Die Polizei in Deutschland, Europa und weltweit wird immer

mehr gefordert. Um reibungslose Einsätze gewährleisten

zu können, muss das Training entsprechend angepasst und

erhöht werden.

Die Aufgabenstellung an die Munitionshersteller war es dem-

entsprechend u. a. Patronen in 5,56 mm x 45 und 7,62 mm x 51

anzu bieten, die bleifrei sind, um die Gesundheit der Anwender

zu schützen und außerdem den Verschleiß der Schießstand-

materialien möglichst gering zu halten.

Die passende Lösung der MEN heißt LFI – Lead-free Indoor.

The police in Germany, Europe and all over the world is

needed more than ever. Training must be adapted and

expanded in order to ensure that operations go smoothly.

The tasks of ammunition manufacturers thus included

offering a lead-free 5,56 mm x 45 and and 7,62 mm x 51

cartridge to protect users’ health and minimise wear on

shooting range materials.

The solution MEN came up with to meet this demand is

called LFI – Lead-free Indoor.

The LFI’s point of impact is virtually identical with the dispersion pattern of the combat ammunition. This ensures solid training as there is barely any difference between the training and the combat ammunition.

Die Treffpunktlage der LFI entspricht nahezu identisch

dem Trefferbild der Einsatzmunition. Damit ist eine

fundierte Ausbildung gewährleistet, da Training- und

Einsatzmunition kaum voneinander abweichen.

Die Produkte aus der Green Ammunition-Linie sind kom-

plett bleifrei und schadstoffarm. So schonen sie die

Gesundheit der Schützen und insbesondere der Trainer,

auch bei intensivem Indoor-Training. Der Geschossaufbau

aus Aluminiumspitze und Zinkkern, bzw. nur Zinkkern,

der von einem verzinnten Kupfermantel umhüllt ist, ist

aber nicht nur bleifrei sondern sorgt auch für eine fast

identische Treffpunktlage zur Einsatzmunition. Dieser

Geschossaufbau ist auch der Grund dafür, dass die Rück-

prallmaterialien nur einen geringen Verschleiß aufweisen.

Die LFI gewährleistet ein intensives Training ohne Gesund-

heitsrisiko, einen geringen Verschleiß der Schießstände

und verhindert dadurch hohe Kosten.

completely lead-free and low in emissions.

Therefore, they protect the health of the shooters, and

especially of the trainers, even in intensive indoor training.

What›s more, the bullet composition of aluminium tip and

zinc core or just zinc core encased by a tin-plated copper

jacket, is not only lead-free but also provides an almost

identical point of impact as combat ammunition.

This bullet composition is also the reason why the rebound

materials show very little wear.
