leider werden wir uns noch nicht so bald wiedersehen. Ich hoffe, ihr seid alle gesund und habt euchan die Arbeitsweise mit dem home schooling gewöhnt.

Für die nächsten Wochen schicke ich euch den Wochenplan und eine alte zentrale Klassenarbeit, sodass ihr euch darauf vorbereiten könnt. Dabei ist auch eine Hördatei, die ihr hoffentlich alle öffnenund euch anhören könnt.

Der Big-Challenge-Wettbewerb bietet auch viele Übungsmöglichkeiten für alle Schüler (mit oderohne Anmeldung) an, z. B. in der Game Zone, in der ihr auch gegeneinander spielen könnt. Probiertes einfach mal aus! Ich schicke euch den Link für die Aufgaben vom letzten Jahr mit, so dass ihr auchhier üben könnt.

The Thief

Charlie and Nick always enjoy hanging out at Townsville shopping centre. It’s fun.

There´s much to do and much to see.

One Friday afternoon Charlie and Nick were sitting in the new Smoothie Bar on the

upper floor. From there you can see everything. They were watching a young boy

who was wearing jeans, a large red T-shirt and a black cap. He was standing in front

of the electronics shop and was nervously looking around. After a few minutes he

went into the shop and some seconds later Charlie and Nick saw him again. He was

running out of the shop.

Nick said: “Hey, did you see how fast the boy was running away?”

“Yes, do you think he has stolen anything? Come on! Let’s try to catch him! Look, he

is running to the stairs,” Charlie answered.

The two boys jumped up from their seats, knocked down some chairs and ran to the

stairs. Nick was first and saw the boy.

He shouted: “Look, here he is. We can catch him.”

Charlie grabbed the boy’s arm, and the boy slipped. Two new smartphones fell out of

his jeans pockets. The boy tried to get away, but Nick and Charlie were stronger.

Seconds later the store detective arrived and took the boy with him.

The next day there was an article in the newspaper with a large photo of Charlie and

Nick. The shopping centre management thanked the two friends. They got a

shopping voucher for £100.
