TeleTrusT-Initiative "IT Security made in Germany" (ITSMIG) "ITSMIG" ("IT Security made in Germany") wurde 2005 auf Ini-tiative des Bundesministeriums des Innern (BMI), des Bundes-ministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) sowie Ver-tretern der deutschen IT-Sicherheitswirtschaft etabliert. Nach gemeinsamen Erörterungen wurde die Initiative in die Träger-schaft des TeleTrusT – Bundesverband IT Sicherheit e.V. über-führt. Die TeleTrusT-Arbeitsgruppe "ITSMIG" verfolgt das Ziel einer gemeinsamen Außendarstellung der an der Arbeitsgruppe mitwirkenden Unternehmen und Institutionen gegenüber Politik, Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Öffentlichkeit auf deutscher, eu-ropäischer bzw. globaler Ebene. Die Verwendung des marken-rechtlich geschützten TeleTrusT-Qualitätszeichens "IT Security made in Germany" wird interessierten Anbietern durch Tele-TrusT auf Antrag und bei Erfüllung der nachstehenden Kriterien zeitlich befristet gestattet: 1. Der Unternehmenshauptsitz muss in Deutschland sein.2. Das Unternehmen muss vertrauenswürdige IT-Sicherheitslösungen anbieten.3. Die angebotenen Produkte dürfen keine versteckten Zugänge enthalten (keine "Backdoors").4. Die IT-Sicherheitsforschung und -entwicklung des Unternehmens muss in Deutschland stattfinden.5. Das Unternehmen muss sich verpflichten, den Anforderun- gen des deutschen Datenschutzrechtes zu genügen. Diese Broschüre enthält Beispiele.

TeleTrusT Initiative "IT Security made in Germany" (ITSMIG) "ITSMIG" ("IT Security made in Germany") has been established originally 2005 by the German Federal Ministries of the Interior and of Economics and Technology as well as by representatives of the German IT security industry. As a result of mutual consul-tations ITSMIG was 2011 connected to TeleTrusT. The TeleTrusT Working Group "ITSMIG" aims to present IT security products, solutions and services "made in Germany" at national and in-ternational level towards industry partners, politics, authorities, organizations and science, by emphasizing particular trustwor-thiness laid down in criteria that are basis for granting the quality seal. Thus, the initiative has an export-oriented approach and represents "made in Germany" in connection with IT security in a globalized world. Membership is restricted to entities declaring conformity with the following requirements: The bearer of the TeleTrusT quality seal "IT Security made in Germany"

1. shall be headquartered in Germany;2. shall offer trustworthy IT security solutions;3. shall not offer solutions that contain hidden backdoors;4. shall have its IT security research and development established in Germany;5. shall be compliant with German data protection law. (TeleTrusT) ist ein Kom-petenznetzwerk, das in- und ausländische Mitglieder aus Indus-trie, Verwaltung und Wissenschaft sowie thematisch verwandte Partnerorganisationen umfasst.
