Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man

The drawing and text shows the Proportions of Man,an example of the blend of art and science duringthe Renaissance. This image provides the perfectexample of Leonardo's keen interest in proportion. Inaddition, this picture represents a cornerstone of

Leonardo's attempts to relate man to nature.  Lil G

In order to study about anatomy and

human bone structure, Leonardodissected dead human body andstudied how its muscle and bones

worked. But Leonardo did it secretly, because he will be punished if caught for ruining the spiritualappearance of the human body.

Leonardo the scientist bridged the gap

between the shockingly unscientificmedieval methods and our own trustymodern approach. His experiments in

anatomy and the study of fluids(which Ithink is pretty cool), for example, absolutely blew away theaccomplishments of his predecessors.

What is beyond space? A question that hasboggled scientists for years. The way I see it isthat there is some end to it. I see as if a giantbarrier of a worm hole surrounds space and once

we hit that point, it warps us to the opposite sideof space. What is beyond that? Well in religions,it's eternal happiness and torture. Heaven andhell which is infinite as in infinite happiness. Thisis my theory on what space is like.

You know how Da Vinci couldbe counted as a prophet? Doyou agree with that statementand why? I say he is a prophetbecause he actually "foresaw"

traffic jams and designed thedouble-decker bridge. Also, heeven made designs of horseless carriages/cars to gowith it.

I tried thinking of inventionsand its hard. Da Vinci came upwith so many...plus hedesigned them. I could comeup with ideas but to design

them as well...that would takeme forever. I think that I nowappreciate his inventions even

a little more.

he of come up with thisidea for this, was it basedon an animal or was itpurely off the top of hishead.  TylerB
