8.0. 843(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Seeds Act, 1966 (54 of 1966), the CentralGovernment, after consultation with the Central 8e~ Committee, being of opinion that it is necessary and expemem toregulate the quality of the seeds of the varieties specified in column (2) of the Table below of the kinds specified in thecorresponding entries in column (3) of the said Table, to be sold for the,purposes of agriculture, hereby declares the saidvarieties of seeds to be notifiedvarieties, for a pep.od of fifteen yearsfiom the date of publication of this notification in the
