Grundsanierung der Start- und Landebahn Nord

(RWY 07L/25R) am VerkehrsflughafenBerlin/Schönefeld (EDDB)

Ab 02 MAY 2015 werden die Start- und Lande-bahn Nord (RWY 07L/25R) sowie der Streifender Start- und Landebahn und die Start-/Lande-bahnendsicherheitsfläche (RESA) grundsaniert.Die Bauarbeiten werden mit ausreichend Sicher-heitsabstand zu den in Betrieb befindlichenFlugbetriebsflächen rund um die Uhr durchge-führt. Die Maßnahme wird in drei aufeinanderfolgenden Bauabschnitten schrittweise vonWest nach Ost durchgeführt. Über den gesam-ten Zeitraum der Bauarbeiten ist die RWY 07L/25R zum Starten und Landen gesperrt.Zum Starten und Landen wird ersatzweise dieStart- und Landebahn Süd (RWY 07R/25L) ge-nutzt. Zusätzlich stehen die Vorfelder D und Efür die Luftfahrzeugabfertigung zur Verfügung. Die Rollverkehrsführung zur RWY 07R/25L istan die jeweilige Bauphase angepasst. Hierzuwerden rollende Luftfahrzeuge die außer Betriebbefindliche RWY 07L/25R über festgelegte Roll-bahnen überqueren. In Abhängigkeit der Bau-phase ist auch das Rollen auf der außer Betriebbefindlichen RWY 07L/25R erforderlich. An denQuerungspunkten ist eine angepasste Beschil-derung sowie Mittellinien- und Rollbahnrand-markierung hergestellt. Zusätzlich ist einetemporäre Randbefeuerung errichtet. Die Mittel-linie ist im Bereich der Piste ab/bis zum CATII/IIIHaltebalken nicht befeuert. Sämtlicher Rollver-kehr bei Betriebsstufe CATII/III, bzw. bei Sicht-weiten (RVR) unter 400 m, wird während derDauer der Baumaßnahme über die Querungs-punkte per Follow-Me gelotst.

Renovation of runway north(RWY 07L/25R) at

Berlin/Schönefeld Airport (EDDB)

From 02 MAY 2015 on, runway north (RWY 07L/25R) as well as the runway strip and the runwayend safety areas (RESA) will be renovated. Theconstruction work will be conducted around theclock with a sufficient safety buffer to theoperating area in use. The work will beconducted progressively from west to east inthree successive construction phases. Duringthe entire duration of the work, RWY 07L/25Rwill be closed for take-offs and landings.

For take-offs and landings, runway south (RWY07R/25L) will be used instead. In addition,aprons D and E will be available for aircrafthandling. Guidance of taxiing traffic to RWY 07R/25L willbe adapted according to the differentconstruction phases. For this purpose, taxiingaircraft will cross the decommissioned RWY07L/25R on designated taxiways. Depending onthe construction phase, it will also be necessaryto taxi on the decommissioned RWY 07L/25R.At the intersection points, signs as well ascentreline lights and taxiway edge lights havebeen adapted accordingly. In addition,temporary edge lights have been installed. Thecentreline is not lighted in the runway area from/to the CATII/III stop bar. During the constructionwork, any taxiing traffic in CAT II/III operations,or in the case of a runway visual range (RVR)below 400 m, will be guided by follow-me carswhen crossing the intersection points.

Phase I: Der westliche Abschnitt der RWY 07L/25R inkl. Streifen und RESA wird aus dem Si-cherheitsbereich ausgegrenzt. Der Rollverkehrwird über K3/L6 sowie K4/L7 geführt (siehePlan: Crossing RWY 07L/25R-Phase I). Phase II: Der mittlere Abschnitt der RWY 07L/25R inkl. Streifen wird in "Insellage" saniert. DerRollverkehr wird über K1/Piste/L2 sowie K4/L7geführt (siehe Plan: Crossing RWY 07L/25R-Phase II). Phase III: Der östliche Abschnitt der RWY 07L/25R inkl. Streifen und RESA wird aus dem Si-cherheitsbereich ausgegrenzt. Der Rollverkehrwird über K1/Piste/L2 sowie K3/Piste/L3, L4oder L6 geführt (siehe Plan: Crossing RWY 07L/25R-Phase III).

Der jeweilige Bauabschnitt, die jeweils gültigenSperrzeiten- und bereiche sowie die entspre-chend angepasste Rollverkehrsführung werdenper NOTAM bekannt gegeben.

Mit der südlichen Kontrollzonenerweiterung wirdab 02 MAY 2015 der Pflichtmeldepunkt SIERRAzurückgezogen und der Pflichtmeldepunkt MIKE(Autobahnabfahrt A 13 Mittenwalde) eingeführt.

Anflüge nach Sichtflugregeln haben ab MIKE inmaximaler Flughöhe von 2500 ft MSL in nördli-cher Richtung rechts entlang der A13 bis zumAutobahnkreuz "Schönfelder Kreuz" und vondort bis zur südlichen Warteschleife zu erfolgen.

Abflüge nach Sichtflugregeln haben in einer ma-ximalen Flughöhe von 2500 ft MSL in südlicherRichtung bis zum Autobahnkreuz "SchönfelderKreuz" und von dort rechts entlang der A13 bisMIKE zu erfolgen.

SUP 04/15 wird aufgehoben.

Taxiing trafficwill be guided via K3/L6 and K4/L7 (see map:crossing RWY 07L/25R phase I). Phase II: The central section of RWY 07L/25Rincluding the strip will be renovated "in isolation".Taxiing traffic will be guided via K1/runway/L2and K4/L7 (see map: crossing RWY 07L/25Rphase II). Phase III: The eastern section of RWY 07L/25Rincluding the strip and RESA will be separatedfrom the security-restricted area. Taxiing trafficwill be guided via K1/runway/L2 and K3/runway/L3, L4 or L6 (see map: crossing RWY 07L/25Rphase III).

The relevant construction section, the validclosing times and closed areas as well as theadapted guidance of taxiing traffic will bepublished by NOTAM.

In connection with the extension of the controlzone to the south, the compulsory reportingpoint SIERRA will be replaced with the newcompulsory reporting point MIKE (motorway A13exit Mittenwalde) with effect from 02 MAY 2015.Starting at MIKE, VFR approaches shall notexceed an altitude of 2500 ft MSL and shall fly tothe north along the right side of the A13motorway up to the motorway interchange"Schönfelder Kreuz" and then follow to thesouthern holding pattern.VFR departures shall not exceed an altitude of2500 ft MSL and shall fly to the south until theyreach the motorway interchange "SchönfelderKreuz", then fly along the right side of the A13 upto MIKE.

This SUP supersedes SUP 04/15.
