Life Coaster by DaNieL sCHÄfer Seit gut zehn Jahren lebt Daniel Schäfer mit Leidenschaft, Neugier und dem Streben nach Perfektion die Fotografie.

Er findet sich in unterschiedlichen Bereichen wie der Architektur-, Interior- und der Portrait-Fotografie wieder. Auf seinen Reisen findet er die Inspiration für atemberaubende Aufnahmen fremder Orte & Kulturen.

Seine Arbeiten zeichnen sich durch individuelle, grafische Ästhetik sowie einem zeitgenössischen, kosmopolitischen Blick aus. Immer auf der Suche nach neuen Bildausschnitten, Perspektiven und Kompositionen spielt er mit Bewegungen, Kontrasten, Lichtern, Farben und Texturen. Der überwiegend mysteriöse Ausdruck seiner Bilderwelten wirkt besonders eindrucksvoll, sobald Menschen im Zentrum seiner Kompositionen stehen. Daniel Schäfer präsentiert Werke aus der Serie »Oktoberfest « in der Ausstellung Life Coaster. Hier werden 12 Motive der Nacht-Aufnahmenaus den Jahren 2005-2009 gezeigt. »Schon seit einigen Jahren begeistert mich das Münchner Oktoberfest mit seiner Farb-, Bewegungs- & Lichtervielfalt bei Nacht. So ziehe ich durch die Thematik-Überschrift » Achterbahn des Lebens «, bzw. der Intensität der Motive einen Vergleich zum Leben. «

In der Werkreihe Life Coaster zeigt der Künstler seine sehr persönliche Sichtweise der » Wies‘n «, jenem berühmten Münchner Volksfest, welches 2010 sein 200-jähriges Jubiläum feiert. Durch den Kontrast der hellen Lichter in der tiefschwarzen Nacht entstehen besonders intensive Farben. So erweckt der Künstler eine surreale Welt zum Leben – die abgebildeten Menschen sind ein Teil davon.

Life Coaster by DaNieL sCHÄfer Desde hace más de 10 años Daniel Schäfer vive la fotografía con pasión, curiosidad y perfeccionamiento técnico. Desarrolla su carrera artística a través de la fotografía de arquitectura, interiorismo y retrato. Y en sus viajes y en el contacto con otras culturas encuentra su inspiración.

En su estilo artístico destaca un carácter gráfico, contemporáneo y cosmo-polita. Siempre jugando con movimiento, contraste, luz, color y texturas, en sus trabajos se aprecia una búsqueda permanente de nuevas composiciones, encuadres y perspectivas. La expresión de sus imágenes resulta especial-mente llamativa cuando las personas están en el centro de la composición.

Basada en sus fotografías nocturnas de la serie Oktoberfest, Daniel Schäfer presenta la exposición Life Coaster, compuesta de 12 piezas realizadas entre los años 2005 y 2009.

A través del contraste de los colores con la oscuridad de la noche, con la exposición Life Coaster Daniel Schäfer da vida a un universo onírico donde las personas participan puntualmente en la composición y nos muestra su visión particular del Oktoberfest -las fiestas populares de la capital de Bavaria (Munich) que en el año 2010 celebran su 200 Aniversario-.

Life Coaster by DaNieL sCHÄfer After more than 10 years working as a photographer and focusing on the development of his technical skills for the perfect finish, Daniel Schäfer has come to his photographic artistic sensibility here through architecture, interiors, travel and portrait. Nowadays, with a pronounced geometric graphic style and a very organic, contemporary and cosmopolitan point of view, his artistic works go into the digital search of new framings, compositions and perspectives to find a mixture of a classical approach of the Renaissance construction and powerful contemporary abstractions. His photo-graphic point of view is made up of vanishing lines, movements, contrasts, lights and shadows, textures and colors. Meanwhile the human being -mysterious, disturbing or solitary- wanders his particular imagery.

:: Based on his nocturnal impressions of the series Oktoberfest, Daniel Schäfer and Myra Vidal Art Show present for the first time the exhibition Life Coaster, consisting of 12 artworks made between 2005 & 2009.

»During several years, I have felt myself captivated by the lights of the roller coasters and through this fascination was born the exhibition Life Coaster. I particularly like to compare this selection of images with Life because each piece is able to reflect the power, turns, games or surprises that can be experienced in our daily life.«

The exhibition shows a peculiar view of the Oktoberfest, the famous annual folk festival celebrated in Munich, where the intensity of colour stands in contrast with the deep black of the night and originates a graphic composi-tion with people participating occasionally as foreign objects of a surrealistic world:
