Once there was a boy who asked God for a flower and a butterfly.

But instead God gave him a cactus and a caterpillar.

Es war einmal ein Junge, der bat Gott um eine Blume und um einen Schmetterling

Aber Gott gab ihm statt dessen einen Kaktus und eine Raupe.

The boy was sad, he didn’t understand why his request was mistaken. Then he thought “Oh well, God has too many people to care for,” and decided not to question. After some time, the boy went to check up on his request that he had left forgotten.

Der Junge war traurig, und konnte nicht so richtig verstehen, warum seine Bitte so missverstanden worden war. Dann dachte er : Na ja, Gott hat zuviele Menschen, um die Er sich kümmern muss…Und entschied sich nicht zu zweifeln.

Nach einiger Zeit ging er aber, um sich die Sachen, um die er gebeten hatte und unbeachtet zurueckgelassen hatte, noch einmal anzusehen.

To his surprise, from the thorny and ugly cactus a beautiful flower had grown.

And the unsightly caterpillar had been transformed into the most beautiful butterfly!

Zu seiner Überraschung war eine wünderschöne Blüte aus dem hässlichen und dornigen Kaktus gewachsen.

Und die unscheinbare Raupe hatte sich in einen äusserst schönen Schmetterling verwandelt !

God always does things right, even if to us it seems all wrong.

If you asked God for one thing and received another, trust.

You can be sure that He will always give you what you need at the appropriate time.

Gott tut immer das Richtige!

Wenn Du Gott um etwas gebeten hast, und etwas anderes erhältst, dann Vertraue Ihm.

Du kannst Dir sicher sein, dass Er Dir immer zur rechten Zeit das gibt, was Du brauchst.
