News from the Archives Office: There ie absolutely no reason for the Gleenings to be late, I started it early enough. I heve been looking for an excuse but I em unable to find one. So I ask you to excuse me. I hope you were not welting with beted breath,

Many visitors heve been in the past several weeks. They are looking into researching their relatives, homes end friends of old. Ue ere proud to eay people are usually surprised to see that we have so much material and friende are remembering to bring us mora.

Thanks to Esther Ensign for the fine Oxford American Dictionary. I tried to explain I couldn't look it up if I didn't know how to epell a word but she explained the process for thet. Thanks Esther, I appreciate it* Plaaae remember in copying the Diary thet I copy it as it ia. Sometimes I don't quite understand a word or tha meaning so I usually insert a question mark. Words of long ago were not apalled out ee we do it, but I try to do it ee close to their words as I cen. Footer did e much better job than I.

The trees outside my pleasant office were beeutiful a couple of weeks ago with the color change. Birds ere beginning to come beck and eet at the feeder that I am filling up agein-and I do meen filling up.

Our next Gleanings will be ready the first of January. So if you have something you went in it, please let me 'know.

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving end don't fill up on too much Turkey because Christmas will be just around the corner.

Marry Christmas tc All. and a
