サッポロビール博物館は北海道遺産に選定されました。サッポロビール博物館は「札幌苗穂地区の工場・記念館群」の一施設として「北海道遺産」に選定されました。札幌市の苗穂地区は明治期から「産業のまち」として栄え、現在もさまざまな明治の面影を残した工場や倉庫を残しており、苗穂駅近隣にある北海道鉄道技術館、雪印乳業史料館などと共に、北海道の産業史を知る上で貴重な記念館群を形成しています。The Sapporo beer museum was selected by "Hokkaido Heritage" as one establishment of "factory in Sapporo Naebo area and memorial hall crowd". Naebo area in Sapporo-shi shines out as "industrial town" from the Meiji period and also leaves the factory which left the trace in various Meiji and a depot at present, and when knowing industrial history in Hokkaido with the Hokkaido railway technology house and the Snow Brand Milk Products archives museum in the Naebo station neighborhood.

Historical materials on display here allow visitors to learn about the history of Sapporo Beer from its birth to the present through the introduction of the Hokkaido Development Commission that laid the foundation for the development of modern Japan in the early Meiji period.Suggestion on how to enjoy yourselves here: • Look around the Sapporo Gallery (free of charge) and sample your favorite beer products (paid tasting only) at reasonable prices (one drink from¥200). • Join the premium tour (¥500) and enjoy the taste of the revived version of the initial Sapporo Beer only available here to feel the history.

Sapporo Bier Garten, one of the must-see tourist spots in Sapporo, offers its genuinely great-tasting draft beers, including the freshest ones direct from the Hokkaido Brewery and the original beer’s KAITAKUSHI（Frontiers）Brewery. Fresh lamb Genghis Khan, a boast of Sapporo Bier Garten, and seasonal ingredients produced in Hokkaido are also served. Enjoy the flavor of the North to the fullest.

Sapporo Garden Park, a unique town featuring brick buildings, is a place of comfort allowing visitors to enjoy food, attractions and a relaxing time. In the center of the park stands a valuable red brick building that retains the atmosphere of the Meiji era. This building houses the Sapporo Beer Museum and the Sapporo Beer Garden Kaitakushi-kan, where you can explore history and learn about the history of the develop-ment of beer in Japan. Sapporo Garden Park offers a variety of unique opportunities to enjoy delicious Genghis Khan barbecued mutton and beer and savor every bit of Hokkaido’s attractions in your own way. Welcome to Sapporo Beer Museum, a place where you can learn about beer.

The Brand Communicator (attendant) of the museum introduces in ways easy to understand the history of beer in Japan from its birth in the early Meiji period to present and the passions of early settlers. As a premium exclusive to adult tour participants, the revived version of the earliest Sapporo Beer and Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label are offered at the end of the tour (tour duration: 50 minutes). The tour is ¥500 per adult, ￥300 per youth [from junior high school students to those under 20 years old], free of charge for elementary school and preschool children.

A movie introducing the passion of pioneers who vigorously pushed forward with domestic beer brewing is shown on the impressive 6K panoramic screen at the Premium Theater. *Available only for premium tour participants.

Star Hall is the place where you can enjoy fine-tasting beer direct from Sapporo Beer Hokkaido Brewery and Sapporo KAITAKUSHI（Frontiers） Brewery.

A variety of items that are not obtainable elsewhere, including original products and Kaitakushi Beer, are on sale. A good place to find souvenirs for your family and friends.

Compare the taste of the revived Sapporo Beer that has been brewed by strictly following the original brewing process in the company’s inauguration days and Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label that represents today’s beer.

The history of Sapporo Beer starting from the days of the Hokkaido Development Commissioners is introduced with valuable historical materials and easy-to-understand explanations. You can learn the history of the development of the Japanese beer industry in an enjoyable way as if seeing a historical picture scroll. The Adv. Collection Gallery showing a collection of the company’s posters from the Meiji period to present is also recommended.

This hall with a slim, gracious shape like a poplar tree has both a modern and classical atmosphere. The seating capacity is the largest of all the facilities in the Sapporo Bier Garten.

A massive, classical hall. Popular dishes include not only Genghis Khan barbecued mutton but also “Trommel Table Buffet” that allows you to enjoy sushi, crab and other delicacies as much as you like.

The name of this main hall that symbolizes Sapporo Bier Garten comes from the kessel (cauldron for brewing beer) that was manufactured in 1912.

A wide variety of dishes, from Genghis Khan-style barbecued lamb (designated as Hokkaido Heritage) that enjoys nationwide popularity as a healthy delicacy, to luxury foods prepared by making the most of locally produced ingredients, are offered at three halls each featuring a distinctive atmosphere.

A variety of food and souvenirs exclusive to Hokkaido, including original products sold only in Sapporo Bier Garten and Sapporo Classic Beer offered only in Hokkaido, are on sale.

Touch with your lips, relish with your tongue and gulp down with your throat. Sapporo Beer Garden allows visitors to enjoy every bit of the genuine delicacy of draft beer poured by the master of beer who knows every detail about draft beer.

Genghis Khan barbecued mutton has received the official "Hokkaido Heritage" designation. Sapporo Beer Garden offers carefully selected lamb meat which can be best enjoyed by dipping in a special sauce featuring fruit flavors.

For those who prefer to take time and learn on their ownThis free observation course is for those who prefer to take time and learn thoroughly on their own without being pressed for time. You may be able to find interesting episodes that might have been missed in the Premium Tour. Be sure to visit the Adv. Collection Gallery where a collection of beautiful women posters from the Meiji period are on display. You can also enjoy a beer of your choice at the Star Hall on the first floor (￥200 per drink).

Of the main dishes, “Marugoto Genghis Khan” allows you to compare the taste of five different parts of grain-fed lamb meat. You can also enjoy a la carte dishes and desserts that use local ingredients at this beer restaurant.
