Voith Fuji Hydro is a joint venture company of Voith Hydro Holding GmbH & Co. KG and Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. Our aim is to provide “world’s most advanced technology” of Voith with Fuji Electric’s “spirit of service and hospitality” .Hydropower plant in Japan has a history over 120 years, as well as significance as stable and established source of energy. Its significance is expected to increase further.Feed-in tariff scheme (FIT, purchase of total amount of electricity generated from renewable energy) has been revised several times since its introduction in 2012, and is expected to continue to be a stable basis. In this scheme, among others, small hydropower is supposed to secure a long-term growth.Hydropower in overseas markets we handle such as Asia-Pacific is also expected to grow, stimulated by economic development and increased attention on global warming that now became a worldwide issue. We will continue our contribution to environment-friendly energy by providing high-performance equipment as well as long-standing after-service.

社長挨拶　当社は、富士電機株式会社とVoith Hydro Holding GmbH & Co. KGとの合弁会社です。フォイトの持つ「世界最先端の技術」を富士電機の「サービスとおもてなしの心」でお届けする事を目指しています。わが国の水力発電は120年を超える歴史を誇り、安定的で確立された電源として大切な役割を担っております。今後とも環境への負荷が少ないエネルギー源として一層重要性を増していくものと思われます。2012年に導入された再生可能エネルギー固定価格買取制度（FIT）は、これまで何度か制度改正が図られ、今後も安定的に運用されていくものと見込まれております。とりわけ小水力発電については息の長い拡大が期待されます。また当社が担当するアジア太平洋地域では、経済の発展に加え、世界的課題となった地球温暖化対策が重要性を増すなか、水力発電の拡大が見込まれております。今後も高効率な水力発電所機器、安定的なアフターサービスを通じ、環境にやさしいエネルギーの提供に貢献してまいります。
