liebe pandorianerinnen! liebe pandorianer!Eines der Privilegien, wenn man sich mit Pandora-Expo-naten beschäftigt, ist, dass man manche auch leibhaftig erleben kann. Und so kam mir die Idee, die Star Pap-padams aus Ausgabe 04/2011 (04d) im Rahmen eines Spieleabends bei meiner kulinarisch sehr aufgeschlos-senen Nachbarin sabine „sumsum“ lampart (Team „pillendreher“) zu verkosten. Alle anwesenden Delin-quenten waren sich einig: Nicht so wirklich für österrei-chische Gaumen interessant, obwohl sich die Zahnärzte vermutlich freuen würden. Denn um das Zeug wieder aus den Zähnen zu bekommen, braucht man teilweise professionelle Hilfe :-) Aber: Wir sind um eine Erfahrung reicher! That´s the Pandora spirit! :-)

Dear pandorians!One of the privileges of working on Pandora challenges is that some get to be physically experienced. And this is how I got the idea to taste the Star Pappadams from the 05/2011 issue during a games evening at my culinary very open-minded neighbour sabine “sumsum” lampart (Team pillendreher). All delinquents who were present agreed with each other: not really interesting for Austrian taste although the dentists would probably be over the moon. Because professional help was partly needed in or-der to get the stuff out of the teeth J But: we had gained an experience! That’s the Pandora spirit :-)

06c:Johann trollmann war ein genialer boxer, aber kein arier. aus diesem Grund wurde ihm 1933 der überlegen errungene Deutsche meistertitel vom nazi-regime aberkannt - wegen „undeutschem kampfstils“. Die einladung zu einem neuen titelkampf war mit der auflage versehen, „zu kämpfen wie ein Deutscher“. also kam trollmann mit weiß gepudertem körper und blondierten haaren in den ring und ließ sich dort, ohne sich zu wehren, niederschlagen. in folge musste er in den konzentrationslagern unzähliche Demütigungen ertragen und wurde 1944 ermordet. erst gegen ende des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde er in der öffentlichkeit rehabilitiert und posthum als recht-mäßiger deutscher meister 1933 geführt.
Johann trollmann was a brilliant boxer, but wasn’t an aryan. Due to this reason his achieved German championship title in 1933 was no longer recognised by the nazi-regime– because of „ungerman style of fighting“. the invitation to a new title fight came with the requirement „to fight like a German“. so trollmann came into the ring with a body covered in white powder and hair dyed blond and let himself be beaten without defending himself. as a consequence he had to bear uncountable humiliation in the concentration camps and was murdered in 1944. it wasn’t until about the end of the 20th century that he was redeemed into the public and seen posthumous as rightful German champion1933.
06d:Dies ist die „kowloon walled city“, ein rechtsfreier stadtteil von hongkong, der bis zu seinem abriss 1993 die höchste bewohnerdichte der welt aufwies. er diente auch als filmkulisse für den streifen „the Dark city“

„Komm nur rein!“ Sally freute sich, ihre Schwester nach gut zwei Jahren wieder zu sehen. Seit diese umgezogen war, hatten sich die beiden kaum mehr zu Gesicht bekommen. „Ich hab vorhin überlegt, wann Du denn zum letzten Mal hier warst.“ - „Weißt Du nicht mehr? Kurz nachdem wir beide schwanger wurden.“ - „Richtig“, lachte Sally, „und stupste ihr Baby zärtlich an. „Wann ist es denn bei Dir soweit mit dem Geburtstermin, Schwesterchen“, fragte Sally. - „Oh, das könnte noch rund ein Jahr oder länger dauern.“
Wie ist das möglich, obwohl es sich bei Sally und ihrer Schwester tatsächlich um Blutsverwandte handelt und es bei Sallys Schwester noch diesselbe Schwangerschaft ist, die im Gespräch der beiden erwähnt wurde?
