The emergency lighting units SICUROTRON-FLG, -FLG-S and FLG-SRM are designedaccording to the standard EN 60598-2-22and are suited to be mounted in lightinginstallations eomplying with the standardEN 50172. The emergency lighting units SICUROTRON-LEC and -LEC-S as well as -LEC-N aredesigned according to the standard EN60598-2-22 and are suited to be mounted inlighting installations employing with thestandard EN 50171 and EN 50172.The unitsLEC-S have additionaly the capability toautomatically test themselves.Once a weeka functional test checks the function of thelamp as well as of the battery.About 4 timesa year, this test is longer and is activated forthe nominal operating time of the emer-gency lighting in order to test the batterycapacity. The emergency lighting unitsSICUROTRON-LEC-SRM are designed for usein BUIS-systems SICUROLINK-M2 with a cen-tral controller with local supervision orsupervision over internet.

Diese Notlichtelemente sind speziell für denBetrieb von LED-Leuchten in Dauer- undBereitschaftsschaltung konzipiert.Im Netzbetrieb wird der LED-Strom elektro-nisch geregelt, wobei mittels einem Jumperder LED-Strom zwischen 110 und 450mAausgewählt werden kann [5 Positio-nen: 0=110mA, 1=150mA, 2=225mA,3=300mA, 4=450mA]. Das Notlichtelementarbeitet somit im Netzbetrieb als reineStromquelle. Die Spannung, welche auf denLED’s entsteht, ergibt sich in Abhängigkeitder LED-Anordnung. Die maximale Aus-gangsleistung im Netzbetrieb ist auf 10Wbegrenzt bzw. die maximale Ausgangs-spannung auf 28V; die minimale Ausgangs-spannung beträgt 15V.Im Notbetrieb wird die Ausgangsleistungauf 1W geregelt, unabhängig von der LED-Anordnung.Für die Notbeleuchtung ab Zentralbatteriebzw. als Hinweisleuchte im reinen Netzbe-trieb sind die Geräte SICUROTRON-LEC-Neinzusetzen. Der Ausgangsstrom bleibtsowohl bei Netzbetrieb wie bei Notbetriebab Zentralbatterie gleich.Die Notlichtelemente der Baureihe SICURO-TRON-LEC, -LEC-S, -LEC-SRM und -LEC-N sindnicht geeignet für den Einsatz mit LED-Lei-sten, welche bereits über eine eigeneStrombegrenzung verfügen bzw. mit einerbestimmten Spannung [z.B. 15 oder 28V]betrieben werden müssen. Ferner ist zubeachten, dass die Ausgangsspannung,welche am LED-Ausgang entsteht, als SELV-Spannung betrachtet werden kann; d.h.,dass die Isolierung, wie in unseren Notlicht-elementen SICUROTRON der Baureihe LEC,LEC-S, LEC-SRM und LEC-N, zwischen derNetz- und der Ausgangsspannung gemässNorm als verstärkte Isolierung zu bauen ist.In unseren Notleuchten können daher beiangeschlossenem Netz die LED’s ausge-tauscht werden.

These emergency lighting units are special-ly designed for the operation of LED lumi-naires in continuous and standby switchingmodes.In mains operating mode, the LED current iscontrolled electronically whereby you canuse a jumper to select between 110 and450mA [5 positions: 0=110mA, 1=150mA,2=225mA, 3=300mA, 4=450mA].Therefore,in mains operation, the emergency lightingunit works purely as a source of current.Thevoltage arising at the LEDs depends on theway the LEDs are arranged. The maximumpower output in mains mode is limited to10W or the maximum output voltage limit-ed to 28V. The minimum output voltage is15V.In emergency operating mode, the poweroutput is controlled at 1W, irrespective ofthe LED arrangement.For emergency lighting from a central bat-tery or as an exit light in pure mains operat-ing mode, SICUROTRON-LEC-N units are tobe used. The output current remains thesame in both mains mode and emergencymode from a central battery.The emergency lighting units in the SICURO-TRON-LEC, -LEC-S, -LEC-SRM and -LEC-Nrange are not suitable for use with LED strips,which already have their own current limit-ing system or have to be operated at a spe-cific voltage [e.g. 15 or 28V]. Furthermore,care should be taken to ensure that the out-put voltage arising at the LED output canbe regarded as SELV voltage. In other words,that the insulation, such as in our SICURO-TRON emergency lighting units in the LEC,LEC-S, LEC-SRM and LEC-N range, is to beconstructed in the form of reinforced insula-tion between the mains and output voltageaccording to the standard. Therefore, withour emergency luminaires, the LEDs can bereplaced whilst still connected to the mains.

Le courant desortie reste inchangé, à la fois en cas de fonc-tionnement sur secteur et de fonctionnementde secours avec une batterie centrale.Les éléments de secours de la gamme SICURO-TRON-LEC, LEC-S, LEC-SRM et LEC-N ne convien-nent pas pour une utilisation avec des barrettesde diodes,qui disposent déjà d'une propre limi-tation de courant ou doivent fonctionner avecune tension bien définie [par ex.15 ou 28V].Parailleurs,il faut tenir compte du fait que la tensionde sortie au niveau de la sortie des diodes peutêtre considérée comme une tension de sécuri-té très basse ;en d'autres termes,l'isolation com-me dans nos éléments de secours SICUROTRONde la gamme LEC,LEC-S,LEC-SRM et LEC-N doitêtre mise en place et renforcée entre la tensiondu secteur et la tension de sortie conformémentaux normes en vigueur.En ce qui concerne noséclairages de secours,les diodes peuvent doncêtre remplacées réseau branché.
