufall. Den Raum des Kleinen Museion bespielt Annamaria Ajmone in einem zeitlich ausgedehnten Stück zur 61-minütigen Komposition Thursday After-noon von Brian Eno.

Non a caso il titolo “ikea” evoca un universo casalingo condiviso grazie a un noto brand che permette di costruire spazi abitativi personali. Un corpo – quello di Annamaria Ajmone – abiterà lo spazio del Piccolo Museion esibendosi in una “durational piece” sul pezzo Thursday Afternoon del musicista Brian Eno.

Choosing to title a performance “ikea” undoubt-edly conjures up visions of the domestic sphere, and the idea of creating a space for one's body. In this case the body of Annamaria Ajmone inhabits the Piccolo Museion venue in a durational piece set to the 61 minute track Thursday Afternoon by Brian Eno.

Paul Thuile erfasst Architektur-studios in Bozen indem er auf deren Wände interne Details oder Stadtansichten zeichnet. Er dringt dabei in den Bereich intimer Dimension und zugleich in den öffentlichen Raum des Kleinen Museum vor.

Paul Thuile plans to map out a number of architectural firms of the city of Bolzano, using the walls of their buildings to sketch elements of interiors or views of the city, working in an intimate sphere which opens up to the public space of the Piccolo Mu-seion venue.

39NULL ist ein mehrsprachiges Kultur- und Gesellschaftsmagazin, das nach Südtirol und weit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus-blickt. Dahinter steht ein Kollektiv, das die Inhalte der Printausgabe in das Atelierhaus ausdehnt. In diesem Sinn arbeitet 39NULL mit dem Museion zusammen und kuratiert im Atelierhaus zwei eigene Ausstellungen die auf dem Thema der aktuellen Ausgabe des Magazins, „Aufbruch” basieren.

39NULL nasce come piattaforma per raccontare la vita culturale dell’Alto Adige e fuori dai suoi confini. Nato come rivista tri-lingue, il collettivo di 39NULL espande i con-tenuti dell’ultimo numero della rivista nello spazio della Casa Atelier. Con questo spirito si apre la collaborazione con Museion, che nella Casa Atelier ospita due appuntamenti curati dal collettivo partendo dal tema di quest’anno della rivista, “Aufbruch”.

39NULL is a platform devoted to the cul-tural life not only of South Tyrol but also the surrounding area. Originally launched as a magazine in three languages, the 39NULL collective also displays the contents of the magazine in the Atelier House. This is the basis for the collaboration with Museion, which is set to present two exhibitions curated by the collective in its Studio House, addressing the focus theme of the current edition of the magazine, “Aufbruch“.

Museion’s art mediators accompany the public through the current exhibitions. This format focuses on the enhancing the experience of the visitor upon encounter-ing the work of art and on an exchange of personal reflections and impulses.

Die Führungen mit Direktorin Letizia Ragaglia sind eine einzigartige Gelegen-heit, um einen Blick hinter die Kulissen zu werfen und aus erster Hand mehr über das Konzept der Ausstellung, die gezeigten Werke und die Künstler_innen zu erfahren.

Anlässlich der Aktivierung des Studien-zweigs Kunst an dem Bachelorstudien-gang Design und Künste der Freien Universität Bozen wird die neue Vortrags-reihe die Beziehung zwischen Kunst und Design thematisieren.

Il rapporto tra arte e design è al centro del nuovo ciclo di conferenze, che prende spunto dall’attivazione del curriculum in Arte nel Corso di Laurea in Design e Arti della Libera Università di Bolzano.

The relationship between art and design is at the centre of this year’s series of artiparlando in order to mark the launch of the major in Art in the Bachelor pro-gramme in Design and Art at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

Ausgehend von aktuellen Ausstellungen erläutert An-dreas Hapkemeyer Themen, Konzepte und Werke und führt die Besucher_innen auf Entdeckungsreise durch die Kunstgeschichte. Der Kurzvortrag ist verbunden mit einem Gang durch die Ausstellung, wobei Fragen vom Publikum immer sehr willkommen sind.

Avvicinarsi alle mostre, ai concetti e alle storie die-tro alle opere esposte: Andreas Hapkemeyer guida il pubblico, anche non esperto, in un viaggio affascinan-te nella storia dell‘arte. L’incontro è organizzato come conferenza breve e include un momento in mostra, così come spazi di scambio con i visitatori.

Andreas Hapkemeyer, Head of Research and Teaching at Museion, leads visitors (including non-experts) through the current exhibitions, taking them on a fascinating jour-ney into art history. The event is organised in two parts, one in the exhibition and the other as a short conference. Both parts have space for discussion with the public.

Ein regelmäßig stattfindender, geselliger Austausch, bei dem nicht immer nur die Kunst im Mittelpunkt steht: Anlass zum Erzählen können ein Kunstwerk, ein Text oder Gedicht, ein persönlicher Gegenstand, eine Melo-die, die Begegnung mit einer besonderen Person oder vieles mehr sein. Alle dürfen hier zu Wort kommen und werden gehört!

Un’attività che si svolge regolarmente, un momento di incontro, dove l’arte non è la sola protagonista. Gli spun-ti per il racconto possono essere opere d’arte, testi, poe-sie, un oggetto personale, una fotografia, una melodia oppure uno scambio con una persona speciale, e molto altro ancora. In questi incontri, chiunque lo desidera può prendere parola e raccontarsi!

A regular chance to meet up and exchange thoughts and ideas. Not only is an art work often the focus of discussion, but prose or poems, an object brought along by someone, a melody, a meeting with someone special, or much more still. Everyone has a chance to speak and be listened to!

Während unserer Tage der offenen Tür gibt es ein reiches Veranstaltungsangebot mit speziellen Führungen, Vorträgen in den Ausstellungen, ein Familienprogramm, Kulturevents und verschiede-ne Formate der Kunstvermittlung. An manchen unserer Open Days werden zusätzliche Events angeboten, wie etwa eine Diskussionsrunde am Tag der zeitgenössischen Kunst oder eine Video-projektion auf der Medienfassade zum Abschluss der Langen Nacht der Bozner Museen.

Durante le giornate delle porte aperte offriamo un ricco programma di eventi con visite guidate, relatori all’interno delle mostre, speciali formati per famiglie e una serie di appuntamenti culturali e di mediazione legati alle esposizioni. Alcune di queste giornate prevedono inoltre eventi speciali, come una tavola rotonda durante la Giornata del Contemporaneo e una proiezione video sulla facciata mediale a conclusione della Lunga Notte dei Musei di Bolzano.

During our open days, a rich programme of events is offered and generally includes guided tours, art speakers in the exhibitions, a family pro-gramme and a variety of mediation and cultural events related to the exhibitions. During certain open days there are additional special events, such as a round table discussion during Contem-porary Art Day, a video projection on the media facade, which concludes the long night of the Museums of Bolzano.

Spaß und Kreativität: Jeweils 5 Tage lang lassen sich die Kinder unter fachkundiger Betreuung und in ent-spannter Zweisprachigkeit von ausgewählten Werken der Ausstellung zu eigenen Ausdrucks- und Gestaltungs-formen inspirieren. Für ausreichend Bewegung, Spiel und Entspannung sorgen die Räume unserer Kids-Lounge und die Wiesen vor dem Museion.

L’attività si svolge sotto la guida dei nostri collaboratori in un clima rilassato e bilingue. Fun and creativity: during the 5-day module, partici-pants will be inspired by the works of art on show and will develop themes and forms of individual expression in a bi-lingual environment under the supervision of our experts. There is also a chance to relax or do a little movement in the kids lounge and on the grassy banks of the River Talfer.
