Im unteren Bereich des Penthouses

führt der Flur direkt in die Funkti-

onsküche, die sich nicht unmittel-

bar auf den ersten Blick zu erkennen

gibt. Den Raum bestimmt die lang

gezogene Unterschrankzeile, die

mit aufgesetzter Gerätesäule die Ar-

beitsnische vom Wohnelement der

Küche trennt. Der vordere Zeilen-

teil dient als Ablage, Servierfläche

und Stauraum wichtiger Utensilien,

die täglich griffbereit sein müssen,

der hintere Teil ist dem Zubereiten

und Kochen vorbehalten. Amerika-

nisch Nussbaum-Furnier (N33) um-

mantelt die maßgeschneiderte Säu-

le mit eingebauten Regalböden und

Schubladen aus dem gleichen Ma-

terial und prägt den Raum optisch.

Die grifflose Frontengestaltung wirkt

angenehm einheitlich und zurück-

haltend in Hochglanzlack L13. Im

Kontrast die 14 mm dünne Keramik-

Arbeitsplatte in Basalt Black.

On the lower floor of the penthouse,

the hallway leads directly to the func-

tional kitchen, although at first sight it

is not obvious that this is its purpose.

The room is dominated by a long run

of base units topped by a column con-

taining appliances, which separates

the working area from the living room

elements of the kitchen. The front part

of the kitchen run serves as a storage

surface, serving area and a place to

put frequently used utensils. The rear

part is reserved for food preparation

and cooking. The custom-made ap-

pliance column is clad in American

Walnut veneer (N33), which can also

be seen in the integrated shelving

and drawers. The column sets the

tone in the space. The lack of handles

gives the fronts a uniformly reserved

appearane in high gloss lacquer L13.

It stands in contrast to the 14 mm

ceramic worktop in Basalt Black.

Für zusätzlichen optischen Genuss ist

die Wohnküche für den After-Dinner-

Cocktail oder das Tiramisu vor außer-

gewöhnlichem Panorama platziert.

Zweizeilig im Hochformat konzipiert,

dient sie Martin Konrad hauptsäch-

lich zum Verfeinern, Mixen und Dar-

reichen von Speisen und Getränken.

Ist alles angerichtet, können Spüle

und Vorbereitungsfläche hinter auf-

faltbaren Möbelfronten verschwin-

den. Sichtbar bleibt nur eine grifflose,

in weißem Glattlack (L15) gehaltene

Schrankwand. Davor positioniert

sich, einem Raumteiler gleich, ein frei

stehender Kubus mit zusätzlichem

Stauraum und Durchreiche – die oft

auch als Bar tresen fungiert.

A visual feast to accompany after-

dinner cocktails or a serving of ti-

ramisu can be enjoyed in the living

room kitchen, which is situated in

front of an unusual panorama. Twin

runs of vertically aligned units are

used by Martin Konrad primarily for

dressing, mixing and serving food

and drink. Once everything has been

plated up, the sink and preparation

area are concealed from view behind

folding doors. All that can be seen of

the kitchen is a handleless expanse

of wall units in white smooth lacquer

(L15). Positioned in front like a room

divider is a freestanding cube offering

additional storage and service hatch –

that often fulfils the role of bar counter.

flächen- und Formgestaltungen.

Alle WARENDORF Küchenmöbel

lassen sich dabei multifunktional

verwenden. Sideboards können in

unterschiedlichsten Höhen, Breiten,

Tiefen, Oberflächen und Farben ge-

plant werden, mit Drehtüren oder

Auszügen, mit Konturleisten, Licht

und elektrischer Auszugsführung.

Dem Einsatzort – zum Beispiel in Bad,

Schlaf-, Wohn- und Arbeitsräumen

– sind dabei keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Jede gewünschte Form lässt sich als

Einzelmöbel oder als Teil der Wand-

gestaltung anfertigen.

An architecturally consistent style

is achieved by using the same

surface finishes, design flour-

ishes and shapes throughout. All

WARENDORF kitchen units are multi-

functional in this way. Sideboards can

be planned in all heights, widths and

depths, surface finishes and colours.

They may be fitted with doors or pull-

outs, with contoured profiles, inte-

grated lighting and electronically con-

trolled pull-outs. There are no limits to

where they can be fitted – be it the

bathroom, bedroom, living room or

office. Any design can be realised as a

standalone piece of furniture or wall

combination.

das horizontale Greifraumprofil für

eine umlaufende Struktur der Insel-

unterschränke auch über die Wangen

hinweg. Diese akzentuieren die nur

drei cm dünne Sandstein-Arbeitsplatte

in Desert Grey. Geöffnet glänzen Aus-

züge mit einem Organisations system

für Ordnung und Übersichtlichkeit.

Ganz nebenbei serviert die Dreifach-

Steckdose Anschlüsse für Internet,

Musik und sonstige Gerätschaften.

The gigantic kitchen island fills the

room with life. The special shade of

orange used for the high gloss fronts

(L13) radiates openness and joy. The

horizontal offset rail goes all the way

around the cupboards under the is-

land. When closed, they accentu-

ate the sandstone worktop in Desert

Grey, which is only three centimetres

thick. When open, the drawers reveal

a variable internal organisation sys-

tem that keeps everything tidy and

easy to find. A triple socket is also

available and provides connections

for internet, music and other electri-

cal devices.

Über die als Bartresen ausgebaute

Steinmauer ist die Küche einladend

mit der Halle verbunden. Die große,

in weißem Glattlack (L15) gehaltene

Funktionsinsel liegt offen dahinter

und die seitliche Paneelwand setzt

mit hochglänzendem Amberbaum-

Furnier (N34) Akzente. Das daran

fixierte Sideboard vollendet den

wohnlichen Charakter. Die horizonta-

le Ausrichtung der Küche wird durch

die schmale Griffleiste, die über die

gesamte Front verläuft, betont. Zeile

und Insel werden durch eine 14 mm

dünne Komposit-Arbeitsplatte in

Beach Iceberg abgedeckt.

Above the stone wall, which is used

as a bar counter, the kitchen connects

invitingly with the hallway. The large,

functional kitchen island in white

smooth lacquer (L15) is positioned

behind while the panelled wall to the

side sets a contrasting accent in high

gloss sweet gum tree veneer (N34).

The attached sideboard completes

the living room feel. The horizontal

lines of the kitchen are accentuated

by the slim handle rail that extends

across the entire width of the kitchen

front. Both the kitchen run and island

are topped by a 14 mm composite

worktop in Beach Iceberg.

Super 140 (L17) noch heller glän-

zen. Schön zur Geltung kommen so

auch die übereinander angeordne-

ten grifflosen Oberschränke, die viel

Stauraum bieten. Für eine unkompli-

zierte Nutzung sind die Auszüge aller

Unterschränke über ein integriertes

Greifraumprofil zu öffnen. Eine vier cm

hohe Granit platte deckt alle Bereiche

ab.

the wall to a height of three metres,

the kitchen defines the space and pro-

vides a visual focal point. It does not

just dominate the wall, it is also sets

the mood for the entire room. Day-

light floods onto the wall and makes

the diamond white high gloss lacquer

Super 140 (L17) appear even brighter.

It also accentuates the attractive ap-

pearance of the horizontally stacked

handleless wall units, which offer am-

ple storage space. An integrated off-

set rail makes it easy to reach in and

open the pull-outs in the base units. A

four centimetre slab of granite tops all

of the work surfaces.

An architectural solution for a kitchen

with elegant lounge character. It har-

moniously blends into the room; its

warm shades of wood add life to the

cool concrete. Like a sheet of music,

the horizontal grain pattern of the

Tineo veneer stretches without inter-

ruption across the entire front and

around the corners. The grid pattern

of the large-surface fronts is repeat-

ed, just like a chorus. An illuminated

niche emphasises the linear design

and adds an elegant lighting effect.

The generously dimensioned wall of

tall units offers masses of storage

space. Equipped with folding flap

doors without handles, the cupboards

open and close electrically. Backlit

glass shelves flood the interior with

light.

The interplay between the furniture

elements and the combination of

smooth and gloss lacquers in the light

special colour Black paired with the

new veneer Grey oak transforms the

space into a unique setting. The natu-

ral stone Grauwacke worktop pro-

vides an authentic counterpoint and

features a fully integrated hob and

sink with recessed tap.

The base units are fitted like low-

boards to the central pedestal of the

kitchen island. Drawers and pull-outs

with integrated internal lighting open

and close automatically thanks to

electrically-powered runners.

Two generously proportioned wall

unit combinations give the space

an unusually relaxed feel. The con-

necting door in gloss lacquer frames a

wall of shelves in smooth lacquer. The

opposite side of the room is finished

in the same material: a completely

floating wall combination set on top

of wall-mounted lowboards with con-

tour edges and electrical pull-outs. Its

fascinating interplay of depths, offset

cupboards, open and closed spaces

gives the space a unique atmosphere.

In the working kitchen, ergonomic

functionality and user comfort take

precedence. Open or closed, ceiling-

height tall units provide ample stor-

age space. A particularly attractive

feature are the spacious two-metre-

wide cupboards with sliding doors

that overlap when open to save

space. The positioning of shelves and

partitions inside the cupboards is infi-

nitely variable and can be tailored to

meet the individual needs of the cook.

The eye-level cooking appliances and

dishwasher are optimally positioned

for ease of use. A fridge-freezer con-

nects directly with the entertaining

area for instant accessibility.

A highlight in the working kitchen is

the island positioned centrally in the

space. The island block is finished on

all sides in a sophisticated anthracite-

coloured laminate and is given a pro-

fessional finish by a slimline, 20 mm-

thick worktop in stainless steel. A

recessed sink and flush-mounted hob

ensure complete cooking pleasure.

An eye-catching detail is the design

of the utensil rail. It provides a home

for accessories such as a knife block,

herb pots and paper roll holder, all of

which slide sideways on rollers when

hooked onto the rail for a perfectly

harmonious effect. An integrated LED

light strip allows the lighting of the

niche and wall to be adjusted at will.

Floating lightly with its emphasis on

trend-setting design – Sahara smooth

lacquer paired with warm accents in

special colour Orange. Add to that

a 12 mm slimline glass worktop lac-

quered underneath in matching or-

ange. The wide base units and the

extra-wide wall unit are positioned

parallel to each other and serve to

elongate the room. This effect is

further emphasised by the 12 mm-

thick panels in the integrated open

shelves. The programme has been

extended to include wall mounted tall

units accommodating kitchen sup-

plies, dishwasher and a fridge and

featuring new depth dimensions for

greater usable space. The kitchen is

complemented by the tall unit from

the designer collection »Starck

by Warendorf«. With its floating

appliance niche, it underscores

the feeling of lightness as well as

offering additional storage capacity

and an integrated fridge.

Erlebnis macht. Der Mix der Modelle

London und Stockholm aus der Kol-

rendorf«. Natürliche Materialien sind

Basis der Philosophie, was sich ein-

drucksvoll in dieser Küche zeigt. Die

Stone Oak veneer provides the central

focus of the room and is finished in a

composite worktop in Beach Iceberg.

It is combined with two differently

designed tall units in white smooth

lacquer – one with the same framed

front as the island, the other with a

smooth front and appliance niche.

Asymmetrical in width, each con-

ceals storage space behind doors,

pull-outs and panels. Where the hot

appliance is inserted into one tall unit

as if into a frame, then its opposite

number offers an equivalent open

niche with panel cladding and space

to place decorative objects. A kitchen

that promises to be both stylish and

authentic.

tion in the width of the gap between

the fronts. The purity of its lines are

continued on the inside with a slimmed

down runner system on drawers

and pull-outs and a new range of

storage inserts. Exterior and interior

are united. Design and function are

harmonised.

The visual effect is strengthened by

the uniform internal colour scheme

and the matching materials in an

elegantly neutral shade of grey. The

interior appears as a coordinated

whole.

Drawers and pull-outs close quietly

and gently regardless of the width

of the pull-out or the weight of its

contents. Inside, the full width of the

pull-out can be fully utilised using

individually combinable inserts for

a perfect internal organisation and

optimal work flow. The inserts are

available in a choice of Natural oak

and Ash black with a non-slip mat in

an elegant white grey.

LED lighting allows the interior of the

units to be illuminated as required. In

this way, the contents of drawers and

pull-outs can be easily located, even

in the dark.
