34 — THE AFG COMMITMENT

13- bis 19-jährige Schüler machten sich bis Ende September 2013 auf die Suche nach Fotomotiven. Gefragt waren Phänomene aus den Bereichen Natur und Technik. Die Schüler konnten zwischen zwei Kategorien wählen: Eine spontane Aufnahme oder eine geplante Aufnah-me. Eine spontane Aufnahme zeigt eine Alltagssituation mit naturwissenschaft-lichem oder technischem Inhalt – etwas nicht Arrangiertes aus der alltäglichen Umgebung. Im Gegensatz dazu wurde für die geplante Aufnahme eine spezielle Situation erzeugt oder es wurden spezielle Techniken angewendet.

Eine Jury mit Fachleuten aus den Berei-chen Forschung, Industrie, Bildung und Kunst beurteilt aktuell die Fotos und wird die drei besten Aufnahmen prämie-ren. Die Prämierung erfolgt erst nach Redaktionsschluss von «AFG WORLD». Die hier abgebildeten Fotos wurden von der AFG unabhängig vom Wettbewerb des Technoramas ausgewählt.

13 to 19-year old students went out in search of photo subjects until the end of Sep-tember 2013. heir assignment was to ind phenomena from the areas of nature and technology. he students had two categories to choose from: A spontaneous photo or a planned photo. A spontaneous photo shows an everyday situation with scientiic or tech-nical content – something from an everyday environment that has not been arranged. On the other hand, for the planned photo, a special situation was created or special technologies were applied.

ÜBER DAS TECHNORAMADas Swiss Science Center Technora-ma ist mit über 500 Experimentier-stationen und sechs Labors ein mit allen Sinnen erfassbares Erlebnis. Auf 6’500 m2 faszinieren die Phänome-ne aus Natur und Technik pro Jahr mehr als 250’000 Besucherinnen und Besucher. Das Ziel des Technoramas ist, Jugendliche – die Ingenieure von morgen – so früh wie möglich für Naturwissenschaft und Technik zu begeistern.

DIE AFG INVESTIERTIN DIE JUGENDGetragen wird das Technorama unter anderem von der Vereinigung Technorama & Wirtschaft VTW, ei-nem privatwirtschaftlichen Gönner-verband. Er unterstützt das Institut in seinem Auftrag, Naturwissenschaft und Technik einer breiten Öfent-lichkeit verständlich zu machen, be-sonders aber junge Menschen dafür zu begeistern. Die AFG ist seit 2009 Mitglied des VTW.
