The Schöllenen circular trail affords a deep view into the gorge and is easy to walk on (duration approx. 30 minutes).

The Suworow monument is a reminder of the battle which took place at the Schölle-nen Gorge on 25 September 1799. Russian troops under General Suworow fought against Napoleon’s soldiers and defeated the French.

Trekking with the Bärti and Co. pack goats is a unique adventure.

The Ursern Valley is the largest valley in Uri and offers almost unlimited possibilities in the heart of the Alps.

This 18-hole golf course is located in a spectacular natural setting between Andermatt and Hospental.

The well-preserved village centre is of na-tional significance. Typical of Andermatt are these traditional wooden houses built on a brick substructure.

This magnificent mountain panorama is best admired during a comfortable horse-drawn carriage ride.

The Diavolo fixed-rope route guarantees breathtaking views into the gorge and takes you from the Devil’s Bridge up to the Tüfelstalbode.

The Ursern Valley Museum is dedicated to the history of the valley and its culture and is one of the valley’s most beautiful patri-cian buildings.

The Antonini quarry in Wassen is a unique witness dat-ing back to the time when the Gotthard railway was built.
