Bildschirmarbeit, fortschreitende Miniaturisierung, Null-Fehler-Produktion, Energieeffizienz: Aus der rasant wachsenden Bedeu-tung dieser Faktoren resultieren immer schwierigere Sehauf-gaben, die sowohl von der Allgemein-, als auch Einzelarbeits-platzbeleuchtung technisch ausgereifte Lösungen erfordern, umaugenschonendes, ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten zu ermöglichen.Unter verschiedensten Gesichtspunkten liefern EVG's hierzu ei-nen entscheidenden Beitrag:

Gesundheit und SicherheitRuhiges, flimmerfreies Licht: Beim Betrieb von (Kompakt-) Leucht-stofflampen an konventionellen Vorschaltgeräten (KVG, 50 Hz Betrieb)schaltet die Lampe bei jedem Nulldurchgang der Wechselspannung ab.Wenn die Lampenspannung beim Wiederzünden ins Positive wechselt,setzt der Lichtbogen nicht mehr am gleichen Punkt der Wendelelektrodean. Deshalb flackert eine Leuchtstofflampe beim Betrieb an einem KVG,was je nach individueller Empfindlichkeit als störend wahrgenommenwerden kann. Beim Betrieb an Elektronischen Vorschaltgeräten (EVG,Hochfrequenz) tritt dieser Effekt nicht auf.Keine stroboskopischen Effekte, also scheinbarer Stillstand rotierenderTeile, verringern die Unfallgefahr an Maschinen durch HF-Betrieb erheb-lich.Geringe magnetische Feldstärken: Beim Einsatz von EVG wird Elektros-mog vermieden, da keine magnetischen Streufelder vorhanden sind.Brummfreier Betrieb: Der Betrieb von Leuchtstofflampen mit EVG istgeräuschlos. Durch die Verwendung von hohen Betriebsfrequenzenkommt es nicht zum sog. 100Hz-Brummen, wie beim Betrieb mit KVG.

KomfortEin flackerfreier Start von Leuchtstofflampen wird ermöglicht, da dieWendeln vorgeheizt werden und ein ausreichend hoher Zündimpuls andie Lampe gelegt wird. Abschaltung am Lampenlebensdauerende: Das EVG schaltet die Lampezuverlässig ab. Unangenehmes Blinken und Flackern wird vermieden.

Umwelt und Wirtschaftlichkeit25%-30% weniger Energieverbrauch bei gleichem Lichtstrom. Das hatzwei Ursachen: Zum einen ist das EVG um ca. 22% wirtschaftlicher alsein KVG, und zum anderen benötigt die Leuchtstofflampe weniger Lei-stung, da sie nicht wie im KVG-Betrieb bei jedem Nulldurchgang derWechselspannung ausgeschaltet wird .Ca. 50% höhere Lampenlebensdauer , ca. 30% weniger LampenabfallIm EVG-Betrieb beträgt die Lampenlebensdauer bis zu 20.000 Stundenanstatt max. 12.000 Stunden mit KVG. Dadurch fallen weniger Müll,Quecksilber und andere Abfallstoffe an.

Effizienteres Arbeiten mit EVGNachgewiesen durch eine praxisorientierte Studie des renommiertenLichtexperten Christian Bartenbach, Innsbruck ergab der Vergleich zwi-schen EVG und KVG folgende Ergebnisse:

1. Wörter genau und schnell erkennen +15%2. Effizienz der Textübertragung +49%3. Details und Unterschiede erkennen +49%4. Überblicksgewinnung am Bildschirm +30%

VORTEILE ELEKTRONISCHER VORSCHALTGERÄTE (EVG)

VDU-work, preceding miniaturizing, zero-mistake-production,energy efficiency: as a result of the rapidly growing importance ofthese aspects much more difficult visual tasks occur, demandingtechnically sophisticated solutions in general and task lighting toallow working performance without overstrained eyes over along period of time. HF-ballasts make a decisive contribution tothe aspects mentioned above and to further ones as follows:

Health and SafetyCalm and flicker-free light: When operating fluorescent lamps with Con-ventional Control Gear (CCG, 50/60 Hz operation), the lamp is switchedoff with every frequency switch of the AC voltage. After re-ignition, the el-ectric arc starts from a different location on the lamp on the electrode. Asa result, fluorescent lamps produce a flickering effect when operated withCCGs, which could be perceived as disturbing depending on individualsensitiveness.When operated with Electronic Control Gear (high frequency operation),no flickering can be seen.No stroboscopic effects, i.e. rotating parts seem to stand still, reduce thedanger of accident e.g. at machines significantly effected by the HF-ope-ration.Low magnetic stray field: Due to the missing stray field the use of theECG prevents the generation of electric smog.Operation without noise: ECG guarantees the silent operation of fluores-cent lamps. Unlike conventional control gear (CCG), ECG's work withhigh frequencies and, as a result, operate without any 100Hz noise.

ComfortThe flicker-free starting of fluorescent lamps results from the preheatingof the lamp electrodes and a sufficient ignition pulse. Automatic switch-off at end of lamp life: The ECG switches off the lampsautomatically. Because of this feature, unpleasant flickering is eliminated.

Environment and EfficiencyLower energy consumption 25%-30%: Although they generate the samelight output as conventional systems, lamps with ECGs consume lessenergy. There are two reasons for this; ECGs are approximately 22%more energy efficient than their conventional counterparts, and the lampsthemselves consume less energy, as high frequency operation does notswitch off the lamps during zero-transition.Higher lamp life (approx. 50%), waste is reduced by approximately30%Utilizing ECGs extends the lamp life up to 20,000 hours lamp lifecompared to max. 12,000 hours using CCGs. A longer lamp life reducesthe amount of mercury and other waste substantially.

Überall dort, wo im Produktionsalltag gerichtetes, starkes Licht benötigtwird, sind Halogenleuchten eine ideale Lösung. Fast alle Modelle sindentweder serienmäßig oder als Sonderlösung auch zum Anschluß an dieMaschinen-Kleinspannung lieferbar. Wir verwenden verwindungssteife,solide Gelenkarme mit schwingungsdämpfender, vibrationsarmer undlanglebiger Konstruktion. Durch bis zu fünf Drehachsen kann der Leuch-tenkopf in die gewünschte Position gebracht werden.

Wherever you need concentrated, powerful light in the production shop -halogen models are an ideal solution. Nearly all our models are availablefor direct connection to the low voltage supply of a machine either asstandard or on special request. To achieve a durable design that is resi-stant against vibrations and torsion we use rugged heavy-duty friction-arms. The arms have up to five movements to bring the lighting head tothe right position.

Für unsere traditionellen Glühlampenleuchten ist unser Haus seitmehr als 80 Jahren bekannt! Diese „Youngtimer“ sind aus dem In-dustriealltag oder aus der Schiffsausrüstung nicht wegzudenken.

Die IP 20-Versionen haben ein Wechselreflektoren-System mit Bajonett-verschluß, das einen einfachen Austausch gegen den kleineren 60W-Re-flektor oder bei Defekt ermöglicht.

An den Leuchten 710, 711 und 712 wird unser Standard-Reibungsge-lenkarm mit fünf Drehachsen in unterschiedlichen Ausladungen verbaut.Diese einfache, aber robuste Konstruktion aus Stahlrohren ist in der Pra-xis 100 000-fach bewährt. Wo erforderlich, sind die Friktionsgelenke mitFlügelmuttern einstellbar.Der Scherenwandarm „110“ ist der Klassiker unter unseren Tragarmenund hat nach wie vor viele Liebhaber. Technik: Stabile, genietete Doppel-schere aus eloxierten Aluminiumstäben mit integrierter, sicherer Kabelführung.

We are well-known for our traditional incandescent models sincemore than eighty years! These “youngtimers” are omnipresent inmany industries as well as in marine equipment.

The IP 20 versions have a bayonet joint enabling to interchange the re-flector easily against the smaller 60W-lamp shade or to repair a defectiveone.

Models 710, 711 and 712 are equipped with our standard friction-arm indifferent arm lengths providing five movements. The simple, but ruggeddesign made of steel tubes make this type a long time favourite. The fric-tion joints are adjustable by tension control knobs where necessary.

Extensible wall-arm '110': This time-tested classical solution has stillmany 'fans'. Technique: Sturdy double lazy tongs made of anodised al-uminium bars with rivet joints. The cord is guided safely inside of the tongs.
