Auf ein Wort!

Die Jahreshauptversammlung hat im März stat tgefunden. Die Versammlung ist harmonisch abgelaufen. E in wesent l icher Punkt die­ser Versammlung war die Ehrung langjähriger Mitglieder. Neuwahlen stan­den nicht an. Diese sind erst 1991 vorgesehen. Ich darf an dieser Stel le be­reits jetzt bekannt geben, daß ich ab 1991 nicht mehr für das Amt a ls Vor­stand kandidieren werde. Und e ines möchte ich vorab sagen , ich bin nicht verärgert. Nein ich habe e infach keine Lust mehr d ieses Amt auszuführen. Meine Bitte deshalb von dieser Stel le aus an S ie , liebe Mitglieder. Ein jeder sol l te s ich einmal selbst prüfen, ob es nicht möglich wäre, den Verein in das 100-jährige Vereinsjubiläum zuführen. Und noch e twas ! E s müßte j a nicht unbedingt ein Mann sein a ls Vorsi tzen­der. Ich könnte mir gut vorstel len, daß d ieses Amt auch von einer Frau sehr gut ausgeführt werden kann. In d iesem Sinne, wünsche ich Ihnen schöne Frühlingstage, und wer bereits die Pf ingstfer ien a l s Urlaubszeit nützt, einen schönen Urlaub.

Schweinfurt OL'er (nicht nur) auf schnellen Beinen

Der Ruf der Wi ldnis war es am 2 1 . und 22. April wieder e inmal , der die Schweinfur ter OL 'e r in die Ferne lockte. Das Ziel hiieß Mainaschiaff, wo beim J u x - O L des dortigen T S V , wo die aus nah und fern angereisten OL 'er einiges erwarten sol l te. Hierbei kam es weniger auf die Laufgeschwind igke i t an, es galt vielmehr, die an den einzelnen Posten gestel l ten Aufgaben auszuführen, wo­bei die Lachmuske ln nicht sel ten bis zum Äußersten strapaziert wurden. So kamen n ichtsahnende Spaziergänger aus dem Kopfschütteln nicht mehr her­aus , a ls s ie diverse se l t same Gesta l ten mit knallrot geschminkten Lippen und te i lweise se l tsamer, da untereinander ausgetauschter , Kleidung im Wald beobachteten, die laut und schief sangen, kopfüber im Wassere imer mit den Zähnen nach Walnüssen angelten, nach dem "Genuß" von trockenen Hafer f locken verzweifelt versuchten, zu pfeifen, an ihren Strohhalmen hin­gen, um möglichst schne l l einen Krug Bier /L imo auszutr inken. . . .Besonders bei letzterem machte s ich das regelmäßige Train ing bezahlt: Hier und beim Nußtauchen sch lugen das Team Kathrin Haas , S u s a n n e Niemeyer, An ja Stemmer, Uwe Bock, Stefan Ott al le anderen aus ganz Bayern angereis ten Tei lnehmer um Längen und wurde feierl ich mit den Titeln "Dip lom-Tauche r " und "D ip lom-Sch luckspech te " ausgezeichnet .

Am Tag darauf begann dann wieder der " E r n s t des L e b e n s " beim 17. Möm-linger Orient ierungslauf. -Naja, eigent l ich konnte man eher von e inem Orient ierungs-Klettern reden, da auch im Laufgebiet die Orkane ihre mehr a ls deut l ichen Spuren hinter lassen haben. So mancher Läufer fand s i ch des öfteren statt auf e inem in der Karte e ingezeichneten Weg in e inem unü­berschaubaren und undurchdringl ichen Dschungel aus umgestürzten Bäu­men wieder. Dennoch landeten aber al le Tei lnehmer früher oder später mit mehr oder weniger zerkratzten Beinen wieder im Zie l . Das Resul ta t der Jahn le r schließlich konnte s i ch sehen lassen : In D19E (7km Luft l inie/10 Posten) erreichte S u s a n n e Niemeyer den 12. Platz, in D19A (5km L1/11 Posten) gab es einen 1. Platz für An ja S temmer und einen 4. Platz für Kathrin Haas und der Lauf in H19A (7km L1/10 Posten) endete für Uwe Bock mit dem 5., für Ral f Geyer mit dem 6. und für Ste fan Ott mit dem 7. Platz.

I l s e W a l t e r für 25-jährige Spielertätigkeit i m K o r b b a l l , s o w i e A n n e r o s e M e y e r für 4 0 0 K o r b b a l l s p i e l e .

D i e H a l l e n r u n d e 1 9 8 9 / 9 0 i s t i n z w i s c h e n a b g e s c h l o s s e n , w o b e i d i e Minischüler in d e r K r e i s l i g a M 1 2 / 7 d e n l e t z t e n S p i e l t a g ersatzgeschwächt b e s t r e i t e n mußten, a b e r t r o t z d e m g u t m i t s p i e l ­t e n . Z w e i m a l l a g m a n in d e r H a l b z e i t m i t 2:1 v o r n e , t r a f d a n n l e i d e r d e n K o r b n i c h t m e h r , s o daß b e i d e S p i e l e g e g e n H a m b a c h II u n d S V 1 9 0 0 j e w e i l s m i t 2 : 3 v e r l o r e n g i n g e n u n d m a n d a ­d u r c h a u f d e n 7. P l a t z zurückfiel. A u c h d i e Schülermannschaft mußte in d e r B e z i r k s l i g a d i e l e t z t e n S p i e l t a g e ersatzgeschwächt d u r c h s t e h e n . N u r d u r c h d e n E i n s a t z v o n M i n i ' s w a r e s möglich, d a s d i e l e t z t e n S p i e l e a u s g e t r a g e n w e r d e n k o n n t e n . U n t e r s o l c h e n Verhältnissen w a r d e r A b s t i e g a u s d e r höchsten Schülerliga u n v e r m e i d b a r .

D i e 1 . J u g e n d in d e r K r e i s l i g a A I h a t t e d i e C h a n c e z u m K l a s s e n e r h a l t . I m l e t z t e n S p i e l g e g e n Königsberg führte m a n 3 M i n . v o r S p i e l e n d e n o c h 7 :5 , a b e r d i e s e r V o r s p r u n g r e i c h t e d a n n d o c h n i c h t a u s , u m d i e s e s S p i e l z u g e w i n n e n , d e n n w e n i g e S e k u n d e n v o r d e m Schlußpfiff führte e i n z w e i f e l h a f t e r 6 m B a l l z u m 7:7 A u s g l e i c h u n d d i e s e r V e r l u s t p u n k t k o s t e t e d e n K l a s ­s e n e r h a l t . D e r 2. J u g e n d in d e r K r e i s l i g a D I s t a n d e n a m l e t z t e n S p i e l t a g k r a n k h e i t s b e d i n g t n u r 4 J u g e n d l i c h e z u r Verfügung. U m e i n D e b a k e l z u v e r m e i d e n , w u r d e n 2 Schülerinnen e i n g e ­s e t z t , d i e . n i c h t n u r mi t großen E h r g e i z s p i e l t e n , s o n d e r n a u c h d u r c h e r f o l g r e i c h e Korbwürfe e i n g u t e s A b s c h n e i d e n ermöglichten. D a s l e t z t e S p i e l g e g e n W e r n e c k k o n n t e s o g a r m i t 5 :3 ge ­w o n n e n w e r d e n , w a s j e d o c h k e i n e n Einfluß m e h r a u f d i e T a b e l l e h a t t e .
