Munich Grand Rounds in Transplantation Guest speakers

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Munich Grand Rounds in Transplantation at the Grosshadern Medical Center of the University of Munich on December 1st, 2010.

The newly developed format Munich Grand Rounds in Trans-plantation is designed to promote and exchange expertise and knowledge in the field of solid organ transplantation. The scientific program will include invited lectures from international as well as local experts and will feature State-of-the-Art-clinical transplantation as well as newest discoveries in basic /trans-lational and clinical research relevant to transplantation.

It is our privilege to kick off the first Munich Grand Rounds in Transplantation with two outstanding academic surgeons from the Multi-organ Transplant Program of the University of Toronto:

Dr. David Grant is Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto where he is the Surgical Director of the Multi-organ Transplant Program and the Director of the Transplant Centre at Sick Kids. He performed the first liver-small bowel trans-plantation in 1989.

Dr. Paul Greig is Professor of Surgery at the University of To-ronto where he is Program Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship and the HepatoPancreato-Biliary Onco-logy Fellowship.

We trust that this event will be informative and memorable and look forward to welcoming you in Munich on December 1st, 2010. On behalf of the Interdisciplinary Liver Transplant Group and the Transplant Center Munich of the University of Munich.
