ADJECTIVE ENDING ALGORITHM & SHORTCUTS
Examples for: "Adjective takes the ending a der-word WOULD have in that place"
Ich trinke deutsch___ Bier:
The der-word WOULD be "das": Ich trinke DAS Bier
==> Adjective takes that ending: Ich trinke deutschES Bier
Sie liebt franzsisch___ Wein:
The der-word WOULD be "den": Sie liebt DEN Wein
==> Adjective takes that ending: Sie liebt franzsischEN Wein
What's "Dictionary Form"?
DER (& diesER etc.) for Masc. nouns [Remember "ein" is NOT a determiner!]
DAS (& diesES etc.) for Neuter nouns [Remember "ein" is NOT a determiner!]
DIE, EINE (& diesE etc.) for Fem. nouns
Other Notes, Shortcuts & Reminders:
If the adjective does not precede "its" noun, it takes NO ending!
Two or more adjectives in a row all take the SAME ending!
ein with NO ending ==> Adjective "shows the gender" (der ==> -er, das ==> -es): ein frhER Vogel [M], mein sES Baby [N], ihr geilES Konzert [N]
Determiner + Plural ==> -en: die schnEN Augen, seine sEN kleinEN Ohren, mit ihren coolEN Piercings
Determiner with -en ==> -en: dEN kaltEN Kaffee, meinEN dickEN BMW, in meinEN dickEN BMWs, mit meinEN fettEN Reimen
viel (& wenig!) + Singular (NO Determiner) ==> no ending: viel Geld, viel Zeit, viel Spa, viel Glck, viel Arbeit, viel Energie

NOT DICT. FORM (INCL. ALL PLURAL NOUNS!) ==> -EN
