The first snow of the year falls in Zell am See-Kaprun in early

autumn. The Kitzsteinhorn is the first to sport a white cap – the

new ski season starts on the glacier – before the Schmitten and

Maiskogel too become wrapped up in glistening white snow.

To enable visitors to savour this unique winter landscape in all

its diversity, ski passes from 2 days are valid in the Schmitten,

Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel ski areas, and for 138 kilometres of

pistes with 51 cable cars and lift facilities. We hope that you

have fun on the mountains!
