For lecturers: we (also) have to go through a learning phase!
(i) Our faults (not intentionally !):
Too much in too little time:… usually it takes (at least) a semester, what we put in one hour

Too many (diverse) subjects: … difficult for a physics student, but impossible for chemistry, biology etc.
