Bibione is a wide green area containing a pine forest and unspoiled ilex groves surrounded by the sea, matching the fresh waters of the lagoon and the cold waters of the Tagliamento River, the alpine river being UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the thermal waters flowing underground which originate the Bibione hot springs.
